I feel the same. I like her but stopped watching her after DOTS. She was quite gutsy in that drama but I don't particularly enjoy when she plays in melo.

Agree! The story is so interesting. When I watched the episode where it's revealed that FZ is the baixi for the emperor, it was a twist that left me in shock and wanting to know more. The casting is great too...the acting is either very nuanced or in good contrast. So good!

How is it bad writing? The tea was awarded by the Emperor and before that he was praising their workmanship so you put the 2 together, there is no cause for suspect. Also, the girls are not in charge of spies...only their leader is and from her face, she must have known that something was off with the tea.

I don't mind the cross dressing as long as she still looks like a girl. In some dramas, they look too manly and I just can't. Speaking of this, the cross dressing for YM here is better than her disguise as a man in Ten Miles.

I like both the FML and SML but I find the makeup for FML is overdone. Or is it a filter they use? Cos in some scenes, he looks like he was photoshopped or had botox. It's affecting my enjoyment of the show. Thank God the fringe of the SML is looking normal again cos it sure was weird at first. I like this drama up to ep 16. I watched ep 17 and 18 and feel my interest dimming especially after seeing what they've done to the stepsis and what she said. Maybe I'll take a break and come back to this later when more episodes are available.

I like the battle scenes a lot. Pretty epic. I couldn't help but compare it with The Long Ballad. The latter could have been grand if they had real battle scenes. Anyway, Yangmi really kicks ass!
