Watching Hira reassure Kiyoi that he would never meet his parents while breaking Kiyoi’s heart was so sad. He really thinks Kiyoi shouldn’t be bothered by his family and doesn’t see how Kiyoi takes that as a rejection. And Kiyoi’s reaction was completely understandable. Heartbreaking.

Yeah he’s killing it this season. In fact I find Kiyoi the more sympathetic character now when he seemed more unlikeable in the first season.

Yeah it’s world unto itself that sometimes defies logic, common sense and reality. The tropes are ridiculous, but it’s also part of the charm.

It’s because nobody would act like that in that situation. It’s like in horror movies where they enter the obviously haunted house or where the killer is waiting. That’s why I’m just focusing on the MC. I only care about their romance.

He doesn’t think he deserves to be with Kiyoi or that they can last together and he’s making sure they won’t. Heart breaking.

I am so with you. I can’t get enough of them. Happy, sad, disfunctional and messed up, I’ll watch it all.

My god this episode was intense and sad! Those stupid fans of Kiyoi looking down on Hira, having no idea of their relationship and Hira not thinking he’s any different from them breaks my heart. If he can’t understand and accept Kiyoi’s love, they can’t move forward. I’m so depressed, lol.

I’m so glad they’re following the book. They’re written so beautifully and perfectly that not too many changes are even needed.

Yes thanks. I’m aware of all that and his parents did comment about his singing. My point was he said a few times how he can’t help Gum with the music side of the club, so I found it funny that he could perform, compose a song and play guitar. That’s all.

What I love about BL’s is that Tinn can talk about how he can’t sing, doesn’t know music or play an instrument and then stand up & sing a song from memory in front of an audience out of the blue. Then he composes a song for Gun, sings it for him while playing the guitar and nobody bats an eye. BL logic at its best.
