That wasn’t a dead fish kiss. That was Minato overflowing with longing but being mindful of Yutaka’s feelings……
That is a lovely and optimistic take on the kiss. I still think that if we were to see another kiss from them later in their relationship it would look much the same.
And he’s always taking care of him. It’s clear he loves him.
That is sad to hear. How hard it has been for gay and trans people in Asian counties and still is. Of course some states in the US are passing really discriminatory laws against gay and trans people right now. I have never understood why people care about who someone loves or someone needing to have their exterior match their interior. How does it effect them in any way?
I’m didn’t even think of that when it happened. I also think it’s funny that he’s just not in the ATOTS episodes at all. He can’t be both characters in the crossover after all.
Too true. Mahiro did everything exactly opposite of the way his boss/friend told him to approach things. Had he…
In his mind he took the risk when he told Souta he kissed him. I think he’s been in love with him since high school and he’s convinced there’s no chance. I’m not sure what he expected to happen when he told Souta, but he’s handling it all wrong now.
LOL He’s going to be a tough one for sure. Kicking and screaming and denying all the way into bed.
Hopefully it won’t last the rest of the episodes. I loved the confident way Gawin kissed him compared to the barely pressed together lip presses from SOTUS. It was quite something.
Wow, Ohm has matured. He looks like a man now. I was really hoping they’d set these episodes where the series ended and we’d get to see them be together and the parents finding out about and accepting them. That would have been a great story imo. The crossover is a cute idea though random. Though for me the episode came alive when Earth and Mix joined it. And DAMN do they look good. And now I can’t wait for their episodes, so maybe that was the whole point.
And the preview makes it look like they’re shoving their relationship in Mahiro’s face and that’s a real…
Yeah, the naked scenes have gone WAY down. We’ll have to see where they take this. I’m negatively assuming it will end with a dead fish or camera angle kiss at the end. Maybe Cherry Magic had it right after all with the closing elevator doors fake out kiss. At least we could imagine a better kiss.
Poor Pear. Kawi doesn’t really love her because he doesn’t know her at all. He loves the idea of her. Meanwhile Pisesng’s over there plotting, planning and trying to sweep him off his clueless feet. This show is SO much better than I thought it would be.

I think you’re right. 12 episodes is a long run for a JBL. But generally they haven’t relied too heavily on the typical tropes like some of the Thai/KBL’s do. So it’s disappointing when then they do this kind of thing. I’m hoping Souta turns her down nicely, but don’t think that’s what will happen.
So JY cracked and approached HJ first after being so cold and cruel. What did he expect HJ to do when he told to stay away until he was just his friend again? And now he’s warning off girls that are interested in HJ. So clearly jealous. Like he doesn’t want him, but doesn’t want anyone else to have him. He’s even jealous of his guy friends. He should just tell him what he wants. It’s so obvious. AND CAMERA ANGLE KISSES ARE BULLSHIT.
Brazen Hussy - this was an unnecessary but predictable turn of events
And the preview makes it look like they’re shoving their relationship in Mahiro’s face and that’s a real dick move by them both. Unless Souta is using her to make Mahiro jealous and that even worse because it hurts both her and Mahiro.
Note to Souta: “No” is the wrong answer when you’re asked if you like the guy you’re trying to kiss. I love Ryu-San. He’s a great friend. I get Mahiro not wanting to be hurt, but there are no guarantees even with both people feeling the same. He should try to understand what Souta is going through and give him a chance. He’s afraid they won’t end up together, but he’s making that happen anyway. Why not take the risk in case it works out? Oh god, not the dreaded misunderstanding please. Not the jumping to conclusions trope. Not the take comfort with a girl and torture the other guy trope. Disappointed by this turn of events.
Alas, dead fish were present in the filming of this episode. Sigh. Japan, you break my heart, though the scene with the swings was very sweet. I can’t just forgive the older brother. He’s blaming Yutaka for staying separate from them when he’s the one who rejected him from the get go. He may have tried to be friendly with him, but he then blamed Y for not responding. He was the older kid and should have tried harder and apologized to Y. Maybe it’s their culture, but talking this through years ago would have helped. Love the dad so much. Whether or not he knows, he loves and supports them. Anther beautiful episode.
