MODC was so upsetting! It was totally unnecessary! YNEH was a hard one for me. Beautiful movie and so well acted. The ending made sense for the time period and their cultural reality, but it still makes me sad.

Definitely true. Maybe that’s why I watch BL’s- always hoping for that happy ending. And then I feel so betrayed when it doesn’t happen, lol.

Sure that’s true. This is a BL, so I’m assuming it’s romantic love he feels. There may not be a happy ending, but I don’t think it’s just friendship.

What is it Thai BL’s and the diarrhea gags? At this point I’m only watching it for Title and Suar. They’re the best in their parts for me. I don’t love the triangle with Lomfon, but he’s at least selling his interest.
I do like how the show is dealing with the effects of divorce on the kids when the parents mishandle it. Preview seems like they’re focusing on the correct pairings next week, so there’s that.

Completely. The number of Thai BL’s I watch has gone way down. I’ve been happy to see better KBL’s and hope they continue. JBL’s continue to be the best stories imo but with generally the worst kisses if there are any in the show. I still watch them because they’re different than the rest.

YJ is the master of noncommittal answers isn’t he? He keeps CY hanging and hoping because he’s not clear. It’s cruel. I don’t really get his response to HJ at the end. He must be afraid to admit how he feels, because he clearly loves him beyond friendship. The way he takes care of him shows how much he cares. Let’s see what he does with this confession.

Absolutely. I’ve been happy with how the show has captured the sweetness of the manga. The differences you mentioned don’t affect the story much.
