i actually liked it despite me being so far away from gaming that my dogs can probably relate more. to my surprise i followed the gaming parts fully (this is for anyone staying away from this because its egaming). only gripe - the FL actress. its bearable but after a few episodes you wonder if she needs to invest in some acting classes and maybe some meditation to relax a bit. i admit im a bit xu kai biased so perhaps that gave this show more weight in my eyes

this was ok/nice. i guess the hype comes from the fact that everything is relatively green in this and theyre both very beautiful. it was pretty, story was good, yes there was good chemistry BUT i found this boring and lacking oomph (and i hate stupid misunderstandings/push pull etc). the lack of oomph isnt in the lack of crazy story - just a certain factor missing. not sure what. maybe their build up wasnt convincing enough tbh. just a few elbow brushes and he feels something lol? yea i get shes a ray of sunshine to his dull/difficult life but...i dunno...meh - not enough to sell a big love story. felt the build up while watchable - just not strong enough

worth the watch because of its popularity, and definitely worth the watch if you are tired of the makjang dramas (ie good cleanser) - but dont expect to be wowed if youre not one to fall for fan service. this one is definitely a better cleanser than amidst a snowstorm if youre comparing (cleanser/fan service comparisons).
the game part to me was boring but watchable, the aerospace stuff was actually cool. i liked that side of the story a lot. gave it more charm.
only thing i didnt like is how they tried to make us feel for her unrequited love in high school. err she was a stranger to him and just asked him out...hes not exactly a girl crazy idiot..i didnt feel sorry for her - felt a bit cringey. otherwise definitely recommend for those who want a peaceful calm watch

overall good story and worth watching, but i felt the main leads were completely incompatible and had no chemistry whatsoever. like none at all. not even when just talking. personal opinion but just a forewarning for those who are particular in things like this.

good show. realistic set ups of characters which i appreciated. i kinda wished this had a bigger budget and the chemisty of the main cp was a bit more pronounced. missing out on good kissing scenes when wallace is your ML feels like a crime )). feels petty and immature to write this - but ill blame that on wallace and our expectations of him. plus they built up their tension quite well but then kinda fizzled out on the actual scenes. otherwise good story - worth watching

loved the story/idea. but the romance felt forced - there wasnt much interest from the FL for a long ass time and then boom out of nowhere. i feel this was bai lus fault and not the writing. i feel like she failed the nuances of this character. shes a good actress, but nuances arent her forte - and here they were so desperately required but she failed. didnt care much for the way the FL character was written also. the simping ML trope is getting a little tiring in all these shows (altho this one at least maintained some dignity for a long time). i dont mind a love obsessed one way street ML - but why demean him with cheap pony tricks? cant they make it deeper? i mean hes not a high schooler. hes a man with serious issues, and is now deeply in love to a point of no control - so why demean him to a mere 2 dimensional simp? is that really all the writer is capable of? poor actor - hes brilliant. writing did im duurty

good-ish show but for my taste the FL was a little unbearable and her non stop perfection in everything was a little hard to believe. instead of giving her growth, she remained perfect and everyone else had to grow. Lusi was fantastic in her acting, i just didnt like her character. it had no depth. just a never ending pity party tbh (and undeserving at that). personal opinion obviously. leo did a good job with his character. ending was rushed and boring tbh.

genuinely adorable show. wonderful leads and couple goals. a tad too food focused sometimes (but thats probably a me problem not a show problem). very calming/slice of life. the 2nd FL actually gave me the creep factor - i think this actress needs to take more roles like that - she really makes you hate her just from her glances.

what in the cringe FL is this. good chemistry but man is she one of the most annoying FLs ever. hard to watch tbh. watch if ure into fan service type things and can handle bad character writing, dont watch if you cannot handle stupid FLs.

this was cute. nothing overly special or bad either. worth a one time watch. everyones pretty and the story keeps you engaged till the end. nothing to remember though either. Neo is very beautiful but his "smell the fart" acting needs to be improved. i like zhou ye here, she was quite adorable. riley was cool in this. visuals were pretty but some of the cgi left wanting more (ie dragon).

i loved the coming of age/growing up feel of this. definitely not your typical approach to xianxia . wished the last episodes had more depth and more time for the couple. otherwise im assuming everyone down votes it cuz the ML isnt your typically FL obsessed simp - hes imperfect, makes mistakes, and doesnt start off from the first second simping away to glory ( i personally appreciate that - and im a woman) and the bad guys do win more often for a long time. personally i think Wang an yu did a good job with his role. lusi was adorable as always in this. loved her here too. the second ML actually annoyed the living crap out of me tbh. also some of the extra added characters felt unnecessary (ie the two brother fiasco. felt nothing for them. they took up too much screentime). the 2ndFL wasnt your typically ML obsessed chick either. i appreciated that instead she was more realistically obsessed with power rather than simping. overall good show bogged down by the usual cdrama ending mistakes

overall the show started off as endearingly different. after epsiode 17 it kinda fell into the "rushed" and "bad editing" trap. but id still recommend watching purely because its different and has some lovely undertones. the story is also quite interesting - not your typical romcom. also quite like how they dealt with typical tropes. wished they stayed true to themselves after epsiode 17. leads are likeable. side characters too.

this was quite awful. none of the leads could act. MLs costumes were awful on him. his make up artist seemed to hate him. FLs character was not cool or strong - just annoying and arrogant. their love sprung out of nowhere but cant even be called love. their kissing scenes were just unbearable to watch. story was boring (except MLs story - i would have preferred to see that). FL cannot act at all (at least judging by this drama). ML has the whole "smell the fart" acting down to pat 🤦🏻‍♀️. every episode was very wtf

people commenting she looks like a child because of her height and his height....are you all ok? seriously...height and u all go into pedo comments? yikes...what miserably scared and overly pegged lives you must be living 🤦🏻‍♀️

off the bat on episode 1 - can i compliment this show for actually having an injury worth fussing over that i went "ouch" over when it happened and when we saw the gash (she stepped on a nail). none of these tiny ass papercuts that require almost amputation like reaction in even some of the more mature big budgeted dramas. thank you show

this show has a deep and almost naggy journey on death/separation/aging - and a very shallow main coupling. coolest person with the most depth who you could actually sympathize with was FLs mom. ML - has pretty shallow understanding of guilt (thinking that your dead friend will appreciate you shagging up.with his sister for 7 years while you have clearly stated you want nothing to do with her - is a weird approach as penance. not sure your friend appreciated you begrudgingly taking in his sister like that🤣). also - i get it he has trauma but his abandonment issues are teenager level (boohoo mommy daddy got divorced 'ffs youre 30- and his obsession with his job is a bit of heavy baggage - making him a weak ML who needs a strong FL to give him life in his melancholy existence. instead he is gonna be stuck with a childish princess whos been spoilt stupid since she was young, who uses her trauma as a weapon to never mature (instead of using it to become stronger, or perhaps even having deeper more meaningful trauma). also...he never made any sacrifices for her really - he actively refused to consider Shanghai cuz dead people are more important to.him (i dont care about the philosophical meaning behind it or the noble crap - you want a person who is has a complicated past to settle down in a traditional manner but you yourself refuse to acknowledge the issues that could arise from your depressive job which you have clearly shown you havent dealt with properly yourself)- but she has to move back to a crappy town, filled with memories of misery she really never got over (and once the honeymoon phase is over she will weaponize that shit like a 5 year old) - for a "nice guy"? definitely well shot and i loved all the actors but since this show wanted to be realistic - my interpretation will also be realistic (unlike most cdramas where we turn our brains off and enjoy the show) - i couldnt support these characters. death was too prevalent in such a short format (21 eps) - perhaps.if this was longer and all that misery would be spread out a bit better. the main MC both has too much baggage and need better people for each other (altho i feel FL should remain single. she is too clingy, unintelligent, weak, shallow, and needs a babysitter instead of a partner). overall it was well done as a cast/crew thing - but as far as writing - it tried to be deep but failed and instead brought on something i personally couldnt root for or care for (cept the mom and MLs friend+her beau). definitely not feel good. no deep love really either. great skinship...nice chemistry. thats it

overall meh. too cheesy for the ML actor. kinda stooping low with this one for him. nice couple but again the FL just comes off too cartoonish as do the scenarios. 2ML pathetically unbelievable. 2FL that got paired with him -equally weird.
for those complaining about the kiss scenes - stop misleading people THAT much. yea theyre boring but go watch "a girl like me" first and then comment 🤦🏻‍♀️that page has less complaints than this one and its mind boggling.
wouldnt recommend. not worth any of the time spent unless you absolutely have nothing else to watch

up until epsiode 18 or so - warm show about a cool guy and a cool chick finding love with each other. after episode 18 im not sure why the director replaced the main FL with a wet mop 🤷‍♀️. anyway - still worth the watch for those of us craving for a smooth sailing romance cdrama sans the usual hair pulling tropes that cause us to pop calming pills. we deserve if for all we put up with 🤪.people commenting on lack of story/depth/finding philosophical meaning for their lives - dont - this show is pure fan service and never pretended to be anything else. thanks to the cast and crew for soothing our broken cdrama souls. (altho i still insist post ep18 it becomes quite different and not as fun to watch anymore - yet beggars cant be choosers so i forfeit and quietly watch)
