very cute drama. fluffy filler type. wonderful actors, nothing overtly annoying tbh. nothing memorable either. would def recommend to those going thru an endless "must watch" list. a one time watch for sure. easy enough on the eyes and mind to not care about plot holes/tropes etc. loved the actress. loved the actor even more. hes understated sexy.

err if you think this is a drama free angst free light watch - NO. its definitely angtsy and has you questioning the MLs love for the FL on many occasions - it made sense but i went in this thinking its a typical romcom where everyone is perfectly in love lol. i did enjoy watching this - fun story although i wished the ending was longer and more elaborate. this is definitely slightly more realistic than just your average romcom. i wished their build up was also a bit more elaborate. it would have made a better connection. also - the costumes - the ML needed more and better - everyone else got it - why couldnt he. her decision to shield the 2ML was so weird tbh. not sure why she was so concerned about him to a point of putting herself in danger. made no sense. i actually loved the undertones of this completely lost girl who had zero love for herself - finding this love in a game. yea hes not real but her feelings were - and that made for a very interesting premise. what is love - is it only real when its out of the game? she experienced and felt everything - cant just sweep that kind of thing under the rug. anyway - worth a one time watch. undertones are very different from your normal historicals. low budget so beware - but they did great with what they could
lol i get the need to watch fan service-y things once in a while but this was awkward. gong juns acting here was just awful. as was his styling. story was meh. FL was a bit annoying. i wouldn't recommend this even for just fan service. its really not worth it on any scale. watch if you really are only chasing kissing scenes/skinship (even tho they were delivered so awkwardly here id prefer to ffwd them). do not watch if you require even minimum substance in your shows.
this was trashy. bad writing. bad directing. awful make up. yea ok make out scenes were decent but thats a given in most lou zheng shows. thats it. not worth watching. story isnt engaging at all - and has way too many messy things just for the sake of making it messy and angsty without the depth and story telling.
what i liked in this drama is that unlike most dramas - its fl doing the chasing and simping beyond logic (normally its the MLs who stoop beyond recognition when its not even making sense). that being said - the FL here is cringe as fuck. unlike others who hate the ML being an ass - the writing made me understand his "issues" - and boy did he have many 🤣 but the FL character in her chase was just portrayed a little too cringey. i get the mess with everyones insecurities etc - but i couldnt take the heavy cringe factor of the FL here. definitely overrated. 8.3 is frankly shocking tbh

definitely a classic i guess. not the best or most exciting story but good enough for a recommendation. not sure why everyones harking on about the kiss scenes. yea she just stood there but the ML made up for it in more than enough ways. there are WAY worse scenes (ie fish kisses, barely touching slow mos, etc). its really not even half as bad as these comments make it out to be (pun not intended). plus from the MANY many comments it seems thats how it was in the novel. anyway i personally would recommend as it seems its a staple must watch and you wont be wasting your time exploring this popular show. it didn't blow my mind or left any impression but i dont regret watching it. nothing annoyed me. it delivered what it promised. fun to see some now popular actors in their younger years
loved this cute story. loved their progression. they had wonderful chemistry. i dont agree with those who said Jun cant act. i think he did a wonderful job given the character. my gripes - FL was allowed to be a little too clueless for a bit too long, and the scene progressions were weird. also the FL and her friends scenes and what they were up.to in high school was very boring. the story doesnt really story here. the idea and our 2 mains were the driving force here. . otherwise definitely recommend for those who like youth to growing up dramas. surprised by the steam factor in their kissing scenes.

absolute charmer of a show. such an adorable journey for this adorable couple. definitely worth the high ratings. i prefer this to HL even tho i do like HL as well. this one just has a warmer and more adorable feel. and the couple here is a tad more wonderful - theyre just so meant to be. i love how much they complimented each other. the actors did a fantastic job with their chemistry. i am a grown ass adult but this show still gave me all the warm feels it could. definitely recommend for anyone into youth dramas. big plus - has zero conflict or drama.
