It's a fun article, thank you for sharing you thoughts with us! :D I'm a multifandom fan type 1: when someone asks me about my favourite drama ever, I will answer "The Untamed" even while half asleep :D But because I watched it as it was airing, right from the first episode, and I read the first discussions on tumblr and fanfics on ao3, I am also a bit of a True Blood fan right now ^^
Great article, it makes me want to watch the drama even more now! I didn't know there were trips in the past involved, it sounds interesting to see other time periods! ^^ Thank you for all the warnings. I get emotional very easily while watching dramas, so I'll very probably be crying like crazy while watching it. I'll make sure to keep tissues at hand :)
Thank you for the comment! You've got a very nice Top 3 ^^ I haven't seen Qing Luo nor I Will Never Let You Go,…
Oooh, thank you for coming back with more recs! <3 I started watching SSS, and I agree - ZRY's character reminds me of Fan Xian! But like, a slightly more insane version ;) I must admit I didn't pay any attention to The Wolf Princess when it was airing - but later I noticed some people liking it. Since you're recommending it as well, I'll check it out ^^
Is it okay to be in love with this article itself? Because I think I am :D
Seriously though, it's a great idea and a beautiful execution! Thank you for sharing it with us, especially at the beginning of the year! I've found 2 new titles that I'm definitely gonna try, and I've been also suggested one title that I dropped some time ago - might be an incentive to come back to it! ^^
This is an amazing analysis, thank you for sharing it with us! It makes me want to go and re-watch the entire drama, with these new (for me) points of view (that you presented in this article) in mind :)
Thank you for the comment! You've got a very nice Top 3 ^^ I haven't seen Qing Luo nor I Will Never Let You Go,…
Haha, I understand :) unfortunately, I can't watch dramas this way - I tried it once, and it was still painful. So in general I prefer to just drop such dramas ^^
the funny/more comedic male leads are imo 80% of the time better than the cold ones. You get uncomfortable sometimes…
You're right, sometimes the cold and serious types create the most awkward scenes :) I guess it's hard to tell which type is better, it all depends on our mood and how many dramas with what kind of characters we have watched before ^^ However, I do have a soft spot for every character that acts... normal :D

We simply haven't watched it yet! :)Even if we did, we probably wouldn't include it here anyway, as it seems to…
Okay, as I said in the beginning - the reason why SD1D is not included here is because neither me nor Size15FeetJames have watched it yet. We can't recommend something we haven't seen yet. End of story :)
We welcome all recommendations, though! Thank you for sharing your love for SD1D with us :)
I understand :)Maybe after watching it you'll fall in love with the time loop trope itself ^^Thank your for the…
You're welcome :)
Okay, I'm going to watch TGWLFT movie then :D
Yaaay, Your Name! My favourite tear-jerker :D Seriously though, this movie is really good, and I was floored when I first saw it ^^
I haven't seen the 12 Monkeys, I didn't even know it featured time travel! I'm also not very keen on grim dystopias, but... maybe I'll give it a chance one day :) Thank you for the rec!
Thank you for the comment! And for the recs ^^ I love costume C-dramas, and had no idea there was one with a time…
Ouch, they didn't have to include that last scene... Anyway - there is still much left to see! :D And the drama is short, 4 hours total, so it doesn't require much time and effort :) It's mostly a character piece. So it's good if you like watching character development :)

Yep, there is something comforting about watching "second chance" dramas, as we all wish to get a second chance irl someimes... :)
Steins;gate is amazing! I watched it this year :) the time machine makes no sense :D but the time travel itself, and the consequences of time travel were handled sooo well, better than many high-profile time travel movies and tv series do!
I started watching the dorama "The Girt Who Leapt Through Time" but couldn't really get into it... I think the anime is much better? I'll try the anime one day :)
If you want to watch a drama where the time-loop element actually changes the person and other persons around them, I sincerely recommend "Let Me Off The Earth"! It's not long, the youtube version is just 9 episodes, 50-60 minutes each. Hm, maybe it's not exactly a "lifetime" change, but a three-year period of change...? I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but you may try it :)
One of the best GD time loop for me is the short Netflix series "Russian Doll" you may try it one day, too :D
I also like Bai Jing Ting because of his role in The Rise of Phoenixes! I'd love to see him is a sci-fi drama for a change ^^ Let's hope the story is good!
Somebody was asking about Time loops just the other day and I remembered One More Time. I'll definitely check…

Our article is about a very specific kind of time loop - as we explained it in the first paragraph: the kind of time loop, where the character is stuck and doomed to repeat a certain period of time again and again and again, until they break free of it.
Obviously, not every instance of time travel falls under this category. From reading other people's opinions about SD1D I understood that the time travel/time loop in this drama is of a different kind. That's why I said that we PROBABLY wouldn't include it here, even if we watched it. "Probably" was added because, as you said, until we actually watch the whole drama, we can't be 100% sure :)
In this article we just wanted to share our love for the "Groundhog Day" Time Loop trope. We didn't manage to watch every possible time loop drama yet :)
