was looking for someday or one day in the list, it is best time loop drama to exist
We simply haven't watched it yet! :)
Even if we did, we probably wouldn't include it here anyway, as it seems to feature a different kind of time loop. I don't deny that it's a great drama, though, and I intend to watch it one day :D
Thank you for the recommendation!

Can't wait for Reset because I live Bai Jing Ting^^Your article got me interested in time loop dramas... could…
I'm happy you found something interesting for yourself in our article! ^^

About the dramas I watched:
- the Japanese one, "Ashita mo Kitto Kimi ni Koi wo Suru." has a HE.
- the Korean one, "Let Me Off The Earth" has an open, but hopeful ending - I can't describe it in any other way :D

Don’t know about drama adaptation, but anime of “Erased” was awesome
Thank you for the comment! Erased (both drama and anime) are on my to-watch list, thanks for the recommendation ^^

I was scrolling down to see if Someday or One Day would be in this list but sadly it aint. I usually dont watch…
We simply haven't watched it yet! :)
However, it seems to me that the time loop in SD1D is of a different kind than the one described in our article, so we probably wouldn't include it here anyway :)
It's a good starting point for another article, though ^^

Thank you for the comment and the recommendation :)

Not sure if "Someday or One Day" belongs to this trope.. but I really loved it
We haven't watched it yet, but from reading other people's opinions it seems that it's a different kind of time loop then the one we described in our article :) Anyway - the drama is highly praised, so regardless of the tropes it contains, I'm sure it's worth watching and we'll probably try it someday (or one day... :D)
Thank you for the comment and the recommendation! ^^

Someday or One Day is absolutely fantastic! But I think it falls more under the time travel genre, rather than…
TvTropes is indeed fun, but it also takes a lot of your time, once you start reading it, so be careful and don't go in too deep when you don't have much free time ;)

Yep, we're learning new things all the time! :D I'm glad you've found something new and interesting in our article ^^

I haven't seen any of the others, but I'll watch Reset, just for Bai Jing Ting.
I understand :)
Maybe after watching it you'll fall in love with the time loop trope itself ^^
Thank your for the comment!

Todome No Kiss is a MUST WATCH in this genre! Probably one of the best, if not the best, in this genre.
Thank you for the rec! I've had it on my to-watch list already, but I had no idea it also features a time loop! (it didn't come up in the database when I was searching for the time loop tag...) So now I want to see it even more :D

There are two different kinds of time loops: the first one is the "Groundhog Day" one, as we described it in the article. The second one is the "Stable Time Loop", which is this kind of Moebius loop you've mentioned - events of the past influence the present and vice versa :) I think a good example of such stable time loop is the K-drama "Signal", possibly also "Alice" and, as you mentioned, SD1D :) And yes, in our article we focused only on the first kind of time loop ^^

Thank you for your comments, I'm glad you like this genre as much as we do!
We're also waiting for Reset! I loved BJT in Rise of Phoenixes, and I'll gladly see him in a sci-fi setup ^^

Great article! I watched (and liked) all the dramas you've mentioned except for The Master's Sun - I will try it someday, since you're recommending it and from your article it seems that we have similar tastes ^^

I could literally put my signature under what you wrote about your experience with The School Nurse Files - I agree with everything and felt basically the same way while watching it :D

My recommendations for quirky k-dramas suitable for binge-watching would be: The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim (Viki original), Delivery (available on youtube; apparently people either love it or hate it - I loved it :D), Shadow Beauty (Viki original, still airing, but all the episodes so far have been really good!), and Handmade Love (also available on youtube) :)

Nice and interesting article!

You mentioned many issues that make me angry while watching dramas :D Controlling and abusive parents and partners, characters not talking to each other but making decisions for each other, everything that happened to Yoon Jong Woo in Strangers from Hell (although it's also what I loved about this drama, in a way... :P), WASTED POTENTIAL of dramas (I'm looking at you, Jirisan & DAYS), bribery & hypocrisy & snobbery & everything that's going on in Melancholia right now (although again it's also what I love about this drama ^^)...

PS. Writing this short comment felt really freeing to me, so I can only imagine how good it must have felt for you to let your anger out like that ^^

Yes, the artwork had a rabid fan-base back in the days. I would say it's heavily inspired by xxx Holic in styling,…
Thank you for the links! I'll gladly take a look at them ^^
Well... time flies for all of us :D but I think there is something cool about playing more mature and steady characters, too! :)

Wow, this article is so good!
I've known nothing about this manhwa before, neither have I seen the k-drama. But now I want to read the manhwa (the artwork is so beautiful!) and see this xianxia-style adaptation :D You've made good arguments why it should work as a xianxia drama.

Also - I applaud the casting choices! I'm not familiar with some of the young actors, but the older generation? - all of them are great, and my faves ^^

Hehe, thanks 🥰.I watched quite a lot romance dramas.^^ Plus, I get annoyed easily at SLs. xDOmg, sounds frustrating.…
It was a c-drama "Granting You a Dreamlike Life" (set mainly in the Republic of China period). I watched it only because Zhu Yilong was in it, and his excellent acting was basically saving this production :D I dropped it when things started to go badly for the main characters, though... I decided that I'd had enough of the melodrama already ^^
