But you’ll see the shift in dynamic between the FL & her dad. It's highlighted in the show because of her close relationship with her dad, who she lives with & he always cooks for her - but other than that she's capable of doing things on her own. She just has her own way of approaching things.
This and Link are my favorite airing dramas (I’ve only watched 1 episode of Alchemy of Souls)
EAW is currently my to-go-to kdrama. ✨
I haven’t watched Link but I’ve seen AOS. AOS is enjoyable. The acting is fine but the set up & story is interesting. Fight scenes is really neat. Haven’t caught up to the latest ep yet. The comment section was a mess when I started the show so hopefully it’s fine now lol.
The problem with the show is- it revealed it’s hands of cards to early & the mystery is gone and now it’s…
Right.
Even the reveal of SJ past relationship with the Choi family was kind of lame - too makjang 😒 It’s almost 10 Ep & still no progression on the revenge stuff. Everything is hindered on trying to figure out what happened to PSY & cracking the usb drive. They’re just dragging this subplot. My biggest gripe is that there’s NO character development.
Who Gong Chan really is should have already been revealed and getting to the bottom of who framed him should already…
The problem with the show is- it revealed it’s hands of cards to early & the mystery is gone and now it’s just a waiting game to see shitty people go to jail. Even the revenge plot is half baked. And the romance is meh. 🤷♀️
The key underlying issues of the case in this episode - 1. An immature, low self esteem daughter, pairing with…
Them getting married & divorcing would be a whole different case lol.
But like I mentioned above which you said too, the case in this episode wanted to highlight the idea of ‘independence’ from parents- not just with the bride but also with WYW - When she decides to speak to JH about whales (not just to her father) & buying her dad food (since he always cooked for her).
So The Lesbian thing in episode two .,, Why ?? What is the connection between falling dress in her wedding and…
She really isn’t a liar. Well she did lie to her father but it’s understandable why she did. She had to keep it a secret because she wasnt ready to come out yet & she comes from a chaebol conservative Christian family that’s restrictive. There are people who do practice multiple religion but in this case the bride had to keep it a secret (being Buddhist). This episode emphasized the idea of “psychological independence” from parents. That’s why she came clean-open in the end.
Law is a bit complicated lol. In the states you can practically sue someone for pretty much anything & still win (depending on situation). Not sure how it works in SK. Also, the groom didn’t seem like he’s remotely interested in marriage either.
About the connection. Because she saw her GF on the other side & then the groom grabbed her hand - Then she stepped on the dress which caused a malfunction - caused the scandal which caused the both dads to get upset (both parties could not come to an agreement)- Which halted the wedding - thus the bride’s father wanted to sue for for destruction-damages. The bride’s party wanted to file a lawsuit to get compensation - since it was held at grooms hotel venue. The groom’s party technically was at fault for the dress.

I’m rooting for Young Woo all the way! ✨✨✨
