Still UBS? I can't place the exact timeline but the after credit scene said he had not logged into the system…
I’m meant in 2021? Where is he since there’s no video or news report from him since 2009. And also, MC would have seen him on tv.
On Twenty Five Twenty One Apr 3, 2022
So where is YJ after 2009? Because MC does not know who he is even though SJK saw him last month? So is still an anchor because MC would have saw him on TV.
Replying to ethyria Apr 3, 2022
hee do broke up with him because of him not being present and then ended up marrying a man who is absent for months...make…
And she also surrounds herself with things that is a resemblance of YJ since 2009 🤔😒.

I feel like their break up was foreshadowed the whole time. At the end they broke up because he could not make…
Yeah I knew a breakup was coming but I’m speaking from all their development & progression as characters since we all know how deeply they care for eachother even before they became romantic.

I agree and disagree with various points but overall, I think they had lost their ability to communicate and understand…
But that’s what I’m saying though. That they’ve shown us before how they got through tough times even before they were in a relationship. Would have made sense to have them fight for it & work it out at least once because how deeply they loved each other for their from character development & progression throughout the show. Everything happen in 1 ep & in time skip, so just feels contrived given from previous 15 ep between them.

As much as I love Yi-Jin, i hate his primary reflex to difficult situations and crises as 1.Tendency to Mope (post…
It’s not the characters.

It’s the writer. She putting them in situation where we already know that they can get through it because of the character growth they’ve gone through & shown us.
On Twenty Five Twenty One Apr 3, 2022
Honestly the conflict between HD & YJ could be easily resolved by communication. The writing has shown us how well they were able to be communicate & understand each other even through conflict & differences before they were far apart & not even in love yet (from past episodes) but now they are in love they can’t? They have cellphones & computers now. Before, HD & YJ spoke to each other through phone booths.

HD & YJ had a very strong bond, even before a romantic one. I would understand the breakup more of they had HD & YJ tried at least one more time fight for their love & say ‘hey maybe this isn’t working out’ instead ignoring the issues & letting go. It would have shown the depth of their characters. But fast forward it shows that they have lingering feelings in limbo even in 2009 & after. 😒🙃 would have liked to see adult YJ & show that he eventually moved on. Also, the ‘first love narrative’ is so shoehorned with YJ. It does not work with him.

Why everyone assumes that she didnt marry BYJ??? Nothing was confirmed to me
Because MC does not know who he is.

I think I would be ok with even this ending if they didn’t make her get married and have a child before her…
Yeah it didn’t make sense to me.

It’s like she’s very much indeed hung up on those memories. Like she never moved on after 2009?
It’s not even a bittersweet end.
Just a leftover sour taste.

That’s why I think the framing of things feels off lol & ironic. So HD is living her life in a comedy lol 😒🙃
Yeah.

Like a clean slate but the writer is doing to much with the whole ‘first love’ narrative in the epilogue & the tunnel breakup scene with HD & her journal. Lol.

I have to watch them break up 3 times.

I don't think anyone is blamingthem. I think people aremoreso pressed at the writerputting them in situation that'sfeels…
Ahhh okay. Yeah no one is at fault. I have issue with the writer not the characters.

I just want to say they broke up because of the implications of their jobs for their relationship, not their first…

Playing the blame game on their break up was not the point of it. Yes, Yijin fucked up but he was the one who…

them. I think people are
moreso pressed at the writer
putting them in situation that's
feels a bit shoehorned in the
last two ep. given their
character development.

The fact that the rating reached this high on the more lackluster ep.
Ep 1-8 deserves high rating. It’s literally a perfect 10 to me and should’ve been 15%.
On Twenty Five Twenty One Apr 3, 2022
If you want a more poignant and
beautifully executed end that is
actually bittersweet, just watch My
Mister.

Pretty much have similar essence as 2521 (just without the romance & realistic) & the two leads got to see each other at the end.

If i were Mr Kim i will feel so scammed because...1. HD named her workshop 2521.. after her and her ex's relationship2.…
Yeah the framing of things just feels odd.

It just felt like the writer wanted them not be together more than the characters itself. Lol
I mean they even cried at their breakup & hugging.

Kdrama is gonna kdrama.

I love the break up scene at the bus stop. It’s actually the best part of ep 16. I just thought everything else…
I didn’t even talk
about HD & YJ?

Im talking about this last ep, not the drama as a whole. Why are you so hung up on my opinion. If you like it cool, doesn’t mean I have to.

I’m talking about the execution, overall presentation.

Yes we are watching the same drama. I just have a different opinion on it.
