People forgetting that HD & Yurim are teen girls? Like it’s fine if you don’t like them as character but they act the way they do due to their environment & social standing. It’s clearly intentional from the writer.

Her over-confidence is to compensate the lack of support she has. I don’t see it as a character flaw. HD is impulsive and rash sometimes but it makes sense since she’s a teenager that doesn’t know how the world works yet.

I’m really impressed how the main leads are written too. They have depth to them than most romcoms. It helps that it doesn’t read like a rom/com but more like a slice of life/youth drama.

But she’s not though? She’s a teen girl going through waves of emotions. Her mom doesn’t even pay attention to her that’s why she’s a ball of spit fire.

I love that she collects stickers & journal her thoughts. Typical teenage energy.

Same. I don’t like romance all that much. I think it works here more convincingly because of the development between the leads, heck they aren’t even in love yet.

I wouldn’t say HD is full of herself. More like confidence. I mean if everyone around me is always thinking I’m not good enough, then you got lift yourself up.

The rewind play back scene where HD draws clothes on the poster lady is such clean editing. In YJ mind, HD is like his light source. Bright & happy. In juxtaposition where he is now, which is alone & dark and a bit gloomy. She is sort of like his happy pill.

YJ will tease the daylights out of her lol.

Usually in other kdramas it’s a simple ‘I like you’ moment or want to be with you but HD is like I WANT YOU in very adamant-gung ho way 🤣🤣🤣.

I still can’t get over HD “ I HAVE TO HAVE YOU” moment. She really said that with her whole chest 😂. YJ must’ve been very shocked. I don’t think he’s ever gotten that kind of confession. Oh boy, she definitely is one of a kind as YJ said.

They are “more than friends less than lovers” Their bond is very strong.

Although from HD, she might be confused since she’s still young & inexperienced at love.
