Please can you elaborate when you feel she is miscast or her looks don't fit? What do you actually mean by that? Do you mean she is not beautiful enough or her acting is not good? I feel the exact opposite.. I cannot imagine anyone else playing the role of song yi meng better than her! I'm not sure if you feel cringe comedy is easy to portray, but I think no one else could have done a better job at that role. It's also interesting that you've never watched a li yi tong drama, she's been in the industry for long . I've always liked her and started watching ADWAD for her. Her visuals are insane in ADWAD, she is just so gorgeous, and coupled with her cute outgoing personality and outrageous behavior, I can totally imagine nan Heng completely obsessed with SYM, and why he kept chasing her. After seeing all the BTS and interviews, it looks like her personality is very much similar to SYM outgoing extroverted personality and hence seems well suited to the role. I'm really happy she's finally getting some recognition in this drama. Looking forward to her future works, especially sword and beloved.

Honestly, I think she stops hating him early on in the series! She understand that nan Heng has a sad back story. She doesn't hate him but she doesn't love him either because she believes that the script will kill her family if she gets together with him. Nan Heng literally begs her from episode 21 to 32 convincing her that he loves her truly.

I'm not in that category, I love the FL! She is funny, sassy and absolutely gorgeous!! Everything she does has a reason to it, but I do believe in the next 10 episodes she will shower our ML with lots of love in return for all his love!

You're actually right! Her words were unnecessarily harsh and now I think about it, I think she said it on purpose just to drive him away from her and her family as she genuinely believes her family will die because of him! She is doing it to protect her family and for nan Heng benefit too.
