Title Word of Honor Spoiler
I have a question about a line Zhou Zi Shu says twice: I'm going to put it in a reply to this, as a spoiler
So, in episode 12 when he's talking and drinking with WKX, Zhou Zi Shu says: "A bad guy can be forgiven by God if he puts down the sword." - at least, that's what the subs say, and I've taken a screenshot of the line in Chinese which I could transcribe but it'll take me a while, heh.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure he repeats it somewhere else, too.
What I wanted to know is this: is it a quote, or a saying, or is it something Priest made up?

ETA - managed to transcribe it and this is the result:
坏人放下屠刀可立地成佛
Also googled it and all the results were from the tv show, heh. Am starting to think it's only from there, heh.

It's been clear that it's a plan, also with other BL dramas, and the fans are often being blamed for it. Think…
Yes, that's really horrible - I was spoiled for Gu Xiang's death so I knew she wasn't going to survive the end, but not how it happened.
The thing is, apparently Book! Wen Ke Xing was more morally gray than the one in the series - and this bit: Gu Xiang dying in his arms on her wedding day, was what was needed for him to turn towards the light, unlike in the show, where he kind of became a good person before.
I guess the showrunners could have taken it out of the series, but then the book fans might have been angry? Also, maybe they were trying to distract the censorship people with extra tragedy, so they wouldn't notice all the gay, heh.

I'll have a look at Legend of Exorcism!
The thing about Scumbag System is that it's so funny! The first 5 minutes are a high speed summary of the so-called 'stallion novel' and they are hilarious!

That's so true! There's also a donghua called 'Thousand Autumns' (based on a BL novel of the same name) - I've watched the first season and it's pretty good, heavily censored though. Also Scumbag System, based on MXTX's The Scumvillain's Self-saving system. They're both 3-D animation but quite good, and Scumbag System's second season trailer just dropped.

HAHA, on the Tencent Community tab on youtube there's a new calendar post, and among all the drooling over you are my glory, there's a few of us clowns, begging for HYX! I added my voice to, saying that I'm not watching anything before they show Immortality - rofl I know, I know.
And anyway, I'm not lying - I've got a WETV subscription and am watching the MDZS donghua there. Also, once it's over, I'm done with that, too - UNLESS.

I JUST WANTED TO VENT FOR A BIT AND IF YOU GUYS THINK THAT I AM STARTING FANWARS OR SPREADING HATE I WILL DELETE…
I love and will always love The Untamed. I can't say the same about some of the fans.
However, I think the real problem is not any fanbase of any show - the real problem are people behind the scenes (coughcensorshipboardcough) who are trying to destroy every successful BL production, as soon as it becomes popular. It's like, they try to hurt it before it's released, even cutting the ending in some places, and then, when that doesn't work, it's time for the scandal-mongers to do their work.
I wish we as fans wouldn't get caught up in this and fooled by people with a homophobic agenda (I've seen HYX fans on twitter saying they're happy about what's happening to WoH right now, and that's messed up) - as fans of BL, we should be united against the common enemy, and not fight amongst ourselves.

The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty is very good - it stars Darren Chen, Fu Meng Bo and Liu Yao Yuan in the main roles. It's based on a BL novel called Chenghua Shisi Nian (In the 14th year of Chenghua) and I really, really enjoyed it. It's a kind of detective story (with lots of wuxia additions) and it has a happy ending.

can anyone tell me the ending T_T I can’t pay for the bonus ep, what happened to them?? did wkx and zzs survive…
If you google a bit you'll be able to download it from other sources, but here goes:
We open on a young boy practicing the sword form on a snowy mountain with a sort of plateau above him. Then we see there is Zhou Xu on the plateau giving him a critique - he's dressed in all white robes (this implies he's an immortal now, like Ye Bai Yi). He's being his usual overly critical self.
Suddenly we hear a voice from behind him, saying "Not right."
Out of the sunlight comes Wen Ke Xing with white hair, wearing a dark blue outer robe over white robes. He comments on Zhou Xu's teaching style, they exchange about a billion intense smiles, they fly off to 'fight' and fly back again.
The boy is joined by his dad, (I think it's Deng Kuan) who reassures him that they've been 'fighting' since they met, and who knows when immortals will stop fighting?
We're back to Lao Wen and A-Xu, once again 'fighting' and exchanging serene and cheeky smiles. THE END.

And this was the intended ending, it just didn't pass the last round of censorship. Even the cast didn't know about this until it started airing.

In Episode 17, Cao Weining tells Gu Xiang about a dream he had, in which he died and decided to wait for her at the Naihe Bridge, and thought that he would have to wait 60 or 70 years - but instead she comes to him very quickly and she's still the same age, and he's horrified that she died on the same day.
And this is exactly what happens to them - it's in one of the extra chapters! I love (and hate? yeah) that the screenwriter managed to put it in the screenplay as a little bit of foreshadowing and a hint towards the only happy ending they can have (sobbing).

Ok..I say I will still stay away from YouTube, but I just saw Marcus Sim weekly video and in one part he talk…
It's been clear that it's a plan, also with other BL dramas, and the fans are often being blamed for it. Think about it - yeah, I'm making a list!
- Love is more than a Word (2016?): the show butchered until it makes no sense, cancelled after one season: based on a BL and contains a gay wedding
- Guardian (2018): all aspects of the story harmed, pretty sure the main characters are apart at the end, whole meaning of ending maimed
-The Untamed (2019): it wasn't enough that the ending was changed so that instead of staying and living with Lan Zhan in Cloud Recesses, Wei Ying wanders off and has a reunion with LZ a second before we cut to black for the end credits. No, we also had to manufacture a controversy, in which Xiao Zhan and his fans were sort of blamed for AO3 (the second biggest fanfiction site) being banned in China, even though there was a list, months before, of sites which were going to be banned in China, and AO3 was one of them.
-WoH: first we have what happened while the show was airing, with the censorship board changing lines in the dubbing (Avenue X did a great job of showing which lines had been changed, through lip-reading), and absolutely massacring the ending, with fans having to seek out an extra 4 minutes which tell us what happened to the lead characters (and no, those 4 minutes were not suggestive or explicit or ANYTHING).
But it wasn't enough - it has millions of views per episode on youtube, for example. So here comes the latest scandal.
I'm not saying ZZH didn't do a stupid thing. But it's suspicios that this happened years ago and it's taken a few days to crush the poor guy, while someone who's been known to be a rapist for years has only now been arrested, with none of the shock and horror that's been reserved for being stupid on social media.
At this point, thinking of other, upcoming BL dramas, I almost hope only the fans watch them.

So far the Eng version is still available on Youku but its behind a paywall.
I followed sony_t's link and they're right - it's still up , if you go to it that way. I don't have the youku app, I'm just on a browser. But when I tried to search 'word of honor' and click on a link, I didn't manage.
So basically, keep watching it on youtube - I'm doing that occasionally to raise the views. I mean, is it that youku can't remove it from youtube or what? Because they'd be really stupid to take it down from there - it has millions of views per episode.

That's a good idea - to just let himself be humiliated in other, non-sexual ways, haha. I guess we have to substitute every "and then he railed CWN into the ground" with "and then he made CWN play a particularly tricky passage on the guqin".
The problem with this, and I forgot to mention it in the question you were asking about the explicit stuff, is that it kind of is an imp. plot point that Mo Ran hears CWN playing the guqin and remembers that when CWN played it and TXJ happened to hear him, TXJ brutally raped him in a courtyard .
It's kind of the first time Mo Ran starts regretting what he did to CWN and wonders what he was thinking.
Oh, well. Maybe it'll be that whenever the book said rape, the screenplay will be 'beat the crap out of him'.

I have a question about one of the explicit parts in the novel - I'm going to put it in spoiler space in a reply.
Basically, it's about the first one - that is, when Taxian Jun has Chu Wanning prisoner and in chains and tells him that he has Xue Meng and he'll kill him unless Chu Wanning has sex with him. Now I know that all the explicit parts will be censored out, and even the whole 'you will be my concubine' business is apparently being replaced with you'll be my musician or something, but how are the stakes going to be as high?
Example dialogue:
TXJ: haha you are my prisoner now! I will kill Xue Meng unless you play the guqin for me EVERY DAY!!
CWN: Ok? I guess?
