I don’t think Park Jin not able to recognize Naksu’s face is a plothole as some might claim. It makes sense because whenever they’re in battle, it’s quite a distant because they had been using their powers to attack and defense. Naksu was known as the shadow assassin that people didn’t even know how she looks like. By the time Park Jin and other mages got to see her face, her body is dead without her soul and they burned it. The last battle that they had was probably 4-5 years ago and a lot of things had happened within that period. In their minds, Naksu’s body was burned and Naksu in MuDeok’s body is dead. Since Lady Jin said that she’s Jin Bu Yeon and with her eyes could see energy, of course it would take some time for them to connect the dots if they could connect it. If they don’t, I won’t be disappointed because it’s normal to forget someone’s face after a long time. Jin Mu was more suspicious because he interacted with Naksu a lot so he saw her face multiple times compared to other mages who only saw her closed up face for once before they burned her body

Her body is built differently as it’s Bu Yeon’s body figure and current timeline is already past 3 years from the ice stone event in part1. Probably the time they burnt Naksu was like 4-5 years ago and a lot of things were happening. I don’t think they’d remember her face clearly as her body is already dead by then. Even if they do recognize her later on, of course it’d take some time to connect the dots

I’m surprised that this drama has low rating when I actually enjoyed it. Maybe I wasn’t really invested with the love triangle, but more towards their bonding as Theia and how they trained for festivals or events. It’s actually quite interesting

To be honest, me too. I’ve rewatched that few times, it seems contradict when he said her body doesn’t have divine power, but he also said if she got back her power, the memory will return as well. It might be lost in translation or perhaps they also don’t know what would happen, so Master Lee is just observing and the possibility is still there?

I think they don’t. It’s quite far, if they do, they would be surprised if Bu Yeon said she couldn’t do it, but they just stared at them confused

I take that Master Lee is a neutral person, he’s not siding with anyone but likes to observe and see how things going naturally with the prophecy of King’s star and Ice Stone. Technically, the body is Bu Yeon and Bu Yeon was the one unleashed the ice stone which is now trapped in Uk’s body. He was just following Lady Jin’s request because she’s the mother of the body (Bu Yeon) who is supposed to have the divine power.

I think for your 1st question, it’s already answered in part 1. When Naksu wanted to do AOS to save herself from dying, MuDeok/Bu Yeon was there and because of her strong divine power, Bu Yeon managed to suck Naksu’s soul into her body.

I don’t think it’s the end of Bu Yeon. I think her divine powers are still there, but it’ll be a struggle once her power is unleashed and Naksu’s memory is back. Which is why Master Lee was asking Lady Jin if she’s ready for that. Technically the body is still Bu Yeon’s and for some reason, it’s portrayed in the story that Jin’s blood is strong which is why they’re the lead family to take care of the relics

Yes the resemblance is there! I keep on noticing this is the Mu Deok we know although the face is different.

I have already rewatched ep 1 and 2, but it’s only Monday…5 days to go to ep 3.
