I love watching their bts because it always looks like they’re having fun filming together and whenever it’s NG or cut, they’d just burst out laughing.

They’re so chaotic and loud 😆😆 I love it when Hyeon said so shiny and went on taking her photos and then Huiju playing around giving him finger hearts when he dodged it.

I just love the chaotic duo Huiju & Hyeon 😆😆 they’re so funny. When Huiju gave him finger hearts and he’s dodging it, Yi An actually tried to receive it hahaha

Yi An knows Huiju is so dramatic and cringe at times, but even when he sometimes making weird face looking at Huiju, he still smiles and accepts her as she is 😆😆

I know you had your explanation from the drama itself but when we watched this, someone pointed out that Naksu’s original body in S1 ep 1 was more muscular and her shoulder was slightly wider as she was trained to be assassin. That’s why when Naksu’s soul entered Mudeok/BY body, she’s weak in S1. Then because she still in BY’s body in S2, just that her face changed into the shape of her soul, she has smaller body similar to Mudeok, and those mages didn’t really recognize her as Naksu because of her different body size. But yes, the suspension of disbelief is required

They don’t make kdramas like this anymore. 😭 I remember when it first released, some people were confused because it’s not your typical average kdrama, but the plot and storyline just get better and better to the point that it’s phenomenal. It’s kinda experimental drama when Netflix releases this. All the casts did splendid job!

It hurts when they recast for S2 when Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won didn’t return for S2. Lee Joon Gi is great and he’s king of costume drama, but SJK as SaYa and Eun Seom hits different, especially SaYa like that level of cunning and scheming, only SJK could nail SaYa’s complex character. LJG nailed perfectly for Eun Seom as he could aura farming for Eun Seom character just like he always did.

But Shin Se Kyung as replacement for Tanya is a huge mistake from the production team. We could see the difference in gap between KJW and SSK. SSK didn’t have the same level of elegance as KJW and Tanya’s character in S2 is supposed to be even more elegant and noble. I remember having chills when KJW did the ritual dance.

The shock face Yi An made when he was hit by pillow is hilarious 😆😆 That scene is kinda funny, sweet and sad at the same time. Huiju’s teary eyed show us how much she loves Yi An and couldn’t bear the thought of losing him as well.

I love how she also slowly opens up to him when she gives him a little kiss on his cheek assuring him that she’s alive. They are already comfortable with each other that snuggling on bed feels natural to them.

what if it’s intentional to reveal the contract and it’s part of grand prince’s plan? Idk it seems weird that he put it in the safe box and someone could get a hold of it easily? And only reveal the contract but not the late King’s edict?

I heard they called Huiju as Daegun bu-in (Manim) as in Grand Prince’s lady/wife? Is that her official title? I thought she would be Pubuin (Manim) as in Grand Princess Consort.

I don’t want to acknowledge Huiju’s dad love towards her but I think he still cares about her when he asked Dayeong to find someone in palace that can be a help for Huiju. Yes, he’s a bad father but I guess it’s just all misunderstanding that he sees Huiju as ambitious and greedy when all she wanted is his affection and attention. Huiju won all the competition and achievements to get her dad’s attention but he sees it as she’s an overachiever and arrogant who doesn’t know how to stop climbing up. I don’t think her dad is the kind of chairman who is obsessed with his business because otherwise he would be mad at his own incompetent son. I also noticed that he didn’t even ask Huiju to give her shares to Taejoo when they got the blessing from the Majesty and royal decree. That somehow shows that he’s not after Huiju’s business and company.

I guess he’s kinda against this royal marriage because he knows the palace is not a good place and he doesn’t want Huiju to be caught up with the royal dispute.

he’s been pmo since ep 4 when he third wheeling and touched Huiju in front of Yi An when he asked for a meal together.

I’m glad that they’re making Taejoo and Dayeong just a dumb couple who supports our royal couple. Huiju and Taejoo love-hate sibling relationship is kinda cute, lol. At least they’re not straight up hating each other to the point of betrayal, sabotage or killing each other like other chaebols drama we’ve seen when fighting for the heir.

The question that Grand Prince Yi An threw to Prime Minister Min’s face during epilogue…ahh it hits the nail on the head, it’s so spot on. 🙌🏻
