I agree on the most part, but about their relationship i doubt he believes it's real. In the trailer he asks her…
Even if he doubts it’s real, who is he to judge when both of them declare that they’re together and in thinking of marriage? He had years before this to court her, but he didn’t. Only now when she’s thinking of marrying Grand Prince suddenly made him pursuing her too.

Rewatched ep 4, only now I find that Prime Minister Min third wheeling the royal couple date is kinda annoying and disrespectful. I was too busy focusing on Yi An & Hui Ju before this.

When he touched Hui Ju in front of Yi An and asked her out for dinner, like dude, they already declared that they’re together though there’s no statement about marriage, aren’t they still considered as boyfriend and girlfriend? Hui Ju is Grand Prince Yi An’s gf at this point. And Hui Ju also already told him that she likes waking up next to Grand Prince and she wants to see him every day. Purposedly going to the raw seafood restaurant and trying to show her the restrictions of royal family and blantly said to her that she should reconsider, in front of the Grand Prince? And we all know in the next preview he’s asking her for marriage. Gosh, don’t pmo

I can’t get over the baseball scene especially during the kiss cam. They look so good together and cute. If I were the audience or someone watching the kiss camera video online, I would see how they make a cute happy couple that you can’t help but rooting for them. The way he’s whispering onto her ear and then she put out the sign and he laughed out loud because she’s being cute and cheeky about it. I’m still giggling and kicking my feet watching this scene

What is the Queen and Jin Mu’s (hee!) endgame to get in the way of Ian and Hui Ju having a relationship? Isn’t…
They want someone who they can control as Yi An’s wife. They don’t like the scandal and risks with possibilities:
- Further support from the nation as it could be the first time royal family married a commoner, making him having more influence
- Hui Ju has money to support him to ascend the throne as the Crown is tight with budget
- The scandal may cause people to think it is unnecessary to keep the monarch as they didn’t uphold their dignity and maintain decorum.
If they remove him from royal title after he marries a commoner, it’s also a risk for them of abolishing the whole monarch as the young King is not yet fitted to rule the country.

Why are people questioning the airbag didn’t pop up at the end? Um, if the intention is to kill her by deliberately hacking her car’s brake into accelerating, don’t you think that person would also make sure that she got into car crash and not survive it? So they might also remove the airbag. We all know it’s likely to be Jin Mu’s doing and he’s not scared to cover it up because a businesswoman like Hui Ju has so many enemies, so even if investigation shows it’s a ‘murder’, it’s hard to find the culprit

That was quite a ride. My understanding is that Seoul is quite hilly, so why not find a road with a steep incline…
I think from physics logic, what she did made more sense to reduce the acceleration. Seoul is quite hilly for residential area, and I think normal road and the city centre still pretty much flat and it seems like they’re in the city area.

Wouldn't that car have a manual transmission? I expected her to pop the clutch and take it out of gear. Also,…
We can see her car accelerated when she pressed the brake paddle so I think they hacked it so that the car accelerates further and she couldn’t brake at all. I don’t think it’s controlled by remote or anything.

It was in the epilogue, right? Something about “He Must maintain Decorum”
Yup, even on the episode itself it translated into “must maintain decorum”. I can read hangul so I know the last word is issue, but don’t know what chetong means.

Dignity issues
Okay I used DeepL translation (found it randomly) and it translated 체통 as dignity. Google and translate.com translated it as body pain & body ache 😅 I was so confused

"Decorum issue"체통 (chetong) means "decorum"... It's a Sino-Korean word (derived from Chinese…
thank you, so Google Translate is wrong 😆😆I was so confused when I searched about it. I know the last word is issue when I read it.

Anyone knows the literal meaning of the words Hui Ju display on her phone during the fancam? I tried to translate it: 체통이슈 but google translate shows as body pain issue? Or there is a double meaning of the word 체통?

So we all gonna call the queen mother’s dad Jin Mu. Yes we all see him as Jin Mu only and I also didn’t really remember his character name in this drama 😂

Getting more and more interested in how the drama would end. I don't think the boy king would be happy keeping…
I have a feeling that they would go for this route for the ending 😅

When Yi An gave Hui Ju the raw fish and told her to enjoy it before the royal marriage…it’s sweet but kinda sad that he has so many constraints and his expression seemed to show he feels bad about it that Hui Ju might have a lot of restrictions too after this.

I think I only saw that rule on historical drama during Goguryeo time not during Joseon dynasty. That rule is…
might be her or her dad because late King wanted to descend from the throne and give it to Yi An before his fire accident

so, i was thinking that the rule was if the king dies, the queen should marry the brother. also, the prince should…
I think I only saw that rule on historical drama during Goguryeo time not during Joseon dynasty. That rule is only valid when the King died without heir. Usually, Queen Dowager had more power as regent if the emperor is still a child, but I guess because it’s 21st century, they have modern ministers who might decide that Grand Prince made more sense to be Regent compared to the Queen Dowager.

Title Perfect Crown Spoiler
Respect to Hui Ju for still knowing boundaries and upholding dignity when she’s not kissing Yi An during the kiss cam though Yi An did give her the opportunity. She knows it would cause uproar to the royal family and Yi An would be in trouble if the video of them kissing in public go viral. She did want to speed things up, but she still knows when to handle a brake.
