Wait, Ji Bozai’s yard is the same as Gong Ziyu’s yard from MJTY? I just noticed this since I’m rewatching MJTY for my girl, Lu Yu Xiao.

Ji Bozai’s gaze towards Ming Yi is still the same, full of love, affection and admiration.

Probably that he didn’t really know about the petals being her lifeline as he didn’t have the petals to begin with since only those born with spiritual vein would have the petals pattern, and those who didn’t would only have the orange roots like how JBZ had on his wrist. He also didn’t know that she only had 1 month to live. I just hope someone would tell him, maybe Zhang Tai, to knock some sense into him.

My guess is that he would give her GMD in scallion pancake just like in the novel. It’s on the still photo preview for ep 26. 🤞🏻

During the illusion realm, he was already unconscious so he didn’t notice that the exit was already closed. And they could potentially go out when Xun Ming was distracted when he’s still mad about the truth because Ming Yi didn’t kill him and it’s MQB who killed him, so it’s believable that they just escaped. Regarding removing the seed and helping Buxiu, by this time he already knows that she has spiritual vein so she can help him. It’s nothing to do if someone is a warrior or not.

He didn’t know that Ming Xian or Ming Yi herself is poisoned by Heavenly Grief. Since it was never occurred to him that Ming Yi is powerful and was a God Warrior, he just thought that Ming Yi is just a fairy with spiritual veins that know spells because she grew up and bethroted to powerful God Warrior. He thought that her spiritual power is still limited which we know the reason it’s due to the poison, but to him, it could just because she’s a fairy not a warrior. So whenever she seems weakened after graft spell or heartbond array, he would just thought that she over exerted her power so it took a toll on her body that’s why she needed rest after that.

Not everything is sunshine, beautiful and rainbow that it could be fairly distributed to everyone. When it falls to wrong person, it will cause chaos and destruction. Heavenly Grief itself is a poison, and you could see how powerful people are greedy and use slaves to make it and they don’t care what happened to those people.

No, he doesn’t really have many opportunities to connect the dots because Ming Yi’s lies are matched with the situation. Ming Yi always hide her wrist and the only time he could potentially see it when he found her in the forest, but he didn’t because they already “broke up” so probably he doesn’t want to impose. The other times, 27 always healed her to spiritual vein before JBZ could see what’s wrong with her.

And how could he possibly know before this when the circumstances matched with Ming Yi’s lies and they never had a match/fight with each other for him to notice the warrior side of Ming Yi? He got to know now because of the offense weapon because only those who’s experience in battle would know how to craft offense weapon. The umbrellas before this was a defense weapon which if Ming Yi said he learned from Ming Xian, it’s still believable.

I thought they destroyed it because all the powerful people from Six Realms want it and somehow wiped out their clan to get the recipe? But during the attack, they only got the Heavenly Grief recipe and first part of Golden Millet Dream. So to save the remaning Bo clan, they made a barrier to the ancestral home. That’s why Bo clan doesn’t want to reveal the recipe anymore and not to mention about about GMD to the Six Realms. We can see how their greed kill JBZ’s master from Bo clan just for them to get GMD.

I might need to rewatch to understand this part fully.

True JBZ has the right to decide whatever he wants to do with GMD, that’s why she wasn’t even mad when he burned it. But she also had a choice to not telling him and she doesn’t want him to choose in the first place. When she stole it, that’s her choice on what she wanted to do for herself. As a warrior, she understands that a loyalty between a master and a disciple shouldn’t be ruined.

I thought of this too, and if the roles are reversed, people would criticize FL for not seeing ML’s sincerity action

What a masterpiece! The storytelling is just perfect!! It’s such a rollercoaster ride watching this drama, full of actions and emotions. All the casts did a splendid job.
