My theory on ep 23 preview:

I don’t think Ming Yi would steal GMD from him because he would know that she stole it and his trust would be broken. I think it’d be 27’s desperate attempt stealing GMD to save Ming Yi and then JBZ got enranged because JBZ might thought it’s for Ming Xian since 27 is Ming Xian’s companion beast and when Ming Yi is protecting 27, then he would know that all along Ming Yi came to him for GMD to save Ming Xian. I think this is how it causes the misunderstanding.

Then she went outside of Wugui Sea since JBZ asked her to get out from his sight. 27 tried to save her by sacrificing himself since her petals might be left with half (my guess because she only had 1 after heartbond stray spell) because she did exert her power protecting 27 at the spirit well. MY fainted after and Situ Ling carried her. JBZ probably went there after feeling the pain & emotion that MY felt when 27 died and before she fainted but it’s too late that STL already carried her. JBZ would feel regret for saying harsh things to MY and chased her out and he might know now that MY is the one poisoned as he might feel the familiar pain when he was poisoned with Heavenly Grief.

Anyhow, I cannot wait for the angst episode! 😆

Situ Ling might become obsessed and villain in the making after ep 19. He was mad at himself that he’s helpless that he couldn’t save Ming Yi during the torture. He was feeling guilty that he took MY’s defense weapon making her losing the opportunity to forge weapon like she always did to save herself. Then when he saw JBZ saved Ming Yi, it’s driving him crazy that he couldn’t do it the same because he doesn’t have spiritual vein. I think he might become more ambitious after this to get GMD for Ming Yi

I’m still waiting for these two angsty scenes from the trailer:
(1) JBZ’s spirit well caught on fire and Ming Yi walked pass through him
(2) Situ Ling carried Ming Yi who might’ve passed out due to the pain and JBZ just painly watched him doing that
