I think the earliest we could get the Season 2 is on 2023. Joong Ki is currently filming for "The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate" and it was going to be finished as soon as the first half of 2022. So it is only possible they will film Arthdal Chronicles on second half of 2022 or later on. We know the production of Season takes a year to finish so yeah its really 2023.
Directing by current director isn't that problematic. People are overreacting. There're just some minor issues…
He's not problematic. It's just that his directing style is not my forte, and he's not that fit for this kind of drama. Yes, his directing is bearable but what I'm trying to say is if this script is directed by Kim Won Suk it could've been a lot better.
How I wish Kim Won Suk (the director of Signal, My Mister, Arthdal Chronicles) directed this drama too. So sad, Studio Dragon really lost a huge talent.
If you've watched Signal, a previous and legendary work from the writer, you will fully appreciate the story. This writer is genius and masterful at their craft.
I'm quite surprised that I agree to all your pointed dramas. Especially with Move to Heaven and Navillera, can't see all the hype bout it. It's too all over your face. Same to you, I didn't get emotional on those dramas unlike the general audience.
I swear the actress of Hwa Jeong has some quality acting chops. Among the cast ensemble, I find their performance the best. Even better than the leads. The way they cry was so heartbreaking. I'm in awe.
And also the actress on Cho Hui, whenever it was their scene, my eyes were always hardly pasted on the screen. They has so much screen presence. Maybe I find them so good-looking. But only a single emotional scene does it take to show their acting chops. I'm stoked of future projects they will take part of.
