The Current He Jingzou-Lin Wu with refined plot.

Its my first time seeing Gao Mingchen and Qi Wenting, this is my first review for them.

The Plot is about FL aka Lin Wu is meeting ML aka He Jingzhou and his assistant is being her customer(She works as convenience store cashier). She met ML again with help of ML friend. She knew ML has white moonlight who already has relationship with ML friend so she offers herself to have girlfriend contract and pretend to have crush with ML friend while she only loves ML.

I feel Qi Wenting is shown her rookie soul with her stiffness and lack of emotion on few scenes while Gao Mingchen creating He Jingzhou persona being playful and know boundaries. He can reject female advances clearly so there is no green tea attached to him/.The chemistry is 50:50 while the ML is trying hard with no effort FL but still watchable because of refined plot. They added FL family backstory especially her mother which previous version didn't show why FL personality is like that and shown FL poverty and her shabby room. The plot is most fast compare to previous version.

There is many version of this story but this is my personal favorite of ML characterization compare to other version.

Recommend if you want to dynamic duo and watch well-written ML.

The First He Jingzou-Lin Wu that stills win for me

Its my first time seeing Luo Mai Yi works and i quite familiar with Wang Ziyi works. I quite like her but she always deliver fake kisses or 0,1 second peck.

The Plot is about FL aka Lin Wu is meeting ML aka He Jingzhou who was her first love wants to kill someone and feel scared she pretends to being fine until ML and his assistant is being her customer(She works as convenience store cashier). Feeling scared, she almost make mistake while his assistant is being nosy about ML relationship since he tends to broke up for 3 months. She found ML beloved keychain and want to return it. She met ML again with help of ML friend. She knew ML has white moonlight who already has relationship with ML friend so she offers herself to have girlfriend contract and pretend to have crush with ML friend while she only loves ML.

Wang Ziyi doing great job to portrayed timid and insecure FL while Luo Maiyi creating He Jingzhou persona like Tsundere (Fierce outside, Love sick fool inside) and emotional stable person. Love how he called "Princess:, "Baby" to "Wife" while FL wants to stick for previous relationship agreement, she tried to not get excited about ML fluttering action. The chemistry is okay they got fluttering kisses since its campus drama. ML regret for not confessing to FL and doing ridiculous relationship with other is on point.

There is many version of this story but this is my personal favorite since FL in here quite superior instead another one while ML is still debatable and depends of how you want to view this story.

Recommend if you want to see secret love with slightly sweet taste.

Too much dragged will kill you.

This is my first Ji Jun Liang main character that i watch and Tang Qiqi is debuted with this. Both are my first review.

*inhale exhale* Ji Jun Liang knows how to kisses and he always getting horny for almost all the scene. Most of short drama ML need to learn how to kiss for him. Tang Qiqi despite being newcomer is better than famous short drama FL, she got potential. Their chemistry is cooking until the meat was being well-done

Plot is about FL being forced to kiss by ML without ML knowing before FL was being kidnapped and call ML but ML thinks FL is pulling prank and FL fight against kidnapper alone. FL wants to divorce ML with the crucial moment+ ML family didn't like FL and wants to match ML with family friend aka SFL. ML try to redeem himself by any means while FL wants to get divorce as fast as possible. While they are on divorce process, FL is pregnant and want to hide her pregnancy from ML.

ML characterization is on point, he is not bad person. He is making terrible mistake and try to cut himself from toxic family. I don't understand why people dislike FL character, if i was her i would do the same since ML didn't any trust for her. She knew what's right for her and never let herself being bullied by ML family. She indeed love him but her disappointment is bigger than her love plus she developed PTSD after her kidnapping

The ending was to rushed they could get giving that couple more lovey dovey moment or maybe explanation of the action. I remember there is other version of this story even with proper ending but all of chemistry never beats this version.

Still recommend this drama, despite all the flaw.

Stockholm Syndrome enjoyer would love this.

This is one of Chai Hui Xin underrated work because the plot is not much everyone liking *cough* Stockholm Syndrome. If you are morally right person, this drama is definitely NOT FOR YOU.

The Plot is about FL and ML who was being in love and want to get married after they graduated. Fate was playing cruel ML parents is dead by accident by FL father. Leading to them fall apart. To punish her, ML torturing FL by staying by his side like a canary bird. FL wants to get free from ML, so she is getting job without realizing the time since she is doing overtime.By tomorrow, ML comes to her workplace and met her boss as their company partner and feel overjealous. FL tried any means by asking her boss to accompany her to runaway from ML only to being catch again by him.

The Forced kiss is make me shiver (in good and bad way) because the sexual tension was sizzling especially the bathroom scene. Zhou Hang is such a good kisser and he is underrated since everyone barely talk about him.

Personally, I quite don't like the ending because it feels to rushed and you asked why they only get to make SML died in such a ridiculous way.

Only recommend if you are put aside the moral and Stockholm Syndrome story enjoyer.

Feels like eating bland curry.

I love Bai Yan and Wang Haozhen as actor and put my high expectation on this drama. I like dark romance and republican theme. i thought the formula is being there but turns out it was so-so for my liking.

Plot is generic formula. ML and FL was in love. FL seeing ML executed her 13 families and feeling heart broken. FL is disappeared while secretly pregnant. They met again while FL do arrange marriage meeting by her uncle. Family war between FL and ML make them fall apart. ML wants to win FL back by any means.

The kisses was indeed hot but still lack of chemistry and FL is being doormat character just want to make me sigh. She didn't do any revenge to spare her murdered family just being self-centered and didn't really care for her child due her neglience. ML is doing his best by portraying broken yandere character but still didn't make me like this drama.

Not really recommended unless you are respective actor fans.

Should focused on Female oriented instead

I was fan of Zhang Chuxuan and never watch Zheng Feng work. This is my first Zheng Feng work i ever watch

The plot is about FL found out her husband affair with her best friend, Her best friend murdered her husband (ML) and swapped their child after her death. Giving chance to reborn, she wants to get revenge to her husband and her best friend.

FL knew her child being swapped by her best friend so she tried to get back her child without being her best realized she will torturing her own child. The revenge plan is almost smooth even i almost forgot there is ML because his character is like side dish and forgettable. FL and ML didn't have any chemistry for romance and glad they don't put romance for a little bit. The ending is good since enemies is getting punished.

Still recommend to watch if you are Zhang Chuxuan fans.

Meticulously plot written at first but getting slope in the end.

I was fan of both actor (Zhang Chuxuan and Cheng Cheng). I put my high expectation on this drama and they come with almost no disappointment.

The plot is about FL found out her husband affair with her best friend and they want to kill and seize all of FL property. FL finally asks ML who was her dad illegitimate son to join force to fight her husband. There is little bit pseudoincest but actually ML is not FL dad son and secretly in love with FL but FL is always meticulous about their action so she didn't accept romantic feeling.

I like how story progress for FL being scammed and slowly try to get back her stolen property. The divorce is coming after she got all of her property. The child is pissed me out because he always take side with antagonist instead of FL. Despite long duration, they didn't tell about her child afterward.

Still recommend to watch if you want to watch revenge drama.

Lowkey same comedy wavelength as this drama

Ma Lejie slowly wants to break her acting persona for being abused to do this comedic route and it works. Li Shengjie is always serve as Male lead, i don't have any complaint about him.

The plot is quite new FL best friend (Zheng Xiaoxiao) got married to ML younger brother (Xie Dongqing) while FL (Nan Feng) wants to crash their wedding. People thought she wants to get ML little brother since his persona is playboy but she comes to FL bestfriend crying while being left behind. FL thinks fast and has an idea to get ML's (Xie Qiu Bai) as her boyfriend. FL try to seduce him by any means for stop her family to get back to her scumbag fiancee that choose by her parents.

I quite like FL antics with green tea (slapping each other since both of them are low class actress) and Ma Lejie with her beggar clothes to fight ML brother for neglecting her bestie is quite my favorite. Most of the part is like mockumentary about duanju formula like they assumed they get pregnant while it actually they are not.

The supporting cast are doing great especially ML mom, FL best friends and of course the victim of main couple- ML younger brother. They got decent portion without shadowing main casts. Main Couple kisses is that good and i quite surprise how second couple got their steamy kiss (not with that usual fake kiss).

I still rewatch few times since it quite funny and the plot is not too draggy.

Recommended to anyone who watch sister love and comedy without slapstick.

Tian Tianyi proofs she got her comedy persona

Its first Tian Tianyi drama with Tinghuadao since she changed her agency. Shi Kang is basically Tinghuadao new artist so i have no expectation since he is kind of newcomer.

The plot is about changing the bride since FL stepsister didn't want to marry ML since he is on comatose and FL is willingly to become a substitute since it only chance to run away for her biased family. FL met ML mother and getting humming by her inner voice about her plan to become rich wife, somehow make ML wake up from his comatose and react by his mind only.

The plot is quite light and no angsty. Shi Kang acting is passable even there is part that show his rookie manner. The chemistry is lukewarm and the kisses not fluttering for me. Tian Tianyi is quite new for comedy troupe because is got the yandere vibes. The Ending is like reverse card but not making me gasped.

Recommend if you didn't want to think that much.

Decent Plot with Zero Chemistry

I like the story wise. The plot is quite decent but Ge Xiaoxi and Meng Jiahui didn't have any chemistry and another fake kisses by Ge Xiaoxi and feel Meng Jiahui is tried too hard to fill the CP (my sole point goes to him only) and feel bad for him.

Plot is about FL aka Meng Jiu Yi is underground reporter tried to get Juicy news of ML aka Tan Yu Chen and barely caught by him and tried to runaway but somehow ML is being drugged and found FL and they had sex and she escaped. ML tried to find about her (he knew her identity as her childhood sweetheart) and found her boss and threated her boss to met her again.

The plot is quite detail about FL family issue (her stepmother, her stepsister) but the biggest letdown is FL is quite miscast and her acting effort is barely exist.

Ge Xiaoxi needs to learn again about chemistry acting and her obvious wig always distracted me.

Decent version but too much cut

I watched Ge Xiaoxi-Meng Jiahui and Yang Shuyu-Wang Yilei. (I dont know if there is another version but i have feeling there is more than three) and this one is quite fine even it's not the best.

Plot is about FL aka Xu Nuo is underground reporter tried to get Juicy news of ML aka Si Jing Nian and barely caught by him and tried to runaway but somehow ML is being drugged by FL stepsister and found FL and they had sex and she escaped. ML tried to find about her and found her boss and threated her boss by making lure mission with condition it must be offline meeting and get mission to make FL ex school crush as target to get his crime.

The chemistry was fine even the kisses is not hot like usual Wang Yiran drama but the hint of sizzle chemistry is there. The plot is getting cut due the duration so there is many plot hole (FL childhood, her family downfall, the bodyguard backstory, etc).

Tian Tianyi is always deliver as cunning girl (her comfort zone) while Wang Yiran is doing usual good job.

Recommended for both actor fans and got few time for entertaiment.

The Unexpected Duo who have CP

Finally this page has been add up (Thank you for whoever got their request appealed lol) since i want to make review on Cao Tian Kai- Peng Yao drama.

The Pair has collaborated twice (the first one is good even the plot is not everyone favourite) and this is their second collaborating (by time i type this there is third version of their collab will be released in 2026).

I thought the plot is like Wang Yiran-Lan lan or Chen Gang-Zuo Yi version but i was completely WRONG.

FL aka Qi Xu is doctor intern who met ML aka Lin You Qian by mistake as andrology patient while he actually want to get medical checkup. Feel embarrassed and scared of not passing the intern FL asks ML to spare him by not make complain to higher authority. ML was actually forced to marry by her mother and make FL pretend as her girlfriend while FL thinks he want to pretend by one day ML wants to marry her since her mother was getting cancer (her mother pretend to being sick while FL know the fact later and follow her mother act since she respect her MIL). The latter part is quite sad and get slice of life feeling since it revolve about FL Mom and ML mom backstory without being losing main plot about the couple. The supporting cast are doing great job for this without shadowing main characters.

Recommended to everyone who love comedy with slice of life.

And as always its not Cao Tian Kai who never shown his refined body (and i am not complaining though, he reminds me of Eric of Shinwa)

The second version makes the first more decent.

I remember i only watch half-way since FL characterization is make my blood tense high until i recently watch Jin Jiayu-Xu Siqi version which make me curse and my neck hurts for blood rises.

Basically: FL aka Qin Sang is aloof traditional beauty who gentle outside but resilient inside while ML aka Sheng Yu just another Yandere CEO ML who has brain unlike usual CEO on duanju and secretly love fool. Plot is mainstream about past love with misunderstanding troupe. FL have sex with ML and left him without reason and got pregnant. While ML is getting yandere personality due FL leaving him without any words. Five years later they met again when FL forced to get blind date by her father and met ML and mistakenly as male host. The tug-of war is quite too long but the mutual redemption is fine since ML has character growth (while do some gRapey scene on first part and later ask for FL consent).

Plot pace is quite angsty at first but later is quite sweet. Zhang Liren is the highlight of the drama, he got mannerismand the chemistry between him and Zhao Fei is fine though he looks shorter due Zhao Fei's height (172 cm). Cameramen did their best on hiding the different.

I dont know if there is other version will beat the first version since second version is out and there is not really recommended to watch.

Wasted Opportunity for the Cast

I remember watch this drama last year and as far i remember this is the first version of the novel and try to rewatch for this review. I like the chemistry between Zeng Hui and Chai Huixin. The ML is somewhat douchebag and FL is just plainly foolish. What i never like on this film is kind of stalled because they only tell Female Lead was abducted to Myanmar (There is no season two, prepared to be disappointed) and its kind of ironic because latter versions have completed story and refined plot but the chemistry are subpar compared to Zeng Hui and Chai Huixin. 50:50 to recommend this because it giving bitter reality of this stalled project.
