Not usual transmigration plot
I watched Zhang Hongming and Lily Zai first collab (with that fake kiss since the topic was school bullying) and found they collaborated again with Transmigration plot with all the scenario being changed since Male Lead can read Female Lead mind. Finally they do real kiss (peck still included compare to their first collaboration). The plot is promising with bittersweet ending. Not tried to give spoiler but i quite enjoy and rewatch if i found shit on duanju.Was this review helpful to you?
Child actor saved the day
This is one of my first short drama i watched and i choose blindly. The plot is usual classic one night stand and misidentification of FL. The chemistry between the couple is non-exist but what i make stay to watch this until the end are the FL son, villain woman son and the villain woman. They are saving fun of the drama. Simple Secret Crush with sprinkle of youth drama.
Peng Yao is specialist on Light hearted romance and Huang Haowen has soft aura that rarely found on vertical male actor and the combo is perfect. The story is common things about FL got secret crush for his senior ML since he saved her from scoundrels. They meet again and FL tried to get ML love even ML is famous for cold and rejected girl with same reason. The misunderstand is still bearable but FL family are sucks i feel bad for her step brother since he love his stepsister but her stepmom was shady. The ending is lukewarm since i feel this kind of film could be slice of life or youth. Recommended if you want to watch slightly simple secret crush.Was this review helpful to you?
When nice premises got forgotten in the end
The premises is actually good about "who is the baddie on this relationship" but when i watch it it didn't have spark of wild romance between Bai Yan and He Cong Rui. Bai Yan and He Cong Rui are acting fine but it get dragged when ML go to work on his family business the plot is going nowhere and the both of them didn't communicate for solving problem. The ending didn't get left an impression. Too bad this drama is easily forgotten for both of them.Was this review helpful to you?

Realistic tearjerker drama.
This drama is really tearjerker ,I am stoic person so i rarely cried but when i watched this my tears are overflowing. The topic on this drama is relating to Rape and how victim faced it after rape. For short drama view, this one is too extreme yet realistic. The bullying on this drama is too brutal like The Glory (2024) and full of violence. I warned you again to back out if you have violence and rape trauma. I love how this drama not glorified the rape into romance. Chai Hui Xin nailed on this performance, her crying scene was too heartbreaking even when Female lead suffered partial deafness is on point. The ending was sad but satisfying (when the perpetrator realized he never seen his child again). Zhang Beixi also nailed on his performance and i like how he backout from force kissing when he saw Female lead tremble and trying to know what really happened when he is not there with her. The romance on this drama is barely zero so don't hope too much for sweet scene. I would recommend to people with strong heart and not having any mental issues.Was this review helpful to you?

Lighter reborn drama
I rewatched again to make the review since i watch Yu Peishan version first and this version is quite lighter and comedic compared to Yu Peishan one (Sun Yue and his comedic antic). Its about Female Lead who had died for operation table with broken heart since her husband said he didn't care about her life (He is actually cared but its too late). Han Yutong can match with Sun Yue's antic even without kisses. The supporting cast are quite okay especially Male Lead sister. When ABO plot turn mess
I personally like ABO stories with same or different gender and it was first Chinese short drama about ABO. The cast is quite promising since Bai Yan and Liu Qing are real CP. There was many kisses and bold scene but it didn't save the plot mess. Too much plot hole and ABO is just pretense to make boring plot more intriguing. Revenge arc with perfect ending
Wen Moyan is one of my fav. She nails on revenge drama more than sweet drama. Her banter with Ye Haoran is ok and there is no forced happy ending which i liked. Female antagonist (Gou Jinjin) reminds me on Cheon Seojin character on Penthouse sans her iconic expression. Wang Daotie character is too small on this and i feel it needs to developed more. The minus on this drama sudden show on few characters that haven't not introduced properly. I still rewatch and recommend this drama to other people.Was this review helpful to you?

Upgraded version of Addicted 2.0
The story is same to Lee Byung Hun and Lee Miyeon Addicted (2002). I watched that first and it doesn't give me impression despite "fresh" plot.I watched it without try to remember previous film plot and the result was better than previous one in term of everything. It was like 2.0. The color palatte on this drama is pleasing and the shoot is unlike another common short drama. Ma Xiao Yu proved me he can act beside psychotic CEO or Mafia. Zhao Xixi acting is natural and has classy vibe. Hwang Bo is living my dream (sleeping while getting paid). The chemistry between Ma Xiao Yu and Zhao Xixi was fine. The kisses was real and hot. Zhao Xixi and Huang Bo are quite strong since they had co-starred on few short dramas before. Even Ma Xiao Yu and Huang Bo are quite like siblings vibe. I amazed with Mother acting. (Thumbs up to cast manager).
This short drama is morally grey since some people don't like the idea getting romantically involved with your spouse younger sibling and how Haoxun forced himself to become Haonan since he helplessly fall in love with Chuxia since college. Chuxia really loved Haonan. How Mother feels about both son and her internal conflict about family issue. I don't believe on soul swapped since they didnt put "Fantasy" on this drama.
For the ending, it depends on your perspective and i quite like they don't explain anything si(i think Chuxia knew Haoxun was pretending but she just shut up)

underdeveloped drama
I remember when i watch this drama last year because of Ge Xiao Xi but i ended up annoyed with her way of bringing FL characterization and those fake ass wig is too distracting.The plot is basically about FL was being killed by her crush and reborn again she met ML whom she never met on her first time and trying to close to him.
Actually the beginning is good but underdeveloped character of FL makes me irritated she want to get revenge but all she do just being close to ML and worse of all the chemistry between Ge Xiao Xi and Meng Jia Hui looked too artificial and feels like Meng Jia Hui force himself to the wall.
Wont recommended this drama.

Like the CP and cannot stand the Plot
I watched this because My friend recommend this drama and I cannot finish this. Even Ma Le Jie and Wang Kaimu have strong chemistry but the plot is just focused on torturing FL.The Plot is about FL has a seriously ill younger sister. ML possesses an unreleased drug that might save her. He uses this drug as bait to torment and abuse the FL, making her completely subservient to him.
I love Wang Kaimu, but this drama gave me a lot of heartache and the smoke kiss was not really cool at all. The forced happy ending is not good since ML didn't have any redemption point.
Since it was forced Happy Ending, i dropped this drama.

Another case CP didn't suit the drama theme
I watch Liang Siwei-Meng Na first drama and feel satisfied watch that so i tried to watch this drama. But for me Both of them didn't suit the character, it feels misplace as their vibe didn't match the school youth theme. Plot is quite good but they bring the negative charm to make people displease to see. Maybe another CP can make drama great but not them unfortunately. Dropped.Was this review helpful to you?

The Best Period Drama I ever watched.
I watched this since the premises was really good and i want to explore more Yao Guanyu's work and it's my first time seeing He Lei acting and Turn out I love this drama. Because it's just not romance but it focused on FL and her mother relationship and FL entrepreneurship growth. The comedy was not too cheesy. It was perfect balance for every genres for Period Drama.The plot logic is very reasonable. FL gradually understands her mother and teaches the original mother from past and sister to resist loving her. Even though the FL knows the bad consequence will happen to her that day, she has a reason to go out. In the end, the FL's wish to return to her mother's side is fulfilled. All of these things are not accomplished by a few superficial words, but are actually driven by the plot. This is true feminist drama in short drama-emphasizes judging actions based on ability, not gender.
FL is truly intelligent and self-reliant heroine. Many times when she encountered bad guys, I thought the ML was about to appear, but she always solved the problem with her own. He Lei proves her natural acting in this drama. Her economic thinking are biggest help to survive in 1980's.
Yao Guanyu was well-cast and acted perfectly. He contributed 80% of the comedic moments in the show so this drama is not too serious since they bring heavy topic. His screentime was not too much but he makes impact. ML's marriage proposal gives the FL confidence, and the couple are incredibly sweet.
The makeup is so natural and light. But I liked Yao Guanyu's floral shirt, slicked-back hair, and bell-bottoms, he perfectly captures the unruly and resilient spirit of a rebel kids in 80's
The cons are the duration are too long around 4 hours 20 minutes so I need to make watch instalment. There are too many distressing family scenes especially come from FL's dad and annoying chatter from uncles and aunts. I feel bad for ML in the end and last part really feels poorly written.
Recommended to watch and it was the best period drama.

Too lazy for my liking.
I actually quite like the plot because everything you have was lost and she is not another rich family daughter. They didn't portrayed FL backstory and feel they got this drama on tight budget or too lazy to create a scene. FL was too childish and felt so stage. ML is indecisive and felt one dimensional. Wang Zi Yi and Ma Xiao Yu didn't have any chemistry even their dynamic duo is extinct. Another fake kisses from Wang Zi Yi are not pleasing to watch. Avoid this drama.Was this review helpful to you?

The Premises is interesting and new.
I know this drama thanks for their excessive advertisement on the apps .The plot is generic and new at the same time: FL knew her husband aka ML was cheating with her best friend and FL decide to freeze herself without ML knowing.
Han Yutong convince as Wei Ran who never believe in Love, not too overdramatic. Zhao Zhendong acts as hypocrite person well (how he talk about sweet promises with his wife while he manage to cheat). His crying scene reminds me of Jo Insung crying scene in What Happened in Bali. The Mistress is quite irritating hats of to Dong Zi Yuan for portraying it too well.
For me, the ending was satisfying enough and very well deserve for all the main leads
