I watched this in Dramabox since most of Ye Ting's drama is more fast update in here and he didn't have any chemistry with Meng Lu.

This drama tried to cram in way too many elements. The first half was good, but in the second half everything suddenly became a mess. Too many verbal sparring that loses the focus and it become a snoozefest.

FL in first life is an idiot in her previous life chasing after a married man, giving blood of her daughter to the man's daughter and nearly killing her, harming her own husband and children for the other man when the man has a wife and is always scheming with the scumbag.

She really does not deserve the ML and children. Even after being reborn, she still never gives a clear explanation to ML and is entangled everywhere with the other man though she is trying to make up to her family for her previous life mistreatment of them. She really does not deserve her loving family and their hatred of her is real founded.

Not worth watching even for hardcore fans.

FL only wanted to return to reality to collect her money, so she was constantly courting death. ML was her biggest obstacle, but his character was actually quite eccentric. FL is a princess of a fallen kingdom. Her maid tells her that she must assassinate the ML, the Crown Prince, to save the fallen Kingdom. ML was once a hostage and has long harbored a secret love for FL and regards her as his white moonlight.

The story is complete, and FL's desire to return to the modern world is understandable. For her, the ending is perfect; she's about to become a millionaire.

Decent cliché romcon from Chen Zheng Yang and Yue Yu Ting

I watched this drama last year from Dramaworks before it was take down from youtube.

The plot is clichéd since i've seen several similar ones. However, the pairing is quite interesting; Chen Zhengyang and Yue Yuting chemistry were amazing even they didn't have many kisses scene. Yue Yuting nailed both sweet and sassy FL, ​​and she's incredibly cute and it quite rare to see me liking Yue Yuting dramas. ML always has unwavering faith in the FL. Although he married her by accident, he takes responsibility for her, protecting and trusting her. SFL impersonates FL and causes trouble, but her scheme helps the ML and FL, providing some laughs.

The only annoying thing is they don't recognize each other.

Still decent drama to watch.

It's not common fake daughter-real daughter usual plot.

I watched this drama on November 2025 and i was surprised it was underrated drama It was look like common fake daughter-real daughter generic plot but the process how FL was accepting the phase from being adopted daughter, search her lost family to respect herself. I quite like Deng Yanni acting, she has lovely acting that tend to be not overreacted. Hu Jia Hao nailed the good guy ML

ML is green flag and i appreciate him since he tries so hard to give her space to heal and accept him since he is secretly in love with FL. FL's ex boyfriend is not typical evil villain he is too dumb and FL still appreciate him even she and him are not meant to be. This is the first time in a short drama that we've seen a relatively self-consistent explanation of SML behavior. SFL is still traditional villain on short drama so i count it as the cons of this drama.

Screenwriter give this drama reasonable logic, a decent post-production team, consistent costume (i love FL dresses) and creative direction, and a director with a very consistent sense of camerawork.

Recommended to watch.

Decent drama about entertainment issue but the romance quite lacking.

I watched this on August 2025 since i was on Wen Yuan marathon drama at that time.

The premises was quite interesting, ML becomes a ghost since he is on vegetative mode, only the FL can see him, and he can possess her body, helping her transcend social classes and achieve her dreams. The overall plot and pacing are good, with no obvious plot holes, and the issues it explores in the entertainment industry are excellent. This drama explores topics like capital, billing order, and buying awards, which is quite relevant to current events.

The cons in this drama there is no chemistry between Hong Cheng Yue and Wen Yuan. The process of the ML and FL going from strangers to lovers feels rushed. ML is constantly helping FL grow, and while her feelings for him evolve from gratitude to love, it lacks a powerful climax. ML falling in love with her feels even less compelling.

Overall it's still interesting drama to watch.

Complex drama that not glorify the villain

I actually watched this drama on 1 February 2026 since i quite tired of romance story and this drama was quite heavy to finish not because they are boring but this drama has complex plot than rare to find in Chinese short drama. Wu Gung comes to short drama is unexpected surprise. This drama relies on flashbacks, but the narrative is well-organized.

The opening scene shows a corrupt official falling from grace, with former classmates sitting on opposite sides of the dock. Interludes reveal how a promising high-achieving student is gradually corrupted by power and falls into ruin, satirizing the system.

Liu Xiao Xu can portray villainous role without any awkwardness, and his emotions at each stage are spot-on: youthful frustration, trepidation, triumph, and despair. This character is very complex, offering a lot of room for development, but it's also very easy to mess up, so taking this step is truly courageous and commendable. Pan Shu's character was remained true to her original aspirations amidst the ups and downs of system. This drama hits me because when someone you really like, someone close to you, does something illegal what will you do for them to defend them or do upright justice.

The cons is underlying logic of this series. It's about honest people being pushed to the limit; to put it bluntly, it's about being forced into something for something else.

If you want to watch complex law drama without any romance plot, you could watch this.

Enjoy both of leads acting.

I watched this drama since i miss Shu Tong on short drama and this drama was around years since they shoot so it was probably longest take to wait for this short drama. I personally want to see Zhai Yi Ying on melodrama since the last drama i watch from fer was light-hearted drama with Yao Guan Yu last January. It was really worth to watch.

The synopsis was melodrama coded and focused on the FL's suffering; but it feels i was being scammed in good way this time.
It's a story of campus romance + mutual redemption + running away for love + reconciliation. While there are indeed some awkward moments, the underlying logic is sound. The awkwardness isn't just for the sake of being melodramatic; it's a complete, closed-loop logic that aligns with the characters' actions. Therefore, there are no disjointed moments, and the story flows smoothly. The only flaw is that the kidnapping at the end was really unnecessary. FL mother wasThe first half drama was quite boring but the second half drama was better.

Shu Tong portrayal of ML's character is excellent. He is patient, persistent but later becomes clear-headed, rational, shrewd, and decisive.

FL is grounded, little bit awkward and realistic. She leaves to allow her loved one better opportunities and doesn't want to hold ML back. Seven years later, their backgrounds are vastly different, so her avoidance of him is understandable. Applause for Zhai Yi Ying to make FL character was down-to-earth person.

Still worth to watch but if you don't like melodrama you can skip this one.

frustrating drama

I watched this on Dramabox 2 years ago and it was quite challenging to complete this drama. I didn't know the leads name. Li Shengnan was quite tall but not looking tall and realized Yao Guanyu was the ML.

The plot is about ML has psychological issues and can't accept marriage. He and FL have been cohabiting and secretly dating for three years. FL wants to get married and breaks up with him, but he disagrees. However, he doesn't want to get married or take responsibility, so they start arguing and sabotaging her blind dates.

FL say they're going to separate, but within minutes they're entangled again. FL starts dating the SML and ML tries to force himself on her, kissing and hugging her. FL is indecisive, torn between ML's struggles and the SML's relationship.

It feels like the main characters have no moral compass; they're only enjoying their own romance, regardless of others' well-being. SML is just a tool. But encountering such leads in real life would be truly frustrating.

The ending was so abrupt and sudden. ML never told the female lead about FL, nor did he explain the tattoo.

Wont rewatch since i don't want to stiffen my neck for being angry at drama.

There is no chemistry between Yuyin and Yao Guanyu

I watched this last year when i was skeptical about Yuyin acting eventhough i like her. Yao Guanyu was fine playing madman ML (it's basically his expertise) but they don't have any chemistry as couple.

FL has ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). To fulfill her mother's dying wish, she sends her younger brother back to the Xie family. She approaches the ML. Six years ago, FL helped ML and he fell in love with he but FL dont remember him. ML manipulates her, luring the innocent girl into his trap. When her brother is kidnapped, FL begs him to save him, agreeing to be his lover.

This plot summarized melodrama plot that wont have Happy Ending and they make this drama Open Ending to make hope for fans. This version's plot is rather bland and not as engaging. The melodrama emotion are feel artificial and it was flat as surfboard.

Basically it's just not my cup of tea.

Aside for comedic child swap, everything was boring.

I watched this because of Cheng Zi on last year. But I was surprised how the 2023-2024 drama trends come again for a while. It's about generic plot FL and ML got one-night stand FL was pregnant with twins but her son was getting kidnapped and somehow ended in ML hands.

I really want to slap the ML's brother. Other brothers are the first to discover the truth, but this one is more trouble than he's worth. According to the plot, FL is probably only looking for her son and has no feelings for the ML. ML kisses FL every time they meet, which make him more like obsessive person.

ML was the dumbest CEO in short drama. His son was autistic and being bullied by his tutor, and he doesn't even know? If the FL hadn't discovered it, his son would have continued to be bullied by outsider.

This one adds some comedic elements, such as teaching the child homework, and the child swapping makes it more fun. ML was quite dumb for not recognizing his own sons.

Only for hardcore fans who didn't mind stupid plot.

Guo Yuxin in her wacky role

I watched this last year and it was quite refreshing for Guo Yuxin since the FL was quite spunky with cheerful personality. Her chemistry with Gao Minrui was decent to watch.

This drama is not transmigration nor reborn plot. The plot is about FL was once save ML and he always remember her. ML returned to his county to work on disaster relief. He took in the FL and her sister, who had been kicked out of their home. The two married, settled down, raised disaster relief funds, and became role models for women everywhere. FL has a fiery and resilient personality, but her actions as a native were somewhat outrageous for that era it would be better if they add time travel plot.

Almost every villain gets to redeem themselves. The family scenes were heartwarming. The end was so sweet and this drama is absolutely no angst included.

Still decent watch.

If you want to see ghost theme drama, it just appear of first scene and they dissapeared.

It's been long time since i watch Jia Yixuan drama (even her dramas with Chen Si that i was anticipated, i still never complete it for some reason) and yeah i got this from Tik Tok Recommendation.

Jia Yixuan's acting is okay; she portrays two different personalities well, one pure and innocent (Bai He), the other ghostly and alluring (A Lian). Guo Haojun plays FL's childhood friends who secretly loves her but due to his identity, he's never confessed his love. After learning the FL's true identity, to allow her to use him without burden and willing to sacrifice himself to help her set up a scheme. The chemistry between the leads are quite fine to watch.

The plot is actually good but they cannot executed well, trying to create a twist, misunderstanding that the younger sister is the bad guy but it turns out she's the good one. But the result is just so-so. There are more another errors. The show says it's ten years after Bai He's death, but Lord Wen's appearance hasn't changed at all over ten years.

The plot logic is somewhat inconsistent; the blood pact mentioned in the show isn't clearly explained. FL casually revealed her identity to the villain without any fear of being plotted against or retaliated against. Few of supporting actors acting were awkward; especially the FL younger sister.

The only highlight is the ghostly appearance in the first scenes.. It feels like it was just a gimmick. I came in because of this setting, but I was disappointed with this. It would be better if they create revenge drama with ordinary person from beginning.

Actual concept of this drama was quite potential, but it wasn't utilized well, resulting in a somewhat chaotic production. The editing was so sloppy making this drama was disjointed.

Maybe if you are fans of the actor, you could enjoy this.

Xu Meng Yuan is sole reason why this drama was so good.

I watch this only for Xu Meng Yuan without looking who was the ML because i don't know him back then. It turns out it was Wang Hao Xiang. I quite like how Xu Meng Yuan bring FL character more into life.

The plot is about FL transmigrates into a book. The original owner was a substitute for SFL who committed suicide after being abused by the ML. The new FL only wants to make money and stays as a substitute for the male lead, earning 500,000 yuan a month.

I quite like New FL mind since original owner was harassed and misunderstood by ML, so she directly hired two bodyguards and then gave the ML an over-the-shoulder throw. ML asks FL to take care of him, and she's overjoyed because she thinks she can make money. ML interprets this as her being hopelessly in love with him, common-narcissistic behavior.

The sudden shift to love at the end felt abrupt and lacked buildup. It feels ML never get his character development.so i never agree with the ending. Plus the lack of romance chemistry between Xu Meng Yuan and Wang Hao Xiang seems like they make this drama a force HE.

In the end, it would have been better if FL had chosen to return to the real world with the money and hadn't fallen in love with the ML, i will give the rating higher.

Only watch for Xu Meng Yuan.

The first half was gold comedy but the last part was off

I watch this on 31 March 2025 and i recommended this drama on twitter so i tried to remember how i view this drama.

The plot is average; FL's task is to make the male lead dislike her, and ML's task is to win over the FL. The beginning is funny, but it gets a bit off-key later at the 10 minutes before ending for the specific moment after they found out they were time travelers; it felt like a completely off. Jin Jun Liang plays the observer doctor and this time his role was not being scumbag.

For the romance, the lack of chemistry between Sun Qian Xun and Zhao Zhen Dong was obviously shown in this drama. Even there is good kisses but it still shown the lack of chemistry between them. But the comedy and ML and FL banter at the first half of drama was completely entertaining.

Still worth to watch.

I will give the overall score higher if was not for abrupt ending.

I watched this drama last July when it was released and i was quite like it and how we cannot forget iconic Liang Siwei first scene when he was topless and kissing his FL. I quite like Yao Yuchen acting but her plot was not really that good and this is one of the exception. The chemistry between them was passable to watch.

A Lovely campus romance drama. Pure sweetness throughout, no angst. There are a few minor misunderstandings, but they are quickly resolved. The main characters are all normal people, without any particularly outrageous male-female rivalry. Brothers and best friends are all supporters. The plot is rich, without any melodramatic scenes, the pacing is tight and smooth, they are mutually redeeming, secretly in love, and heading towards each other.

I need to thank for ML golden retriever dog since it was my sole reason to watch this drama with full focus. But the cons about this drama is abrupt ending. It almost destroy the good merits of this drama.
