It gives me Taiwanese Drama

I watched this since i quite like the Youth drama and the emo grunge fashion from FL and her friends. Even SML hair is disaster but it feels so 2005 style coded. If you want to see normal fashion you can look ML style. I usually never watch Lu Dandong drama if the FL was unknown. But this is one of my exception. This is my first ever watched Wen Qing and i think she delivers FL characters well and she was loyal to her friends. Her expressions incredibly lively. Looking her it was feeling watching Taiwanese drama. Lu Dan Dong gets nice ML role was so refreshing since i used to see him as scumbag ML.

The plot is about FL was former petty criminal who is reborn after being killed in a car accident by a SFL. She decides to lead her friends to a comeback and escape their life of crime. She then approaches the male lead, asking him to tutor them. Initially reluctant, he agrees after the FL helps his mother out of loyalty. Fl also helps one of her friend problem about parental favoritism and even give her home after being abandoned by her mother.

After the exam, FL and her best friends all achieve excellent results, and the smartphone is successfully developed. The country not only awards the four of them a generous prize but also provides them with admission to prestigious university.

SFL tries to use her family's power to steal the FL position to admission entrance in University through a guaranteed admission program, unaware that this spot is state-designated for the FL. If the substitution is successful, it will be immediately discovered, and her family will be investigated

The cons is SFL is too energetic. I think adding a bit of their romance after ML and FL go to university would make it much better.

If you don't mind the cheesy and cringeworthy moments, I recommend watching it. it's really good.

Meticulous Plan for Taming the Husband.

I watch this and didn't realized it was Li Sheng Jie since he didn't use his bang (His look was better than his usual look). Never see another Zhao An Di, so this is my first review about her. Both of leads carries their character well especially Zhao An Di.

The plot is about FL transmigrates into a book and, to avoid becoming cannon fodder, starts by "taming" ML to win him over, eventually achieving her ideal married life. In the drama, FL gives the ML bait (by sleeping with him), and the negative impact of divorce on the military creates the conditions for her to control him. FL acts in her own best interests, using the ML's "interests" as bait, and adding some reasoning to achieve her goal of taming him. FL's methods only work because of the ML's character was straight man. If it were a more cunning and calculating ML, these methods probably wouldn't have been effective. Gradually, ML changes from loving the FL for her appearance to truly loving her of everything.

The plot is flawless, the sweetness and satisfaction are perfectly balanced, and the sense of the era and the satisfying action are both top-notch. The casting is perfect, the acting is natural and not exaggerated, and both the main and supporting characters are memorable.

The premises is common but needs to skill to make it engaging

I actually watch Jinze and Zhang Chuxuan second drama first and it was decent watch and know this is their first drama i decided to watch this.

The premise of this drama might be similar to typical regret-filled stories: FL deeply loves the SML, who is unaware of his own love for her but prefers the SFL; FL leaves, ML gets lucky, SML discovers his true love, regrets missing out on the FL, and then begins to punish the scumbags. Typically, the SML is a jerk, and the SFL is a scheming woman. What makes this drama special is its character development

For example, SML isn't a jerk. Initially, he rejects FL decisively, and I even thought FL was asking for trouble in the first half. But after watching the whole series, I felt he was a flesh-and-blood character, and all his actions were consistent with his character. Similarly, the SFL's scheming nature has a reason, unlike some short dramas where scheming is just for the sake of scheming, blaming the FL for every mistake.

ML falls in love with FL at first sight, helps her protect her mother's belongings, rescues her when she's kidnapped, and protects her in every way after marriage. He's also jealous and competitive.

Pacing is tight and smooth without dragging, there's no unnecessary dialogue, and the ending is even more uplifting. Everyone has their own happiness, there's no need to force it, love yourself before loving others.

Recommended to watch.

Usual scumbag story.

I watched this since Youtube recommended this. Zhang Beixi's scumbag acting was very good its contrast to see Tian Xiwen same expression on every emotion. The voice was no dubbed which is better to heard.

The plot was quite generic. ML and FL date for eight years, with the ML repeatedly postponing their marriage registration and showing no boundaries with the SFL. FL was preparing for her own wedding from the beginning, so why didn't she just break up from the start and leave instead of going home to attend her own wedding.

Most cringe-worthy line in the whole show from ML was: "An alcohol allergy is just an intolerance; if you're intolerant, just drink a few more drinks and you'll be fine." Such a drastic change in affection after FL left. SML doesn't have any childhood sweetheart or savior storyline, yet he's so doting? The moment the FL leaves, ML suddenly realizes he loves FL. Ridiculous.

FL rejected the ML's attempts to keep her and wanted to marry SML. To escape his advances, she got into a car accident and faked her death. The ending was quite predictable.

Only to watch once.

Wang Xiaoyi and Wang Yanxin quite match for stoic character.

I watched this last year because nice premise and it turned out it was average. Both actor was quite stoic but it was decent watch.

Wang Yanxin is perfect for playing a role within the system; his restraint and stoicism are very captivating. Furthermore, the ML's character is well-developed; he later realizes what he wants and bravely pursues love without hesitation.

FL seducing the ML for medical expenses, later develops feelings but isn't love-struck; she's capable of self-preservation, doesn't need help in dangerous situations, is kind and rational, and always prioritizes her life and career. I quite like this show, but the FL's seduction of the ML in the first few episodes was a bit awkward and didn't feel quite right.

Wang Xiaoyi dance shows her amateur level and it can be the problem since the FL job was dancer. Many of the dance moves are poorly handled. The production team should have hired a professional dance teacher to choreograph them.

The plot is plausible, and both the main and supporting characters are well-developed and memorable, such as the second uncle and ML's mother.

You can watch this if you dont have any idea to watch.

Double ML who have more chemistry with each other than with the FL

I watched this for Zhao Zhendong but surprisingly he had more chemistry with Wang Xuan more than Cui Shiyi.

Cui Shiyi was another good kisser in duanju but she lack of showing the vulnerable emotion from unrequited love. She may good on strong FL but her weakest moment still feel artificial.

Zhao Zhendong's portrayal of Older Brother is heartbreaking, showcasing a vast range of acting talent. He perfectly captures the character's restraint, timidity, ruthlessness, wit, and deep affection.

Wang Xuan's scenes are also explosive, portraying a complex mix of misunderstanding and love-hate relationship. The female lead's character is also well-developed; though she suffers from unrequited love, she gives genuine affection.

I quite like the brothers moment and the brothers deliver powerful performances. The entire drama is emotionally charged, full of tension, and highly immersive. Although the overall plot isn't perfect, the character portrayals especially the brothers and amazing, making it worth to watch for fans of actors.

This is more leans into political drama.

I watched this last year and had this drama on hold for some reason. Decided to watch back and it was decent despite the abrupt ending.

This drama really due gender reversal perfectly Woman Rules while Man obeys.

The logic and details are reasonable, the plot unfolds naturally, and the pacing is tight and smooth. FL is courageous and resourceful, strategizing meticulously, with interconnected schemes, utilizing all available resources, making no wrong moves, and ultimately achieving a successful comeback, not only avenging her family but also reaching the top. Moreover, this drama is not a pseudo-1vN story so there is no kissing or romantic moment between FL and 3 MLs-even though FL created her own harem.

Recommended to watch if you want to watch gender reverse political struggle.

Classic drama.

This drama is the third drama i ever done when i first watching short drama in 2024.

The plot is about FL and ML met on unexpected encounter, decide to have a whirlwind marriage. However, ML maintains a mysterious identity and past. FL begins to suspect ML true identity. She discovers that ML was once a gang leader but changed his identity after a certain incident. Through a series of interactions, FL decides to face MLs past together and help him solve his problems. They experience a series of dangers and trials without any money.

The thing that i liked for this drama is Sun Yue remark. He may not the most handsome but his acting was quite smart and he can hinder his other leads weakness especially Xu Yizhen. Such a rare gem on short drama not many actors cannot do that. Even the romance and kisses were not sensual but you can feel the dynamic duo between them. Xu Yizhen embraced resilient FL who wants to know ML hidden secret.

If you want to watch classic decent drama, watch this.

There is too many flaws about FL characterization

I watched this when i want to explore more Gong Fang Ni works and i dont familiar with Feng Yiyang so perhaps this is my first review about him. Both actor are deliver their acting and their chemistry was quite cute to watch. The relationship growth between the lead was quite interesting.

The plot is usual generic drama Poor FL was being drugged and got one-night stand with ML. She wake up and ML asks how much money she wants. Still left with dignity, she refused until she got called from hospital about FL grandma bills. This drama contains misunderstand between the leads from FL purpose to ask ML for money until green teas who come for ML. The most hilarious FL tells ML she needs to work early before the pervert boss comes in. He walks in looking all fine and turns out he was the boss and checking her out.

The cons are FL was so dumb she needs to straight paying for hospital bills instead of giving her uncle family money while he sends her to work at pub. FL also being hypocrite person she keeps the non-exist pride for ML while she getting bullied by her family and needs money, ML was not good either he literally paid her and saying we must kept our relationship a secret but getting angry over FL without confessing his feeling. And the SFL was most delusional person while ML reject her she thinks he still like her.

This is for hardcore fans of Gong Fang Ni or Feng Yiyang.

It was nice family drama despite unnecessary verbal sparring

I watch this when I want to explore more Li Jingye works and i was surprised on Liu Yuhang as her ML.

The plot is about FL who was from zombie apocalypse era travels back to the 1970s to lead her good-for-nothing father and younger brother. The original FL was being known as fool girl.bFL just want to eat meat but her family are useless, so she just hunted prey and selling that in black market and they become rich. Basically she becomes breadwinner for two men in her family make his father family scrutinize them.FL met ML when she hunted fish in the river and ML was take a bath. I cannot with her blatant confession to make ML as his concubine and ML felt scared but secretly enjoy this. I quite like how FL father growth to become helper since he realized his previous mistake and FL younger brother is same too and he was the cupid for ML.

The cons in this drama FL father kept appeared until the last episode. ML childhood sweetheart are too annoying. After the story, the bickering and verbal sparring increases and it gradually falls into a cliche plot. The romance between Li Jingye and Liu Yuhang are almost zero since there is more neck biting and less of real kiss.

Still decent family drama to watch.

An ambiguous drama between Younger man/Older Woman

I was excited when i watched this in this year since i found decent sub in this drama and it turns out it was decent. Even they claimed this drama had Hongkong style but i don't feel any Hongkong vibe at all (Maybe because Jeana Ho was Hongkong citizen).

The plot is about FL knows her fiancé was getting affair. She remained calm but actually she was slightly emotional, but simply went to drink and vent with family and friends. It was at this moment that the she met ML. And then ambiguous relationship between FL and ML started.

Their romance was captivating; the older sister was mature and charming, the younger brother innocent but emotionally expressive, and the age and social gap created a turbulent relationship. It was rare to see Ma Xiaoyu in younger brother role and the age gap in real life was real and the casting was right. Personally the chemistry between him and Jeana Ho were not overflowing but it was still sufficient to watch since they had ambiguous relationship at first they met.

The sibling relation between FL and her older sister are so strong and their dynamic seems decent to see. But i felt ML's younger brother presence was too weak in terms of acting while he was actually was the key of this drama.

The ending felt a bit ambiguous; it didn't clarify whether the ML died or not, nor did it explain the fate of the FL's father and FL ex fiancé. The cons in this drama the final stab felt a bit unnecessary.

Still recommended despite the flaws.

Quite like this blind box drama.

I watched this so randomly and there is less than 2 hours so i can watch this while travelling to other city.

The plot is about FL was forced by her husband to go out and find other men to get her pregnant so he can be virgin for SFL. FL feeling to her husband are died and ask him to let her search man by herself.

The kisses aren't as intense since Wen Yuan likes to peck his mouth. The chemistry are still sufficient but not really artificial sweet. The usual generic formula on short drama are still there for example hidden identity the plot is quite smooth and the pace was so on-track. ML is competitive and greedy. So far, I can still finish watching his dramas. FL is also quite unique vibe and she fights back the antagonists. Zhao Fei acting was quite decent.

The cons are FL husband and SML acting quite old-style and their scenes are so terrible. from fast-forwarding to later skipping any scenes with them. If you are quite morally right person, you wont like this drama.

The first half of drama was quite okay but downhill until the end

I watched this for Wen Moyan and it was rare case for Shen Haonan to get good chemistry with his female leads. There is original voice so i enjoy Wen Moyan husky voice .

There are tons of kissing scenes throughout the series, almost every episode in the beginning. They're real kisses, no camera tricks, and they're quite beautiful. But i feel slightly irks when ML calls FL "sister" all the time, he is not giving younger brother vibe even in real life Wen Moyan was older than Shen Haonan.

The divorce announcement was late, and the villain's presence was a bit too strong and boring, with too much screen time preventing the main couple's story from fully developing. ML was only focused on romance and didn't seek revenge, only mentioning the scumbag's bankruptcy at the end.

Still decent watch.

The chemistry between Meng Lu and Charon are mystery for me.

I watched this drama after watching Zhai Xinran-Wang Chanpeng and Zao Zao Er-Li Sheng Jie and it was better assignment so can compare them more fairly.

Plot is about FL and ML are bickering buddies since high school. ML has always secretly loved the FL and tutored her. The FL successfully entered the university he attended, and the two supported each other throughout. After graduation, FL's family pressured them to get married, so they had a whirlwind wedding.

Charon's stubbornness was just too captivating and i quite like Meng Lu even some of people think she was too mature for him. The chemistry is burning the kitchen. The kissing scenes are incredibly sensual and sweet. The scene where the ML proposes to the FL moves me.

There are no melodramatic or illegal plots. FL only shows her girlish whims and capriciousness in front of the ML, who truly takes good care of her. ML is incredibly doting and charming, exuding a strong sense of husbandly love. His little expressions, gestures, and flirtatious remarks are all charming. He knows boundaries and is even good at judging tea

My cons is they should make the place is flat not villa since it was slightly unlogic since SML comes to the villa without the security. What is the point?

Despite all the flaws, it was decent to watch.
