Upgraded version of Addicted 2.0

The story is same to Lee Byung Hun and Lee Miyeon Addicted (2002). I watched that first and it doesn't give me impression despite "fresh" plot.

I watched it without try to remember previous film plot and the result was better than previous one in term of everything. It was like 2.0. The color palatte on this drama is pleasing and the shoot is unlike another common short drama. Ma Xiao Yu proved me he can act beside psychotic CEO or Mafia. Zhao Xixi acting is natural and has classy vibe. Hwang Bo is living my dream (sleeping while getting paid). The chemistry between Ma Xiao Yu and Zhao Xixi was fine. The kisses was real and hot. Zhao Xixi and Huang Bo are quite strong since they had co-starred on few short dramas before. Even Ma Xiao Yu and Huang Bo are quite like siblings vibe. I amazed with Mother acting. (Thumbs up to cast manager).

This short drama is morally grey since some people don't like the idea getting romantically involved with your spouse younger sibling and how Haoxun forced himself to become Haonan since he helplessly fall in love with Chuxia since college. Chuxia really loved Haonan. How Mother feels about both son and her internal conflict about family issue. I don't believe on soul swapped since they didnt put "Fantasy" on this drama.

For the ending, it depends on your perspective and i quite like they don't explain anything si(i think Chuxia knew Haoxun was pretending but she just shut up)

underdeveloped drama

I remember when i watch this drama last year because of Ge Xiao Xi but i ended up annoyed with her way of bringing FL characterization and those fake ass wig is too distracting.

The plot is basically about FL was being killed by her crush and reborn again she met ML whom she never met on her first time and trying to close to him.

Actually the beginning is good but underdeveloped character of FL makes me irritated she want to get revenge but all she do just being close to ML and worse of all the chemistry between Ge Xiao Xi and Meng Jia Hui looked too artificial and feels like Meng Jia Hui force himself to the wall.

Wont recommended this drama.

This is Opium Drama

You know when i write this long drama review on my duanju diaries means this drama was like opium.

I am Tian Xiwei silent watcher since New Life Begins and Wrong Marriage and feels she was overlooked actress while for Zhang Linghe i never finish most of his dramas since his acting was not my cup of tea. (1 Bailu , 2 Esther yu's, 2 Zhao Jinmai's, 1 Xu Ruohan) and this is the first time i ever finished Zhang Linghe dramas. The chemistry between them is like Coca cola and Mentos experiment. I quite like FL character growth since it was quite consistent and contrast to popular belief ML got his character growth not based on his fighting skill (he always injured but still give his best) but for emotional intelligent. One thing i found rare in Chinese Long drama is having strong emotional FL who not really depend of Love over all.

The beginning of the drama (Ep 1-18) are too strong and well written since they want to focused on Linan arc. They successfully make all of supporting characters got the spotlight (for example: Mrs Kang, Magistrate Daughter). But somehow they kind of losing the actual purpose on Episode 23-26 and the most thing i couldn't accept is Jin secret love to Changyu. It was kind of annoying can the scriptwriter make the relationship more platonic. I want to see more Xie Wu and Xie Qi relation to the Fan's Sister and it was overshadowed by Mr Jin. Man Di death was unfortunate but they kind make not realistic by not letting Changyu had proper farewell to him (They cut the plot too often so most of usual watcher will confused).

I love Deng Kai acting but scriptwriter-sama please reduce the second CP moment on the last 30 episode (yeah Snow Kong and Deng Kai got chemistry but the limited of drama duration should to give the Main lead backstory) and Su Yuanqing with the cousin scene was unnecessary too. Lin Muran acting's is make me gasped since he is quite young star.

The weakness of Zeng Qing Jie works related to political arc on this drama based from his previous work (General He drama, Wei Yan backstory, How Xie Zheng know Chang Yu real identity) but he give some color scenery that reminds me of Lord of The Rings trilogy so i kind forgive him for the lack of Political aspect on this drama.

Despite of all of my rambling about political aspect, i still recommended this drama~

Patriot drama scam; it was common love story.

I watched this as someone who never watch long drama version so it based from my own experience. I watched this in the day drama was released.

I was expecting a heroic female general's inspirational story, but I was wrong. Well, this drama still rely heavily on kissing scenes and i was quite annoyed on the kissing on first scene since FL as general should instinctively get her judo skill if she encountered danger?

Although, I quite like Guo Yu Xin, I felt she wasn't suitable for the role of a female general Her characterization didn't quite match of her as a patriot general. The plot had many holes, and the cause and effect were unclear. You need to get through the confusing beginning. For the chemistry between her and Yan Zi Xian, it was still passable to watch.

FL speech was contradicting from the action for the example she said to crown prince "I will never allow my future to be about fighting for a man," is followed by her suddenly borrowing 50,000 troops from the crown prince to attack a Gu sect and rescue the ML.

The switching between the young and adult versions of the ML's scenes is very smooth and natural. Patriotic tale is scam, it is actually a story of personal romance, and the ending completely disregards logical details.

Only for hardcore fans of the actors.

Central Academy of Drama Leads

I was realized Chen Zheng Yang and Guo Yu Xin from Central Academy of Drama. There was no chemistry between them, even though both of them were quite good-looking. The overall viewing experience was not good that I had to fast-forward even at double speed.

Both leads acted very well together, especially Guo Yuxin. Her expressions and demeanor are probably unique in short dramas. She is particularly strong and her portrayal of a well-bred lady was also very convincing. FL's character is very well-developed. Decisive action, slapping is satisfying, she knows how to flirt, and there are many intimate scenes. There's a candied hawthorn kiss. A slow and steady love is just as heartwarming-and perhaps not everyone favorite.

ML has boundaries and emotional stability, no messy green tea bitches, no naive childhood sweethearts, and the scumbag doesn't linger too much.

Plot was rather mediocre, relying entirely on the FL to carry the show.

The Premises is interesting and new.

I know this drama thanks for their excessive advertisement on the apps .

The plot is generic and new at the same time: FL knew her husband aka ML was cheating with her best friend and FL decide to freeze herself without ML knowing.

Han Yutong convince as Wei Ran who never believe in Love, not too overdramatic. Zhao Zhendong acts as hypocrite person well (how he talk about sweet promises with his wife while he manage to cheat). His crying scene reminds me of Jo Insung crying scene in What Happened in Bali. The Mistress is quite irritating hats of to Dong Zi Yuan for portraying it too well.

For me, the ending was satisfying enough and very well deserve for all the main leads

For all version Jia Yixuan is most well balanced for this role.

People all always praising Wang Nan-Zuo Yi version of this story. But i prefer Jia Yixuan- Ye Haoran even Ye Haoran still lacks on acting terms compared to other version that i watch (Zhang Yiyang and Wang Nan). Jia Yixuan potrayed as some who pretends to be insane to save her life and signally asked ML to help her to fight against her family (her step mother, her father and her sister). ML just being infuriated to FL since they already had one night stand before.

Jia Yixuan has balanced her insane pretentious persona with cunning mind while she just smile and do nothing. Ye Haoran still need to break his little brother stigma if he wants to widen his character and it will be a long time since he always being casted as younger brother role.

Recommended to watch if you are Jia Yixuan fans.

Quite decent adaptation since its not my favorite plot.

This is adapted from Guo Yuxin-Ma Xiaoyu story with ancient time.

Plot is about with fictional diseases to initiate a couple's relationship. For my liking, the plot is not my favorite so there is many version that I abandoned. ML is quite pushover and using his power as crown prince to steal the bride. Their biggest problem is lack of communication and ML is not honest with FL about the truth. The chemistry is great and basically another Wang Haozhen repeat drama beside his collaboration with Han Yutong. The chemistry is shining bright and complement their superb acting.

The ending are based from your own beliefs. Depend of how you like the endings.

Recommended to watch regardless of the flaw.

Ignore this version for your sanity.

I checked this drama after Li Shengxuan version and this is worst decision i ever made. Bai Xinyang acting was never improved from i started watching Chinese short drama. I wonder how he can keep his stiff acting for all the entire drama i ever watch (i watched around 5 dramas when he was the main lead and his acting was indeed bad even his supporting role on Wang Nan recent drama was not that good). Not to mention the Female Leads, i don't ever watched Zhang Rui En drama but the chemistry between them was non-exist, it feels like she reciting the dialogue. Avoid this, Avoid this, Avoid this. Unless you're blind hardcore fans of both actors.
