it's kind of scary how much i love dong man/ae ra already. the final scene between them in episode 2 was gold! their banter and chemistry is everything.
Damn '88 Kwang Ho id dead.. how.. unexpected.. I really wanted to see N act in this kind of a role, but I…
I think there is alot still to reveal about his character and we will see more of him in flashbacks. I was excited about two Park Kwang Ho's meeting so I feel you! It was a good twist but I'm disappointed at the same time.
YES KAORI YOU DID IT. Sort of. I mean, wouldn't it have been better if she'd actually spoken to Ryo-chan and broken it off with him face to face? Did that happen off screen or did that not happen at all... idgi. What I really wanted was for her to confront him and tell him to stop treating her like shit and end it for good. Anyway, what's important is that she actually FINALLY made that step. Not like I've been waiting weeks for that to happen or anything lol.
I feel kind of conflicted bc although I do like Hayasaka-san (he's so sweet and sincere) I'm not sure where this is going? I don't think he's endgame, and I'm not entirely sure if the writer wants us to root for Rinko/Key... I'm like 80% sure they do lol.
At the end of the day, Key's a hypocrite. He was evidently frustrated that Rinko won't confess to Hayasaka until she's sure of his feelings, but then he so obviously likes her (the way he teases her, all the staring and his disappointed face when she gets flustered after asking her if she likes Hayasaka) but he doesn't do anything either. He did the exact same thing before too (when she worked up the courage to ask him how he feels about her after they slept together and he shot her down. He was so cutting I wanted to kill him lol). WHY IS HE LIKE THIS???
I liked that he was the one to force Kaori to turn her back on Ryo-chan for good, but it irks me that he sort of has this sense of superiority over these 'hapless women' that are ruled by their emotions and keeps having to lecture them on how indecisive they are. You rarely see him vulnerable. He's so coldly rational that he's hard to connect to imo. I hope the last few episodes can rectify that and get me to feel for him a little. He's soooo frustrating.
I don't like either of those characters either but your hatred of women is just too much. I've seen your comments everywhere on this site and 99% of them is you trashing female characters and using disgusting language.
There is a psychopath in this show, and it sure ain't Hee Ji.
I kind of enjoyed the first two episodes, but this week's episodes missed the mark with mysterious/creepy atmosphere imo and now it's just farcical. No idea how they're going to drag this out for 20 episodes when they've revealed/hinted at so much already.
If you're talking about tv ratings, Go So Young is the only real 'star' in this, and she hasn't been on tv for years, and KBS barely promoted it. I also think it's in the wrong timeslot - the content is more weekend drama fare.
HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT WEEK NOW. no preview either :(
the scene where she misunderstood him confessing to her was hilarious and really cute. i would have got out the car too lol. bc we already knew about the kiss from the spoilers at the end of 9, i was waiting the whole episode for it to happen. the build up was so good!!! it didn't disappoint. i was screeching so loud lmao
i'm going to be so proud of hwan ki when he aces the presentation next ep bc god knows he has worked so hard and deserves it (plus wooil deserves a smackdown, that selfish bastard). he's come so far. yeon woo jin portrays hwan ki's struggles perfectly and his disappointment in himself in the last scene felt so real. really loving park hye soo's performance in these recent eps too. they're adorable together <333
It would be nice if Key didn't constantly belittle Rinko... like goddamn she puts herself out there and that's your response?? + don't even get me started on Kaori's love internet, what an asshole.
i love lee young ae but this was really not a good start, i doubt i'll watch any more. the production values are awful, it looks so dated. i don't find the story compelling at all. also casting song seung hun was a mistake - i only find him acceptable in rom coms (he was cute in my princess), he's a generally super wooden and unconvincing actor. i don't want to see him in any sageuk.
I honestly really like Zhi Shu in this version. Theirs times when he acts like a cold idiot (ofc), but other times…
That's one of the reasons why I like ISWAK more than any other adaptation - he's obviously crazy about her but too dense to even realise his feelings. It's obvious to us but not obvious to him lol. In the Korean version I honestly couldn't work out whether he actually liked her or not. The combination of KHJ's bad acting and the poor writing killed that version for me. Anyway I might try this now, thanks!

yep, i'm a goner. they're super cute! episode 8's romcom shenanigans was more what i was expecting from the show from the beginning.
