A really good movie for the first 50 minutes.
A junkyard of sh*t after that.

After ep 6 I just hate Yoshitaka Yuriko character.

And it's possible I'll hate the show too because after the cliff' I wanted to puke on everything it represents. (u_u)

I hope the ml divorces his wife...he can still be happy with his family. Tbh I feel like this show is romanticizing…
Exactly. It's the reason why it's disgusting.
On The Spy Gone North Mar 3, 2020
It's important to know that it's NOT a spy movie at all, its main purpose is to speak about north/south and how politicians love the situation while people (from both side) are suffering (and being manipulated) for it. And showing true friendship.

The end is beautiful, but I'm sucker for this kind of scene. ♥

What a let down ... there's (maybe) 10 useful minutes in the whole 1h10 length of the show. (u_u)

What's the point of using professionals, what's the use of being an actress with talent when you play in something the writer didn't put any goddamn effort into it ? (u_u)

Gosh, Seo Yi Sook ... being reduced to a second and insignificant role like this ... it's painful to watch. (u_u)
Kim Seo Hyung ... poor woman ... such a lazy written character ... so few scenes ...
FFS, the writer is jerking off and being paid while talented actresses must put up with his lazy sh*t ...

First ep is insulting for spectator and, firs and foremost, for Kim Seo Hyung and Seo Yi sook. (u_u)
The writer's laziness is not sexism anymore: it's indifference, it's pure disdain for actresses. (u_u)

Densha Otoko ..maybe ill look into to it but I have trouble getting into office dramas.
Ho, I didn't see it was you behind this article ... you don't know densha Otoko ? It was THE drama at the time, many started watching jdramas because of it (plus there was the legend of the "based on a true story" ... fun times). (^_^)

But why are you talking about office drama ? It's all about an otaku ashamed of himself falling in love after "rescuing" (yeah ... rescuing ... it's one way to put it XD ) a damsel in distress. Wanting to be a better man is his motto, helping from internet he's gonna get, life lessons everybody's gonna learn, plot twists everywhere there'll be ... there's no office, never.

It's more about the male character growing into an adult/accepting himself and people around him learning from it than a romance ... well it's a romcom but not the usual one.
Eun joo's room is kinda the same but the other way around in a sense, maybe the reason I like it so much.
Old_Anime_Lady Feb 24, 2020
"So what are your favourite Romances?"

Densha Otoko (https://kisskh.at/269-densha-otoko).

*drop the mic*

Problem with this one: nothing can be better, it killed the game. The perfect balance between stupidity (it is funny) and naivety (it is touching).
Plus: the music ... so 80's (♥_♥)
Absolute best romcom there is, all about growing, changing, accepting yourself, discovering love ... there's so much to say about this one I don't understand how this is not the highest rated romcom.

I liked Snow White (https://kisskh.at/1913-snow-white) too. Mostly because of the ending, not the usual "happy stupid ending" but a somewhat bittersweet hopeful ending, found it interesting. :)

Last year there was a really good Eun Joo's Room (https://kisskh.at/31143-eun-joo-s-room), I liked how the female lead (Ryu Hye Young, there's not enough of her, the best part of Reply 1988 ♥ ) was a real woman character becoming aware of her own abilities BEFORE looking for love/falling in love for the male lead. In fact the romance part is somewhat accessory and that's the reason why the characters are interesting. :)

Demo, Kekkon shitai! (https://kisskh.at/23151-demo-kekkon-shitai) was a short but entertaining story.

Other than that ... Densha Otoko killed the game. :p

Humanly disgusting.

Two worthless human being as ML => drop.
They're both disgusting and useless for humanity, can't watch something with leads like that.
On Quantum Physics Feb 23, 2020
Surprisingly entertaining. Quit rushed and a bit messy at the end but entertaining nonetheless. (^_^)

A really stupid movie trying to be everything: comedy, spy movie, catastrophe movie, buddy movie, friendship movie, drama, political movie ... of course, everything fails because you can't be everything.

Let's be clear: there's a pregnant woman able to swim in a tsunami.

'nuff said.

My thoughts ?

20 years later people are still defending tarantino' rip off and dare says "reservoir dogs has nothing in common with City on Fire".

Now that this parasite movie is sacred (and you MUST like it or you're an ignorant), it will be the alpha and the omega of everything.

Proof I'm right: nobody saw the other movie, everybody knows there's nothing in common.

Sad sick world.

Title Kokou no Mesu Spoiler
Waste of time in the end: rushed ending, too much caricature, a clear hatred for doctors and journalists makes his story unbelievable.

A shame. The beginning was good and the main duo works perfectly but ... nope, that wasn't worth the time. And I think this is a poor adaptation because there's much emphasis on certain things while others should have been more explained. I don't think was written that way, I'm pretty sure there's much more work on sanekawa. In the story he's important at first but then he's useless (?!?) and successful (?!?) because of reason and really quickly. On the other hand Toma is a spoiled child in the end, doing what he wants and not caring for the needed change in japan medical system ...

Yeah, a shame. :/
