The best move of your life ! You don't know how retarded the rest of the story is (spoiler: the rapist is praised by the victim in the end ! \o/ ), and there's even more rape and even more "rape is not important" message through the show.

If you watched the anime, don't bother: it's shit. If you didn't ... go watch the anime: this movie doesn't make sense, the ending is stupid (not even about DJing), the duel was a mess and huge noise (like PROUT PROUT PROUT PROUT PROUT) without anything to do with music, the MC is not interested in DJing (only in a girl), Tonkatsu is almost never used, there's no explanation for Oily name ...
Nah, it's a mess, the anime is incomparably better. :/

Didn't watch any of them (don't like live action when it comes to this genre) but I can say: -read Dororo, it's an excellent manga (and clearly not adaptable in a movie, too much stuff) -Watch Garo the animation is amongst the best anime I could watch ... for half a season. Then it went FUBAR. But the intro ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PPXP-RIHo8 ) and the first part is well worth the watch -watch Gintama (the anime), one ep a day. You can't binge watch something so full of absurdity, easter eggs and joke/wordplay about Japanese culture without feeling full but it's something unique.
So refreshing, so innocent, such a good life lesson .for kids ..
The importance of having a goal in life, making efforts to achieve that said goal, no forcing your lust onto women but earning the right to play with boobs ...

Would have been better if it weren't for the 30 minutes of "lol I'm not a rapist lol => lol you are a rapist lol => lol no I am not lol => bis repetita". The starting point (a fake rape case making the prosecutor looking for the truth) is WAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY too much awfully done.
In the end ... it's Default (the movie, excellent) but poorly made and lost in its tracks: comedy, drama, conspiracy, death, twist ... it's going everywhere when they should have made a clear path right from the start (comedy OR drama, you can't do both and certainly not this way). Plus ... Honey Lee ... what was the point of her character ? Because when the film ends => a plastic bag was more useful to the plot than her. (O_O)
And that's mainly because of the lost narrative: if it was a pure drama, her character would have been a really sad and angry message (and I would have loved it). But since it's messed up, her character is factually useless, pointless, meaningless ... a waste.
I did not hated it (the ending is too long, way too typically south korean: overmelodramatic to the point of being ridiculous) but there was everything needed for an excellent movie and it did not delivered. A shame. :(
There's everything for an excellent drama. But strangely enough ... this dram is like a puzzle where every pieces are put in the wrong order and wrong sides. (X_O) What could be a strong female lead became an utterly toxic mother/wife. What could be a second strong female lead became a beyond stupid teenage girl. What could be a meaningful male lead became a wimp angry for bad tasting food. What could be a second meaningful male lead became a sad mommy boy. What could be a medical drama became a daily. What could investigations became gossiping women. What could be a main plot became "ho shit we have to end the show now".
Yeah, kind of a waste of time even if the problems come from the dialogues more than the story, more from the pacing/balance of every aspect than the protagonists. :/

Only thing to save: Gouriki Ayame is cute (didn' see her since Tenshi to Akuma) ... that's not much. :/
