Much love. Although she's been doing films for quite a while, Jeon Jong Seo is a recent addition to the K-drama scene. As far as I've seen her from the movie Burning and also The Call, it seems she likes to take pretty challenging roles. All the best luck.

Such a Great Ending moment, it just does justice to the Melancholic element of this masterful melodrama. There are a few questions but for the majority of the ending episode, it was on point.
It's hands down one of The Most Favorite K-drama of my life, this one I won't forget.

I am really sad this this drama ended. Was enjoying it so much, it's down to earth, very far from a Law Makjang, very realistic and has a very life-ey vibe. A 2nd season would be lovely, although, not sure what they would focus on as everything has been wrapped up very well in the end.

I have to be honest, I am not a big fan of Jun Ji Hyun. I don't even know why. Don't brick me, please :D I watched…
It's fine, it's your preference. I like Jun Ji Hyun, have liked her for a long time. However, just because I like her and many others like her, doesn't mean you have to like her too. We all have our preferences.
If anyone bricks you simply for stating your opinion in such a mild manner where you aren't being a jerk, insensitive and insulting toward the actress in a rash way whatsoever, then that person really needs psychiatric help.

I am late watching this. Finished it, and can confidently say that when it comes to intriguing suspenseful crime/tabloid drama, this one is just a Hidden Masterpiece.

Waited for Park Ji Hyun to be the Main Female Lead for quite a long time, she is an absolute beauty, but more importantly, so far all the roles she played recently, even if not that of the main FL, were quite challenging, and she did phenomenal job. I hope this trend of her being the main FL continues.
And as for Ahn Bo Hyun, I had predicted that 2021 was his year, and it was, with him getting the first Main Male Lead role in Yumi's cell s01, which was also where these two worked together. After that My Name in the same year, then 2022 was Doberman.
Now it seems like 2023 Definitely belongs to him, with at least 2 projects where he is the Main Male Lead. Looks like Drama-makers nowadays wants more of him, to our pleasure. I've always liked him, so handsome, so good at acting, and basically made to be the main lead in K-dramas. So happy for him.

The DREAMY music that are played in this drama really makes this show that much more enjoyable. The feels that I get from this drama is basically the Highlight of this show for me. This is one of the prime reason as to why I tend to love Romantic Melodramas.
This one has really knocked it off the park.

I enjoyed the first episode. Cho Seung Woo is perfect for this type of character.Yeah, the first case is really…
Hmm. Both did wrong, especially to the kid. However, the Douchebag is on another level. Insecure, Insecure, Insecure on a Cosmic Level.
With that much insecurity it's clear how a person is going to morph over time, a monster.

i think its the same office from On Dollar Lawyer... 😭😭
Yeah. I noticed that too. Only the ML's office is different. ODL's total room was quite big. I think they arranged a partition in between and made it ML's office.

you hit a really interesting point right there! i never noticed this myself but now that you mention it it's very…
Exactly, just like we don't focus on too much about all the aspects of the food we are eating during binge-eating, during binge-watching the same thing happens. We focus on the overall feeling we get from the entirety of the show rather than every bits and parts of the storyline during watching episodes weekly. I feel like during binge-watching the only thing we care about is what's gonna happen in the next episode, and until the ending that's what we focus on. And if the ending suits our taste and expectation than all sins in between are forgiven.
Whereas during weekly released shows like this, well, we just have way too much time to nitpick about every little thing in every episode.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention CCIR. It went through so much dissection by people with surgical tools initially. Had it been released in one go, people wouldn't have really time, that is the one week gap between every 2 episode, to go through every nook and corner of every episode, neither the urge to do so, at least not that much.

Honestly, I wish that dramas of this caliber would release all episodes in a go like some Netflix originals.
When 2 episodes are released every week, people tend to nitpick on every episode, why this happened in this episode, why that didn't in that episode etc. However, the dramas that release all episodes in a go doesn't really go through this phase that much.
The Glory is one example, one of my most beloved Revenge Melodrama definitely. I am sure if it was released 2 or 1 episode every week, we would have some qualms about some episodes and their endings and would be dissecting every episode. However, cause it released all the episodes all at once (At least the Part 1 of it), We focused on the overall story progression and the ending of it, not nitpicking on every episode.
Anyway, so far, I am really enjoying this. 2022/23 is looking quite good for melodramas. First The Glory and now this. I don't mind the Grey-Purplish background that much, at all to be honest. Hope they keep the quality throughout the show and end in a high note. A Lot of episodes left.

Watched the First episode. Pretty good, comedic element and the dialogues, especially the internal monologues of the ML is very good. Let's see, as it's a short series I will take my time with this. At least 2-3 days.

alcohol is far worse than marijuana. Millions of peoples lifes is destroyed because of alcohol, because of aggression…
I mean, look how alcohol use is portrayed in K-dramas. Like the way alcohol usage and more importantly "Drunk Behavior" is shown is completely out of touch with reality, and romanticized to unusual length.
But hey, Marijuana is the end of the earth. There was an episode in "Law Cafe" in which an elderly woman just takes weed from a nearby forest (that was naturally grown at first) to help with her severe pain issue. But, man o man, that was considered to be so bad by everyone. But in the same drama there are get together with alcohol among friends and stuff, that's not a problem, as if alcohol was helping them with their health issues or something. Weed on the other hand, is extremely helpful regarding pain management, especially amongst the elderly.
Now when you are high on Weed, and you are driving, you may cause accidents, like alcohol. Although, accidents due to being high on weed is not nearly as frequent as due to alcohol. On top of that, the way alcohol destroys someone's life and their family, weed's negative aspects don't even come close. Not to mention all the creepy and sad sexual assaults and rape and so on. So, if you are demonizing weed, why so much love for alcohol?? It's kinda weird.

It's a Melodrama.

Love her. I was quite shocked to Shin Ye Eun in a Negative role in The Glory. I've always seen her doing Positive role, mostly bright and lovely personalities.
However, when I saw her in The Glory playing the main villainess in her teenage years, I wanted to get inside my monitor and punch her. THAT's HOW GOOD SHE WAS AS THE RUTHLESS CRUEL VILLAINESS!!
All the best luck to her. Although, I hope Other than in GLORY season 2, she doesn't play any cruel villain in any other drama anytime soon, cause I really don't wanna punch her by going inside my monitor or tv for that matter.
