A nice, heart-wrenching and also heart-warming movie. As someone recommended, Just between lovers (Rain or Shine) is a great recommendation, the movie has similarities with an important part of the drama, or rather I should say the drama has that with the film.
Here's the link of the movie with Eng sub, it's divided into 2 parts:

Kim Won Suk is one of the Absolute Best director in K-drama history. Signal, My Mister, Misaeng and Arthdal Chronicles are some of his best works in the last 8-10 years. In the recent past, it seems that he never misses the mark.
So, really hoping that this trend will continue with this one, with IU and Park Bo Gum in the cast as main leads as well.

Don't be embarrassed - it is probably THE favorite romance "trope" in human stories and lore. Jane Austen: "Pride…
True, this trope actually makes the story interesting.
Personally, I don't like cheesy rom-com, however, there are some cheesy rom-com that I like, I mean, I love with all my heart, and when I realize this contradiction, suddenly I feel embarrassed at myself for this duality, this love-hate relationship with cheesy rom-coms that out of embarrassment I feel like hiding under a cave. 😁
Glad to see someone who actually Owns this part of herself with no embarrassment attached.

This is Song Hye Kyo's best project in the recent past after "Encounter". This type of character really goes well with her vibe and expressions. She was pretty much born for this role it seems.
I hope part 2 rocks far more than part 1, which was in it's own right, great. I just wanna point out the Dialogues and the Monologues in the first part, was, in my opinion, Legendary. This is what you call a revenge melodrama.
On Love to Hate You Jan 18, 2023
I am really looking forward to this. Looks like a cheesy rom-com with enemy to lovers trope, which is, I will admit to my embarrassment, one of my most favorite tropes for Rom-com in K-drama.
I really like Yoo Teo, it is kinda a wonder that he hasn't been casted as the main ML in dramas, but rather as villains mostly. I am really happy to see him as the main ML here.
On top of that, Kim Ji Hoon. Dude is just, freaking beautiful to look at, my lord. I've always liked him. He rocks all type of roles he plays.
Kim Ok Bin, well, she is one of my most favorite Movie actress. I first saw her in the movie Thirst, and damn, it was such a challenging role to play, and she aced it with flying colors. Last I saw her was in Arthdal Chronicles, she was Great in that show, such a perfect villainess!!
I want this one to be good, Period.

Almost totally agree... except I love Im Soo-hyang, she can act, she's smart and she possesses a subtle charisma…
Im soo-hyang was great in "Graceful family", Even before this she played good roles in good shows, Five Enough and Iris 2 comes to mind.
However, after GF, all the projects she worked in was just, Abysmal, in terms of both storyline and character development. Hope this one does better, cause right now I feel like she is in a downward slope, which actually is very opposite of what was supposed to happen after GF. She needs to really comeback with this one.

Been waiting for it for about a year, and looks like gotta wait for 5 more months. The fact that the FL is trying to stop her parents from marrying is, however connected or not with the ML's goal to stop the serial killer, is itself quite interesting. Although, it's not really a new trope, it still will likely make the story interesting.
Calling it a suicide doesn't even come close, it's like trying to erase someone's own existence completely from the timeline. Now, that take courage and I suppose an incredible level of despair and nihilism.
Although, parents not officially marrying doesn't necessarily mean the baby won't be born. So, who knows.........

Title Reborn Rich
To me, it was way below decent. How can it be decent when everything which takes place between Ep 2 to Ep 15 became…
To each their own I suppose, I absolutely don't think the ending sort of negates all the achievements upto this point.
However, if you think like that I can understand why, and I have no reason do try doing any rebuttal as this is very Subjective. It's certainly not the best ending I had hoped for, especially with just an 1 episode turnaround, but still it's an ending I am willing to accept as the show was extremely good until this point and the ending theme was relatively satisfactory compared to Kdramas -ending in general, to me at least.

I agree with you that the present day portion in the end probably needed 2 episodes at least. But overall it was…
True. I didn't like end pacing of the ending, leaving so many plotholes. Overall the ending didn't seem bad, and I really haven't read the novel. The story about repentance was actually a good solution to make an ending in the present timeline.
I think turning everything upside down in just 1 episode was kinda uncalled for, as it left us with a lot of unresolved plotholes and viewers received a tremendous shock. And we know, the extreme the shock is, the extreme the overreactions by the viewers. The more invested you are in a drama, the more you react if your expectations aren't met properly.
At the end of the day, we don't know what's happening behind the scenes in the production-sphere. So, I don't wanna judge and entire show simply based on an ending. Because, the actors are not really in control for the most part in which direction the show goes.
Overall, this one has been one of my most memorable drama, with Song Joong Ki's overall presence and Masterclass acting by Lee Sang Min, two actors from whom I expected nothing less.

Title Reborn Rich Spoiler
The ending, for me, was, well, decent, in terms of the final storyline the went with. However, it was rushed, like very . Let's say they had decided to do this from episode 15-16, then it would have been a better ending, for this storyline at least. I think maybe they could have even done like 4 episodes for the present timeline. That way, more loops could have been closed, cause there were many. It kinda felt like a sudden tangent to go into that direction, going back to the present life in just like 1 episode.
The way it finally unfolded, the story became kinda like this: It wasn't his chance to simply be reborn as a Rich grandson, but to repent for his past overlook of a crime, also for concealing it. It was just borrowed time, the experience of which will help him to get things right in the current timeline. A bit of a stretch to live 17 years as someone else for this purpose, Apparently. But it was still digestible. But there were too many loopholes due to the final episode.
Compared to many K-dramas in the last 2 years, this one's finish is still pretty decent, well, for the type of ending they were going for at least. I have quite a low bar for Kdramas' endings, as they are popular for making Disastrous Endings, historically. While I like the ending the writers could muster at the very last moment, just 1 episode to suddenly go from past to present like this just felt not right. It was as if someone in the higher up all of a sudden was like: "Yeah, this is how the ending will be for this drama, you plebs. You guys work for me, so make it happen. I don't want it to be a great ending, I just want it my way", lol. Solid exaggeration, well, we can't really know what really happens inside the production.
I won't take away anything from this drama for the first 15 episodes, it was pure thrill and a joy to watch. If anything, the acting by everyone was Super Solid, Lee sang min's acting as the grandfather was just a masterpiece. As far as the ML, Song Joong Ki did it again. He was great throughout the show. Much love.

I am very excited to see park hae jin 's new drama but in dilemma since the storyline seems quite heavy as per…
Probably not gonna show much in terms of the abuse due to issues with rating. Although child abuse of sexual nature by itself in a story, kinda really makes it Heavy to watch, regardless how vaguely they decide to portray it. I am already kinda upset and feeling awkward tbh.
On Revenge of Others Dec 23, 2022
Other than the rushed ending episode, I liked the show very much. It was suspenseful, intriguing, shocking and was pure thrill. There were some moments where it was just all to convenient and acting was awkward by some characters, however, other than the ending, I won't begrudge them too much.
As far as acting goes, the ML acted extremely well imo. His character is very well suited for the show. It's been a long time since I've actually liked a ML in a high school drama This Much.
