I loved Doctor Stranger. The ending and FL were a little questionable, but LJS was so good and on point that it…
I'd be fine with any of those! He was going to star in a romance drama with Kim Jiwon before enlistment. I was always kind of sad that never happened. If it's going to be romance, I think I'd prefer if he chooses someone he isn't friends with, because it must be awkward to make out with someone you know very well but don't have feelings for.

He's really good friends with IU and Kim Jiwon. He also went to high school with Shin Hyesun, but their romance in HOD was really nice. He was in Witch 2 with Park Eunbin, but I don't think they're close, so that could be fun! His star power with her rising celebrity would be a really good audience draw too!

I don't really have a female lead I really want to see him with. Do you?

Yep! Someone even saw them having a business dinner together a month or so ago. From what I understand, Jongsuk's agency signed a special contract with History D&C. Nobody is sure if it was a merge or not. It's all very unclear. But History D&C is run by a man who LJS is very close to, so it makes sense.

The recent rumor is that Kim Jiwon is going to sign to History D&C too. She's good friends with both Lee Jongsuk and Song Joong Ki, so it's like one big happy family over there!

LJS couldn't be the CEO of his agency while he was enlisted, so he passed the job down to his younger brother while he was away. When he returned, he took his position back. But since then, his agency was switched to History D&C.

i will be pissed off if Big Mouth is the actual Big Mouse, i dont like writers tricked their audiences, just like…
I don't understand why the writers would be tricking the audience if Big Mouth is Big Mouse? They have made PCH ambiguous this entire time. The question has never been "Who is Big Mouse?" It has always been, "Is PCH actually Big Mouse or not?" In the first episode, we find out they have the same nickname. In the second episode, we are told he's BM and it's revealed that he has an uncanny ability to conquer the most powerful inmates. From that point on, he literally says he's Big Mouse and new clues are planted every week to make you wonder. It's really not the fault of the writers if the audience expects something different. They've been pretty blunt about their intentions.

I think you're right. My personal theory (as of right now) is that PCH is BM, knows about the NR Forum's corruption, and wants to bring them all down. Your standard anti-hero set-up. The hospital is injecting certain inmates and making them terminally ill so they can experiment on them. Getting hired by the mayor, taking all that money from Gong Jihoon, agitating him, and being thrown in jail seems like a plan to get on the inside.

Yeah. His manager is opening his own cafe and his old manager (Dong Gu) has been spotted at LJS's last few appearances.

Yoona is part of a different agency with a new movie and the Girl's Generation comeback to promote. When LJS came back from the military, he did 10 magazines (mostly covers) in a year. Since all of this stuff with his agency started happening, he hasn't done any. He has a fan meeting on September 12, so I'm wondering if things will change by then.

From my speculation regarding episode 8:If PCH casually and randomly mention 2-A Gudol Mountain (or something…
That's a good question and one I haven't seen anyone else mention. Based on the preview, I think they will be following up on it in the next episode.

My only guess is that PCH is BM and with the truth serum, may have given them the right location, so his helpers dug it up and moved it just incase. But that's only based on what we know right now.

A lot of things have changed for LJS in the last year. When he went into the military, he owned his own management company. He dissolved his agency back in May, recently moving to/partnering with History D&C. He even switched back to his old manager in the last few months. This is around the time he stopped posting much on social media. It might have something to do with that. I'm sure there is a lot of stuff happening behind the scenes that needs to be arranged before things can run smoothly again.

As far as BM goes, nobody but the director is doing promotion for it. Yoona has other projects she's promoting so she might mention it in passing, but everyone else only has BM to promote, and they aren't. With a pre-produced mystery drama like this, it may have been necessary to have everyone sign an NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) to make sure the ending isn't leaked by anyone. That would make it nearly impossible for them to do interviews about the drama until the final episode airs. Even if an NDA wasn't signed, the likelihood of one of the them saying too much during an interview is pretty likely. I wouldn't be surprised if we see some promotion and interviews after the fact instead.

If it were on tvN, it would have gotten less since it's a cable network and very few of their dramas ever exceed 10%. It's fine where it's at, I think. I do wish it was on Netflix though.

As for KSH, it's true that he has picked some good ones, but One Ordinary Day flew off the radar for most people. I heard it was happening, but I didn't even know it was out until a few weeks ago. He's also done 4 dramas less than JS in the same amount of time. He's done 6, LJS has done 9. And it's worth noting that School 2013, I Hear Your Voice, Pinocchio, W, and While You Were Sleeping are all certifiable classics that have and will continue to stand the test of time. The fact that LJS was able to release a drama a year until his enlistment and have every single one of them be that successful is incredible. That's why he stands above the rest for me.

I loved Doctor Stranger. The ending and FL were a little questionable, but LJS was so good and on point that it didn't really matter. And you're right. He's never picked a drama that wasn't a hit. I don't think any other actor can say that.

PCH maybe a con artist (after all, he was nicknamed Big Mouth), but I still have doubts about him being BM. Wouldn't…
I'm a big believer in the 4th wall theory. In fact, I'm pretty sure I was the one who made it up. PCH is narrating this drama so if he is, in fact, BM... you can't believe a word he says. Con artists tell the truth sometimes, but it's mixed in with a bunch of lies. The whole idea is that Park Changho is such an excellent conman that he fooled the audience through his commentary. A lot of famous books and movies have done this, so I don't know why a drama can't do the same.

All of the things you listed that can't be explained have to do with the tarot card situation, and there is more to that than meets the eye. In ep. 6, when we were first introduced to the tarot/message/confessional thing, we see PCH slip a note in the bible (hoping for a tarot card). In the very next scene, we see the warden get a 3 second phone call that he says is "a card company". This means he knows about the tarot cards being put in the bible and had someone alerting him whenever PCH put a note inside. Was this phone call to help or hurt PCH? We don't know yet.

Now, the warden is in cahoots with Gong Jihoon and the VIPs. Whether he is really on their side is a guess as good as mine, but we know he helps them out and gives them information. But why is that relevant? Because Gong Jihoon knew to target Jerry after he got into a fight with PCH over the tarot card situation. Why would he think he could convince PCH's right-hand man to poison him? He knew they were on bad terms. How is that possible without knowing about the whole operating system?

Then you have the main guard who promised the warden that he'd keep PCH away from the remaining VIP (he didn't), and who also promised Chairman Yang that the church cameras would be turned off while they performed their fake fight... but he didn't. We see him in the warden's office watching the whole thing happening. That means they caught PCH breaking the Virgin Mary statue, which also means they knew to be suspicious of it's replacement. And if that isn't enough, they could also see PCH getting the USB drive out of the statue later on. At that point, the warden was back and watching PCH just a scene or two before he took it. And in that scene, PCH stares directly at the camera closest to him, like he knows the warden is watching. Then he kicks the ball and hits Chairman Yang in the head with it, a possible message to the warden. perhaps?

What if the tarot cards have the BM symbol on the back because they are FOR him, not FROM him? What if PCH was receiving messages from a mystery source and he just wants to know who's doing it? It could even be a trap PCH set up. The same episode it was revealed, he laughed at the camera and said he fooled ALL of us. That con included the VIP's, Gong Jihoon, Chairman Yang, the warden, the audience, etc. And that's who I just mentioned is involved in the tarot card situation. That storyline was so easily dropped into our lap and shared with no discretion that there is absolutely no way we know the truth yet.

As for PCH waiting for BM to bail him out of the mental hospital... did BM bail him out? No. They introduced the idea that BM has helpers who do things for him. Were they sent by BM or are they constantly looking out for him? What if PCH is BM and that's why they made sure to get him out? That's a lot of trouble they went through and a lot of special treatment. He was bailed out and met with a getaway car, a luxury car to drive, a free pass through the checkpoint, a really nice hotel, money, clothes, a phone, etc. That is, no doubt, how BM is treated by the very same people. So are we watching BM in action, or is PCH just getting BM treatment? I don't know. Who can tell?

When someone says the plot is messy, it usually means they just don't get it. It's nearly impossible to judge…
Well, I can tell you have a temper.

I don't have to know someone to suggest that if you are skipping around in the drama and not understanding some of the basic plot as a result, that maybe this one isn't worth your time. If you want to say the plot is messy, I'm going to challenge you on that. If your response is admitting that you don't pay that much attention, I'm going to suggest you stop watching.

Slandering me in two separate comments for saying you should find another drama to watch if you're bored is a kindergarten-level temper tantrum. Get a grip.

I dare to say something I didn't like in the drama and some Jerks reply to my comment stop watch and go watch…
I'm not a jerk, but you're acting like one for trying to drag me because my post made you angry. You said things about the show that weren't true, so I corrected you. Then you told me the reason you can't put 2-and-2 together is because you skip a lot of the scenes. You said you don't care enough to watch because you find it boring. I suggested the show wasn't for you and if not, you should watch something else. If you are going to say the plot is messy, or that BM is behind all the shady stuff going on because you skip around out of boredom, be prepared for people to suggest you do something better with your time!

Constructive criticism and genuine complaints are fine. You don't have to think a drama is perfect to comment, but you do have to make sense.

Its a great theory but please do it in spoiler so that the people are just starting don't accidentally spoil themselves.
I always put things behind a spoiler wall until a few days after the new episodes air. After that, I don't think it's fair to put everything behind a wall for people who know they shouldn't be reading the comment section anyway. My theory is paragraphs long and starts with, "I got requests to share my theory". If someone who hasn't watched the show reads the whole thing and feels spoiled after that, it really isn't my fault.
