ALS is a terrible illness. I have come across a lot of dramas/movies and YouTube videos about it and I always end up crying buckets because of how bad I feel for people who have ALS and their family and friends.

There is no cure and the person slowly loses the ability to do things we take for granted like walking, grabbing stuff, eating, ... In the last stage the person is not even able to speak or move at all. Its like being stuck inside your own body...must be awful to feel that powerless. T T

2 - There is no such thing as half stupid or half smart, you are either smart, stupid or have an average intelligence. But the writers tried to portray the FL as smart and then the next moment she was doing something extremely stupid. They should have just portrayed her as having an average IQ for some consistency.

3 - Concubine Yang herself is not supposed to be that powerful, and she only has her back up...she is not her. Also, I finished this drama a while ago but I think even after the concubine falls from grace the woman is still able to command people at will.

4 - Please, do finish first and then come back to tell me what you thought about the ending.

One of the messiest daily dramas I have ever watched. The writer definitely did not know where he/she wanted to go with the story and just kept adding/removing stuff and characters randomly.

The most obvious flaw is one that has already been discussed several times - the ML simply becomes a supporting character and between eps 70-80 his character just leaves and never comes back. That was supposed to be the ML. And they just removed his character like he was some evil supporting character that has already played his role and is not needed anymore.

I honestly kept watching for the romance between Ji Eun and Jung Min and because I was out of dramas to watch.

I dropped DOTS, but I watched this one until the end even tho it has a lot more episodes. I think both the medical part and the romance here are better.

I am very confused about how I feel about this drama. Sometimes I found it interesting, other times I felt it was dragging and the plot had no clear direction.

Overall it left me with a good feeling as I liked how the FL was kind, professional and knew how to handle tough situations and at the same time was humble and was not looking for recognition, instead she just wanted to save people...the ML was similar, although he was a little more ambitious in his work compared to her, his priority was always to save people.

Their romance was very nice to watch as they both had a really different personality from the usual main leads and I liked how they trusted each other and did not let their busy lifestyle affect their relationship. The supporting characters and the other 2 couples were also interesting. The ML’s sister was the best...no one dared to mess with her or people close to her. XD

I also liked most of the situations in the hospital that showed how the FL developed as both a doctor and as a person. I have a feeling the writers were not sure if they wanted to focus on that or on the romance which is probably why I found the drama to be inconsistent at times.

With that said, this was still one of the best medical dramas I have watched in a while.

This is kind of cliché and unrealistic BUT if you are looking for something sweet with a lot of romantic scenes and not too much drama....then you might want to give this one a try.

Its not a bad drama. But if you are looking specifically for romance then you will be skipping 95% of the scenes. And like I said the ML and his love die at the end so...definitely dont watch for the romance or you will feel extremely frustrated.

Yeah, I was hoping she would at least get the retrial to clear her name and hopefully hear him call her "mother". But I knew that would not happen the moment the clowns started looking into his family. Sigh

This is very degrading to women. At first, although the FL was greedy and seduced men for her own benefit, she had principles and dignity. She did not sleep around and she did not want to have an affair so she would keep rejecting a man if he already had a girlfriend/wife.

But by the end of the drama she has nothing left, not even her dignity. And one could argue that that is the lesson the drama is trying to teach...except most men in the drama did way worse things and never really had consequences while the FL ends up in the worst situation possible. Almost like the lesson to be learned is that men can do whatever they want but women have to be prim and proper, they cannot be greedy and they cannot be unfaithful or they will not have a nice ending.

Every woman in this drama was either being cheated on or was left with the men that liked the FL and now suddenly like them.

I did not need this drama to teach me that money should not be the most important and that you should value a person for who they are and not what they own...and in fact it didn't. It just taught me that women can never get away with what men do without a second thought and that if you have a married boss that is obsessed with you and wants to take you to bed...he will take you to bed, whether you want it or not.

Just don't waste your time on this. It’s not worth it.

Technically it was real at first and she had it surgically removed. But then she would use a fake one when she went to visit her family so that she would look exactly the same and they would not wonder what she has been up to.

I personally have to disagree. I watched the original and liked it but I think I liked this one even more. I hate when the supporting couples take the screen time. I do agree that they lacked some development in this version, but I was not watching for them anyway and I much rather have underdeveloped supporting characters than the main leads not getting enough screen time because of them. There is nothing worse than watching a drama that has underdeveloped main leads or main leads that have no back story because the writers added way too many characters to the story.

There have been quite a few lakorns I watched in the past that the main leads would get 10-15 minutes of screen time per episode at most and I would find myself skipping huge chunks of the episodes because I was bored.

With that said, I still think it is worth watching the original version. I might have actually liked that one better but since I watched it a few years ago, its hard to compare with this version. At the same time, had I watched it recently, I would be extremely bored watching this remake as I would find myself comparing both all the time and the original would win by default just because it was a new experience when I watched it while the remake is just the same story with different actors. Reason why I rarely watch remakes.

P.S. - I am just sharing my opinion and have no intention of offending you. We agree on one thing at least - the original was good.
