I'm so excited and hope this is as good as "Weightlifting Fairy". But can we get a lil bit real here... this is…
Ikr? I just finished watching My Supernatural Power and this actress is even thinner than the one that played in the Korean version of this drama. You want me to believe that someone with zero muscle is a weightlifter?? lol
ok this is a very unpopular opinion that i'm almost scared to say it lol. I'm caught up now and honestly when…
I actually think so too. Its not like they have no chemistry at all as a possible couple, but they would just be a lot better as besties. Also, we already know she is going to end up with Su Ho, so why torture the SML and have the cliché love triangle when they could make them just have an awesome friendship? I want all 3 of them to be on good terms.
I think he would make a good pairing with Soo Jin. They both have a strong personality and it would be funny to see their love-hate relationship. XD
Even the most draggy dramas i dont regret watching, but this one i do definitely regret watching and wish i could…
Yeah, I could tell she would end up with the ex after watching just the first episode. Very predictable. The drama definitely does not deliver what it promises in the trailer/summary.
Oh well, I will leave it alone for now and if I have nothing else to watch I will go back to it and watch with while skipping a lot.
I watched this in a binge lol mainly for cha and chorm and as you I pittied her at the end...
Yeah, it has been over 2 years since I watched it but I still remember the plot and the way it ended. I have watched hundreds of dramas since then but the fact that I still remember this one means that it left a strong impression on me.
Idk, maybe it is because I have watched 2 or 3 Chinese dramas in 2020 alone that were about voice acting. I found this one quite boring. There was nothing new to it, it felt just like another drama.
I do have to admit tho that the ending scene was cute. :3
It had a great start but then it felt like the writers were not sure where they wanted to take the story.
As soon as the main leads got together they became supporting characters and the supporting characters became the leads for at least 1 episode each. The whole mermaid thing was also kind of buried and would only come out in conversations here and there until the last episode. And even by the end things were not properly explained or wrapped up and we are left with the question: wait, thats it??
Unless there is a second season, the drama as a whole felt like an unfinished story with a rushed ending. For now I will give it a 6/10 and consider changing the rating if there is another season later on.
why do you have complain about every drama you watch you always have an excuse to talk bad about this drama when…
Yeah. Definitely worth watching but with its flaws. I also hated the wife, which means the actress did a great job portraying her. I think the thing that annoyed me the most was how she caused so much pain to her husband for her selfish reasons and how it took so long for him to find out (technically for the second time) that he had a snake at home. I also thought her sentence was too light. Oh well, at least Da Bin wont be raised to be like her, that was a relief.
where did you watch? Im in the mood of Lakorns just finishhed fah mee tawan
Yeah, muse, ohsweethaven and neko are the most popular fansubs for lakorns. Neko posts regularly, even daily when she is working on several projects at the same time. Totally recommend her. She has been subbing for quite some time so there is a huge amount of lakorns at her website. Hope you have fun! ^^
where did you watch? Im in the mood of Lakorns just finishhed fah mee tawan
Fah mee tawan was subbed by ohsweethaven, I am surprised you know about them but not anout Neko who is another very popular Thai fansubber. So yeah, search for nekomeowmeow. Thats where you will find this drama and many other lakorns.
Where did u watch it and did u watch it with English subtitles?
I watched the first episode with English subtitles but the people subbing it have not been updating it for over a year so I have not gone back to it. Only the first 2 episodes are subbed and I have no idea when or even if the other episodes will get subbed.
why do you have complain about every drama you watch you always have an excuse to talk bad about this drama when…
Why? Because that is what MDL comments/reviews is here for. For people to share their opinion. Also, you must have missed the part where I said "one of the best ones from 2020".
I did like this drama, but I am not the type to gloss over faults in favor of the good things. This was a great drama, but it was not perfect.
And I dont have excuses to talk bad about dramas, its called an OPINION. The only excuses I am giving here are in reply to your distasteful comment, something I should not even have to do.
Since we are on the topic, which dramas did I complain about? Because I am certain its not "every drama I watch".
I loved some things about this drama, especially the time when the male lead was the "wolf boy". But the never-ending drama and split ups just because of this character that they could have gotten rid of if they played it smart really bothered me.
And then the ending came, and once again, the Chinese writers did not disappoint. They went the same route they go for so many other historical dramas. Sigh
Overall it was a great one, one of the best ones from 2020 BUT, and there is always a BUT, I have 2 small things that bothered me.
1 - How the characters made some decisions that were not so logical just for the sake of dragging things so this drama could be 16 episodes long;
2 - When I first started watching, romance was one of the genres added on this page. Unfortunately, there is none. Well, maybe there is some slight romance, especially if you consider the supporting characters, but not really for the main leads or between the main leads. At the end there are some hints here and there about a possible romance, but nothing too concrete. That was kind of a bummer for me. I dont necessarily need romance in this kind of drama, sometimes romance just ruins the story. But if I am going in thinking there will be some romance and then there isnt, I feel disappointed. :/

Thank you for sharing your opinion with me. :)
At this rate, I will either drop it or watch it with a lot of skipping while waiting for the other dramas to be subbed.
The ratings and reviews/comments also make me believe it does not get "better".
I do have to admit tho that the ending scene was cute. :3

Glad my comments are helping someone. Just got a reply to one of my comments today asking me why I complain about EVERY drama I watch. XD
