That sucks then because here he does not have a good ending either and he is more of a supporting character since he does not show up that much. Maybe in a future drama he will get a lead role and his deserved happy ending.

Another drama that was not fully subbed and might never be. Sigh
I have not started it and I probably wont since the last ep subbed is ep 11 and it has been like half a year since the subs stopped.

I also had that feeling since ep1, he just did not look at her the way a brother would. Him being so quiet, his eyes betrayed him. The look on his eyes always gave away his feelings for her, we just did not know the details and how sad it would be. I have nothing against the male lead, but after knowing all the details and the story behind everything, I kinda wished she would end up with RQ. I felt so bad for him. T_T

Yup. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. There is so much more about him and their relationship that you don’t know yet. Be patient tho. Some things will legit only be revealed in the last episode, and have a box of tissue paper next to you, you might need it.

Thank you! Yes, watching it while it was airing just made it much better, that is why I recommended people who are going to start now that is fully subbed, to not binge watch it.

It is from a facebook group. You have to join the group and be accepted first. I cannot give you the link because that is not allowed by their rules but search facebook for Chinese and English Drama. This is the page that manages that group.

Unfortunately the group was just taken down and they are not sure if they will be able to get it back so you might have to be patient. What I can do is trying to look through my history for the last 2 episodes since they were uploaded on google drive and not facebook. If I find them, I will send them to you in a private message.

The manga is complete? I have only found 25 chapters translated and the story did not seem complete, unless you are talking about the raws. But even the raws, I checked mangaupdates which I use as reference when I want to know these things and it says that in Japan 12 volumes have come out but it is still ongoing.

Yeah, but I have actually watched more tragedy chinese dramas than open ending, so I was caught off guard at the time.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I don’t want to spoil it for you but let’s just say her character will see some evolution in the next episodes, maybe just not as strong as she was first presented to us, so yeah, in that sense, her character became kind of a disappointment.

... she legit only gets together with him at the middle of the last episode, then you have the rushed ending with a wedding and a kid. Like seriously, I love happy endings, but this one was just so rushed that I could not even enjoy it. We did not get to see more than just a few minutes of them as a couple, while I had to spend hours watching her dating 4 other guys who I knew from the beginning were never the endgame. The whole fake pregnancy thing was completely unnecessary. I would have rather had those last few episodes show the main leads as a couple. That was the least we deserved after having to put up with watching her with 4 other guys for 24 episodes or so.

So yeah, I enjoyed parts of it or I would not have finished it, but it really is far from being a great drama and I doubt I will ever re-watch it.

I mean, it’s not a bad drama BUT the story is so dumb and predictable. You can tell from episode 1 who she is going to end up with and how the drama is going to end, yet you have to go through the whole thing seeing her date 4 other guys and... (spoiler below)

Other than advertising the manga, I cannot see any other reason why someone would make an anime, movie or drama out of an incomplete story. That is something that annoys me about jdramas. There is a high chance you will spend several hours watching something that does not have a conclusion.

Although I mainly watch korean dramas and movies for the romance, as long as the story is well done, I like all kinds of movies. And I have always liked crime and law related dramas/movies. This seems like an interesting pick to watch with my family. Might give it a try, if and when I do, I will come back to share my thoughts on it.

How far in the story are you? I have finished it and found it interesting as a whole, but I have to admit that the beginning was probably the most interesting part of the story and made me believe things were going to go in a certain direction, but I was completely fooled. It was nothing like I expected, but that is not necessarily bad.
