Someone has started subtitling on YouTube for the China Zone channel.
Thank you. It seems only the first episode is subbed so far but since this started airing just this month, I will be patient and wait for it to be all subbed before I start watching.
Unfortunately, I have to say this followed the same path many other kdramas do. It had an interesting start, kept it going for at least the first half but then it started to use some clichés that you were already expecting before it even happened. The ending was lacking, it was not bad but it was nothing special either. But overall it was still an enjoyable drama.
P.S. - The only similarity between this and the movie is the fact that she regularly changes into a different person. So liking one does not necessarily mean you will like the other. I thought the movie was ok but it was not my cup of tea. For me the drama was a little better. You might think the opposite way or thing they are both equally good/bad.
There were some sweet moments and comic relief but most of it was pure frustration. The characters were not only annoying but some of them, mostly the main leads, were not consistent. Their behaviour did not match their personality or at least what was showed to us as being their personality in the beginning. One of the things that tilted me was how the male lead kept complaining about the female lead spending time with other men even if there were other people there and they were not alone, when he himself went around with his "lover" openly for anyone to see when people already knew he was married to someone else. His indecision and lack of action was disrespectful to both the female lead and the other woman. He also showed he was not able to keep most of his promises and failed in his duty of protecting the female lead most of the time.
I am sorry that I did not see this as wonderful like some people did, but this is definitely not the kind of romance I enjoy. In my opinion, the sweet moments were not enough to compensate for the painful ones.
You’re welcome! Me too. When they break up at the end or one of them dies I get this feeling as if all the time I spent watching it was for nothing. And I cry easily too so I try to stay way from the Tragedy tag. Happy endings with the main leads together are just what I want.
I am on episode 5 and the romance is ok but nothing special and the rest of the story and characters are boring me to death. Should I keep watching?
Btw, the synopsis is not correct. She did not have feelings for the Captain when they met, only him, completely one-sided and the naked man with white pants is also wrong, he is fully dressed (not even sure the pants he was wearing were white), she is the one who is naked. Also, her grandmother supposed suicide was not from poisoning either. I am sure if I keep reading there will be more things that do not correspond to the actual plot.
I liked it until like ep 15 but then got tired of the misunderstandings, of the female lead hurting herself and the male lead by trying to help other people, failing in the process and hurting more people. I mean, its one thing to be kind, its another thing to let people use you, and worse, to hurt the people you love. The ending was nice but overall I was not very pleased with most of the characters. I saw some really dumb decisions made by almost all of the characters.
6.5/10 and its only because of the first part and some scenes from the second part.
It was predictable but was definitely happy and sweet. If you will feel satisfied depends on your expectations and how many dramas you have watched but I think there is a high chance you will like it.
Better than most thai dramas, just wished I did not have to wait soooo long for them to finally be together. But with her already being married its good they did not turn their romance into something like an affair.
When I got to episode 11 I thought the previous comments about how crazy it went from there on were exaggerated. I mean, they are finally together, what could go wrong, right? Well, everything.
They used the last 4 episodes, specially the last one, to throw a bunch of clichés at us to the point it was ridiculous. With a promising plot that was nothing new but that had everything to be an interesting story and with good actors, a handsome male lead, even a cute baby, how could you mess it up?!
That one is more of a lakorn, with slap kiss at the beginning, and plot twists in the journey. But overall it…
Yes, I have. I think I watched it 1-2 months ago. I also thought the male lead in that one was very nice. I don’t remember the details as I have watched many other dramas since then but I think the male lead was one of the few things I liked about Game Sanaeha. I remember being quite annoyed and fast-forwarding a lot either because I was bored or because the characters on screen were annoying. Btw, James Jirayu's face is perfect to play the nice male lead. His facial features make him look like a kind person even without him doing anything . XD
I liked the first half or so but then felt quite bored and kept fast-forwarding and even skipped the last couple of episodes just to watch the last episode and get it over with. I felt there were a few reasons for this: the focus on the main lead’s was not enough, the romance was very slow paced, the villains kept stealing screen time, the second "couple" was not interesting enough, and maybe there were too many episodes. I mean, I liked it and the ending was satisfying but I felt it had potential to be a lot better.
That one is more of a lakorn, with slap kiss at the beginning, and plot twists in the journey. But overall it…
Yeah, he was definitely one of the best male leads I have seen in a thai drama. Most of them are either playboys, possessive of the female lead, force the female lead into sexual acts, violent or all of those together. It was nice to see for once a male lead that did not only say he loves her but showed it through his actions. He was caring and patient and the most important - he respected her. In real life, relationships where one or both partners are disrespectful to the other do not work. They either break up or stay together but are unhappy.
Considering the female lead is not an adult yet, the age gap and the ethic involved in the male lead’s job, it was very appropriate for this to be a slow paced romance. Usually I have no patience for slow paced romances, but this one needed that. Most of the drama is focused on friendship and their school life rather than the romance between the main leads, although it is there, it is not the focus of the story. Then for the later episodes the romance takes a bigger part of the plot. Another thing that I was pleased with is that even though this aired on Channel 3 and there was an age gap, they did not use camera angles to give us fake kisses. You can see they actually kiss, although this does not happen many times and its only in the last few episodes.
Overall it was a nice drama, different from the usual thai drama in many ways. Not perfect, but it deserves it’s rating since it was better than the average thai drama.
Yeah, I think I will stay away from this one. It has everything needed for a terrible plot with most likely a cheating male lead and a female lead that in the end will forgive him because he "loves" her.
Wow, I was amazed at how bad this was. Never seen such a useless male lead. It is one thing to be filial and I completely support that we should be respectful and obedient to our parents but there is a limit and the limit is when being filial puts at risk one of our basic rights - free will. The male lead was his crazy mother lap dog. He abandoned the woman he says he loves, that is most likely pregnant with his child, to marry a mentally ill woman that does not even know what marriage means, just because his mother told him to do that. And don’t get me wrong, the problem was not the fact she was mentally ill, in fact with so many crazy characters she looked sane in comparison, the problem was that there was no love in this marriage. Had the male lead actually loved her, I would be ok with it. The problem is it was a forced marriage and he already had a "wife" and son on the way.
So I ended up not watching all of it and skipped to the last episode just to see the ending and the only thoughts I have after watching this were: someone, please, get that kid way from the crazy grandmother before he becomes like his father, or worse.
Yeah, its THIS BAD, so if you have something else to watch, go watch it. I doubt it can be any worse than this one.
This is the kind of slap kiss lakorn that make lakorns in general have a bad image compared to dramas from other asian countries. The misunderstanding lasted for so long that by the time it was cleared I was already done with this. Forgiveness is one thing, another thing is to have a relationship with someone who did so many bad things. I know the male lead was not downright bad and was blinded by revenge and can understand his pain considering what happened to his sister, but he did a lot of things that were not only a crime but also showed a lot of disrespect towards other people, mainly the female lead. The "romance" this offers is not a healthy one and in real life people would not say she was in love with the male lead but that she was suffering from stockholm syndrome.
One positive thing, probably the only one I can think of right now, is the character of Ji. In any other lakorn she would have been the crazy stalker girlfriend/ex-girlfriend that would constantly seduce the male lead and attack the female lead. But Ji was different, she was a selfless person that was beside the male lead as a friend, helped him and other people in many ways and never did anything selfish that would hurt other people.
