Jdrama, yes, kdrama is usually 2 eps per week but yeah, Chinese dramas usually have a lot more episodes but air for shorter times because there are new episodes everyday instead of once or twice a week.

Unfortunately, yes. It was a pretty good one too, compared to eps 13 and 14 that wasted too much screen time on the supporting characters.

Watching Chinese dramas you never know what you will get. Usually you get 2 eps a day but then some days they give you 1 (or none) and then near the end they release the last 6 episodes all on the same day.

I did not watch the video you shared to avoid spoilers but I would not be surprised.

She is in love with him, the kind that is a bit obsessive and she does not like seeing him sacrifice so much for a woman she thinks does not deserve him. If he was doing all this for her then she would gladly accept it.

I think we will be seeing more and more of her trying to get rid of the empress and when the emperor finds out and cuts ties with her, she will probably be so angry that she will direct her hatred towards him too. By the way he has told her off so many times when she crosses the line, I'm pretty sure when he finds out she is trying to hurt the empress, he will not tell her off in a kind manner.

Today's episodes were a bit boring for me. A big chunk of the screen time was given to the supporting characters. There were a few scenes with the FL that I liked but they were very little. Hopefully tomorrow's episodes will be more interesting.

I honestly think that aside from the obvious (love and faithfulness) communication and trust are essential for a relationship to work.

If you don´t talk, misunderstandings will happen. If you cannot trust him/her, you can never feel at peace when the other person is not around or when he/she says something. You will always be second guessing everything. Not healthy at all.

I really want to knock some common sense into the male lead...the way he is choosing to protect her is only causing her more pain and giving the upper hand to the enemy. Communication is essential for any relationship to work. She will eventually find the truth anyway, she will just be in pain while she doesn´t and will be in even more pain when she does.

The FL is no better. Girl, you're way too innocent (dumb) for your own good.

This is all so frustrating but at the same time I love to hate this drama, if that makes sense.

Although this was not my cup of tea (the plot was not really to my taste and there were way too many characters), one thing is for sure - they must have had a big budget cause almost all of the big actors and actresses that usually play main leads or 2nd main leads are all here. ^^'

Yes and it seems like she was the second female lead there but I watched it back in 2023 and do not really remember her. But to be fair I have not started watching this one yet so maybe when I see her face I will find her familiar.

I know the actor playing the male lead but the actress is new to me. It seems like she has played supporting characters in some dramas I have watched but I don´t remember her. ^^'

Doesn´t really matter. As long as the plot is good I will watch it even if the actors are not that well-known. They all need to start somewhere.

Yeah. I liked their first interactions then it just went downhill from there. A bunch of subplots and supporting characters that I could not care less about taking screen time.

Exactly. Although it was not my cup of tea, I watched it because of those same reasons you mentioned while this one felt like a chore I had to finish, I kept putting it on hold and skipping scenes.

I already did. I was talking about how there is no preview at the end of the episodes. How I wish there was but at the same time it would only make it harder to wait a full week for new episodes.

I don't know why I even gave this a chance (or maybe I do - for the cast?) when I did not even like Love in Pavilion that much. The plot is just not my cup of tea with too many supporting characters and annoying subplots. It felt almost like re-watching the previous one...but worse. Even the ending is as disappointing. I guess this type of drama is just not for me.

Ugh, no preview. Not sure if that is good or bad.

I kinda want a sneak peek at the next episodes but it would also make me want to watch it right away when I know I would have to wait another week to watch. ^^'

That is just your assumption. I have been watching kdramas for 15 years so I was making a guess based on my experience watching kdramas + what was revealed by the summary. You just assumed that I meant that was the whole plot, I never said it was. I even admitted it was just the plot setup in my first reply to you. Did you even read it?

You made out whatever you wanted out of my initial and following comments and accused me of making people stay away from this drama, which I did not. You just kept picking at my words and making it seem like I was saying something I wasn't.

My first comment was simply a guess, that turned out to be right and that is revealed right away so it is not even a spoiler. You made this whole thing bigger than it needed to be. I also can't with people like you that go around picking at other people's words so let's do each other a favor and stop it here like you said.

She definitely was no saint but I feel like her character for most of the late half was better than they initially made her out to be. I definitely saw her as someone as bad if not worse than her brother but later on she helped the FL out of prison, decided to leave on her own and did not want to get involved in her brother's mess anymore. Also, when the ML made it clear he did not love her, she gave up on trying to rape him, while the other guy who raped...AND made her pregnant, I am sure she told him no many times and he did not care.

And at the end of the day, no matter what, no one, even the most evil person, deserves to be raped. So yes, by the end I did feel sorry for her.

My assumption was right so...how is it misinformation? Plus, I very clearly stated 2 things in my first comment:
1st - I had not started watching it yet;
2nd - I was GUESSING.

This made it easy to understand for anyone reading that I was not making a statement, it was just my opinion and a guess based on the summary.

Also, if you read the other person's comment, that person clearly said this guess was going around on social media, so it was not my comment that stopped them from watching. They said they would wait for the drama to finish not that they would not watch at all, much less because of my comment. And finally, if you read my reply, I end by saying they should still give it a try so you saying I'm stopping anyone from watching because of my comment is unfair to say the least.

So...my guess is not really a spoiler, we know her identity from episode 1 but if you do not want something like a destined love kind of thing, then this really is not for you, the whole premise is that they are destined for each other. ^^'
With that said, I don't think there will be reincarnations and stuff like that for their story particularly so maybe still give it a try, specially if you are a Se Jeong fan like me.

I never said I wouldn't watch it, it was just a guess before I did. I just finished watching the first 2 episodes. What I meant is that the summary is giving away so much that I was able to guess as much. Tho, it really is just a setup like you said since her real identity is revealed to us pretty much right away. I will keep watching, hopefully I will be surprised by other plot devices, like the Left Minister's daughter, she seems like a sencond FL that will surprise me, not cliché at all.

I have not even started watching but just from the summary I'm just going to guess the she IS the crown princess and does not just look like her. Because the whole amnesia + looking exactly like her + it happens to be with her that the sould exchange happens...seems quite predictable.
