Started well but lost me at some point. The writing is not good enough. The way her character and some other characters were written made them not convincing. Also, romance should not even be a genre, maybe a tag (slight romance), it is there but it is overshadowed by everything else that is going on.

The idea was good and this could have been a great drama with some good plot and character writing but that did not happen so this is yet another kdrama from recent years that goes to the average pile.

This was so disappointing that by the end my only though was: I feel bad for the Empress. Which is something I never thought would happen after watching just the first few episodes. ^^'

Exactly. And we knew nothing about these people and their relationships so we could not care less if one of them died.

I have watched other series that go back between past and present while telling the story but they were able to keep me interested and had less characters so it was easier to connect with them but here we are just shown a bunch of people we know nothing about running from zombies that just happened to exist. I mean...who are the main characters? Is he her boyfriend...wait , are they not dating anymore? Oh, so I guess that one is her brother. And about this other person...a friend? Where did the zombies come from?

A lot of the time I just felt like someone who arrived late to a meeting and had no idea what is currently being discussed and how they got there. ^^'

I do not understand why so many people said this was good. I mean, it is watchable but it has way too much going on.

Usually the group of survivors is smaller. There are so many characters that you feel lost as to who is who and what they are to each other. Since their backstories are not given from the start, for a while you are lost as to who they are and it is hard to connect to the characters.

Also, why are there so many guys? In one scene there is like 1 girl and 10 guys and in many others there are only guys. I am not sure if they were trying to appeal to the BL public considering many of the actors are usually in BLs or if they just think girls are dumber so there are less female survivors. Making them yell while running knowing it gets the zombies attention. SMH

I usually like almost anything with zombies, thrillers, survival kind of stuff but this one was pretty boring for me, I just did not like the characters. In other series there will be characters I like, characters I hate, here I feel nothing, they could all be dead by the end and I would not care.

I mean, it is not bad but I am having a hard time taking it seriously when the drama does not take itself seriously to begin with. I smiled at one or two scenes but comedy in dramas is something that has to be on point and not overdone for me to enjoy it.

I have watched 4 episodes so far and I can't really connect to the story or characters because everything feels like a joke, literally. ^^'

Will give it a few more episodes. Maybe I will get used to it.

Don´t waste your time. This is quite boring and the FL is unlikable. If the roles were reversed and it was a man doing what she is doing to women, then everyone would be destroying this. Let's not have double standards and think what the FL is doing is acceptable.

First of all, I'm sorry that you went through that.

And yes, without spoiling much, there is justice served here BUT the road to it is very bumpy. Most of the drama is seeing the FL dealing with the trauma and being victimized over and over again. If you think you can handle that part then yes...there is justice at the end.

Not a drama I would say I enjoyed watching but definitely one that accurately portrayed a sexual assault case and everything the victim has to go through.

Not something I would recommend to someone who has been a victim of sexual abuse tho. I imagine it would be triggering.

If there is a season 2 I agree it is a good ending. I am not really a fan of open endings. ^^'

I was enjoying it and thinking it was pretty good for a short drama but near the end, maybe the last 5-10 episodes or so, it just stopped making sense and became quite pointless. The ending was also meh. Ruined what could have been on of the best short dramas I have watched.

Yeah, I know that. Which is why I said she did not have the courage to tell him the truth. And then him saying that eveyone else wanted the GMD and she was the only one who had the opportunity to take it and didn't only made it worse for her. No way she could ask for the GMD after he said that.

So far it seems like the only reason they are going through all this is because she did not have the courage to tell him the truth. That without it she will die.

I have no doubt that even if he needed it himself he would have given it to her without a second thought, even if it meant breaking the promise he made to his master.

But then we would not have much to keep the drama going right, so they have to come up with ways to drag things.

Great first half or so. The plot was a bit different than usual, the main leads nailed their roles, there were so many things I liked.

But I felt that around half way it became too focused on the business part, so much so that by the last episode they had to rush to tie some loose ends and wrap up the drama, which made the ending a bit lackluster.

It was a good modern day drama with amazing acting and a plot that brought something new to the table. Zhao Lu Si definitely helped carrying this one tho. Without her I do not think I would have sticked until the end after it got so business focused.

Yeah, probably a mix of that one with the one from Moonlight Mystique. I watched Ashes of Love a while go and that was probably why I did not think of that one.

If I knew what was coming in ep 23, I would have waited for Monday to binge-watch. The teasers at the end of ep 22 left me so anxious. >.<

Definitely do when you have time. Not only Sa Ding Ding, but there is a male singer that also did a great job. The osts are pretty good, so is the plot, the acting, the love stories.

Yeah, same. I listen to it while driving all the time. It was her voice and singing style that I found familiar, probably not the song per say. Have you watched The Starry Love? It also has some amazings osts, including at least one by her. The drama itself is also pretty good. One of my favorite in the xianxia genre.

Not exactly that one because I listen to that one ALL THE TIME. Maybe it did not remind me of a specific song but more like the vibe.

Sa Ding Ding has a unique voice, love her songs from Monlight Mystique and The Starry Love. Pretty sure I have more songs but those 2 dramas had some amazing ones.
