The synopsis pretty much tells you everything that happens, to the point I do not even feel like watching anymore. At least they could have stopped at the part where it says he goes missing and leave the rest for us to find out. :(
I think you missed my point. What left me confused was why the actors staged that kiss and their lips did not touch. I was not talking about the characters or their feelings at that moment. And there are fake kisses that you are not sure if it is a fake kiss, but the one they did here was painfully obvious because with the angle their heads were it was just impossible for them to be kissing. I would rather have no kiss than something so lazy.
They do kiss properly in the last episode but the first kiss was so fake...their lips did not even touch, the camera angle was made to look like they were kissing but we saw nothing. I am still confused why they did that. I mean, if one of them had covid, they would not be filming in the first place. Not sure why they would fake a kiss and then do it for real later on.
Interesting idea but the execution did not meet my expectations.
And I did not get what was the point of a painfully obvious fake kiss around ep 11 or 12 if later the actors would actually kiss, and it was not even a short one too. I thought maybe one of them, probably him since I have seen her kiss in other dramas, had a no-kiss clause in the contract but that did not seem to be the case.
This had everything to be a great drama, but it was just an average one. :/
People be here excusing their behavior like it’s no big deal. For me, 90% of the characters are unlikable and I cannot relate to them on any level. They are immoral, irresponsible, toxic and sometimes just right down stupid. Nothing to like about them. And no, I am not just talking about the main leads. Almost every character in this drama is trash.
some ppl compare this to vincenzo, unlike vincenzo that i couldn't get past the first ep, this drama was pretty…
I have yet to watch this one but as someone who watched Vincenzo, I can tell you that I also almost dropped it. Had I not pushed forward and I would not have know what I was losing.
For me, Vincenzo only got interesting at the end of the 3rd episode. After that it only got better and better. Some dramas don’t start with a bang but are able to consistently keep you hooked to it if you give it a chance. Vincenzo was like that to me. A drama that I almost dropped....but then it became one of my favorite in the genre.
it blows my mind how prudish japanese dramas are ( lakorn too ) when you know of crazy they are with the adult…
I have watched a few japanese dramas and also lakorns that had steamy kisses but yeah, a lot of them still need to work on that. Sometimes it is a contractual thing. I know of a few actors that only accept to star in a drama if there are no kisses, or only fake kisses or pecks.
I think for now I will put this drama on hold as sadly I find myself skipping most of the drama except for the…
I thought I was the only one. I have watched all the episodes that came out in one go not because I felt like binge-watching but because I kept skipping scenes. So far I am not really feeling it. Maybe it will get better after what happened at the end of episode 4 but my expectations are very low.
No one is forcing you to watch it, leave it for those who appreciate this drama.😊
I am also not a native English speaker but I think what you said definitely sounded passive-aggressive. The smiley might have made it even worse in this context. ^^'
Spineless fl i can't deal with...i think u saved me from being pissed off and wanting my time back!
That is one of the main reasons I write these long comments that could almost be reviews. Hoping to save someone else’s time since I cannot get mine back anymore. ^^'
Although I did enjoy it to some degree, both plot and characters were full of flaws. It almost feels like this was supposed to be longer (which I wouldn't be surprised since most c-dramas are at least 24 eps long), but was cut short and both the plot and character portrayal suffered from it. The ending did not feel like a real conclusion. There were some characters’ actions that were never even addressed.
Overall, an ok watch but definitely does not deserve an average rating of 8.
It is hard to describe this one. I did not love it nor did I hate it. There were things I liked and things I didn’t, moments I enjoyed and moments that I just skipped. I watched it as the episodes came out but it was not really a drama that made me feel like "I cannot wait for next week. I want more!".
So I guess for me it was an average drama? Not amazing, but not something I would drop, just somewhere in the middle.
Glad someone said it. I thought I was the only one who had noticed how bad the subs were since no one was talking…
Yeah. MGTV always does that. Might as well not even claim their dramas have Eng subs. iQiyi also used to do that a lot but these days most of their dramas have human translations even the less popular ones.

True. And other official channels like iQiyi, Youku, WeTv have been making an effort to give international fans dramas with proper Eng subs. MGTV should really take notice of this and realize they can only benefit from hiring some people to do the subs.
They will definitely be able to cover the costs with ad revenue so there is no reason as to why they don’t do it. Unless whoever is in charge is one of those people who like to "save money".
