Its not light and fluffy with very little if any comedy involved, it starts off pretty good until about episode…
No problem. I said to skip to the last episode, but actually watch episode 51 too. The main leads are already together by then and there are some events you will miss if you do not watch that one.
So basically, watch eps 1-20 something and then 51 and 52 or even 50-52.
Happy they made it at the end... but sad that YG good memories of DD were so few at the wedding. The child starts…
I would definitely be there to watch this second season, which I am sure wont happen, but it would have to be 16-20 episodes long at most and please, no more amnesia and leave Sa Ra in whatever country she moved to. XD
P.S. - There is an epilogue and it seems like Dan Dan gives birth to twins. I am waiting to see if they post it on YouTube the next few days.

Dan Dan and the kids are great so if I could give you an advice I would say watch the first 20 episodes or so, right until the ML has amnesia, then skip to the last episode so you can watch their happy ending.
There are many funny moments and heart warming scenes between Dan Dan and the kids and the youngest son is so adorable. You will not regret watching if you follow my advice and skip those 30 episodes in between.
I am sure the writer is giving himself a pat on the back thinking he did a great job but honestly, you messed up so much.
I am unable to hate this drama because of Dan Dan and the kids, but around episode 20, once the whole amnesia saga started, this gradually became more and more frustrating to watch. I kinda knew the moment they decided to make this a family drama that there would be A LOT of drama and clichés but because it started so well and had such a great 20 episodes or so, I thought it would not be as bad...I was wrong.
Sa Ra was given too much power and for most of the drama she controlled the whole circus. Btw, why did they even add the character of that other female friend of the male lead if she never showed up again? I mean, she was not even there in the group of friends in the last episode. Did she go to a foreign country or something? What was the point of her character? She added nothing to the plot.
Anyway, I am going to be extremely generous and give it a 7.5/10 because of Dan Dan and the kids. Se Jeong is a huge part of why I am giving this rating even tho the writer messed up so badly. The kid is just too cute. ^^
With that said, I really liked some things about this drama, but I am sure if this had been made like a regular k-drama with only 16-20 episodes I would have rated it 9 or even 10.
If they had removed the whole amnesia saga, mainly the second round, the opposition of the parents and made Sa Ra a supporting character, this would have been a lovely drama.
P.S. - There is supposed to be an epilogue with Dan Dan giving birth to twins or something like that. Pay attention to KBS Youtube channel the next few days as they might post it with eng subs. ^^
No idea. I don’t even remember watching this drama, that is how bad it is. But there is probably at least 2 couples since cdramas usually have more characters than they should.
But if you are watching for the romance I don’t recommend this one. Probably the one death I mentioned is the second male lead or something along those lines and the male lead did not seem that into the female lead considering what I wrote 1 year ago.
The details are completely wrong. This is one of those short vertical dramas and each episode is less than 2 minutes long, so the whole thing would not even be 1 hour worth of watch time.
It also seems quite low budget, school project type of thing. Dropped it like a hot potato.
The fact that i pcture him falling in love and heartbroken everyday for the rest of his life is a bit a torture.…
Yeah. The ending was bittersweet. It was great that she left him their son so he would not be as lonely but at the same time both him and the son will grow old missing her.
It is especially sad because at the end of the video she made for her son she says that all she wanted was for the 3 of them to grow old together and unfortunately she did not get the chance to do that. T T
The first episode was both horrifying and hilarious. I loved it. lol
I have a feeling this will be one of those dramas that has a plot that is nothing special but that is so well-executed that it makes it stand out from the crowd.
To be honest, I will take these tragic plots any day over the whole infidelity trend.
At least these movies make us appreciate and be grateful for things we take for granted and give people who are going through hard times and cannot really express their emotions an excuse to cry.
This is very similar to the movie 50 First Dates. There are only 2 main differences: 1 - The one with amnesia is the guy. 2 - While 50 First Dates resorted to "cheap" comedy to try and make the movie a little less heavy, Don’t Forget I Love You went the more dramatic but incredibly beautiful and moving route.
Don’t get me wrong, I liked 50 First Dates and have watched it several times. By "cheap" comedy I meant all the sexual jokes and stuff they included in the movie to try and make the viewer forget, even if just for a second, how heavy the subject was.
If I compared these 2 movies using cakes as an example, 50 First Dates is a cake made by your grandma that does not look that great but is delicious and that you could eat several slices.
And Don’t Forget I Love You is more of a beautiful fancy cake you would get at a cake shop but would only be able to eat 1 slice before feeling full and although equally or even more delicious than your grandma’s cake, you would not be able to afford to eat it very often or you would go broke.
With that said, have some tissues by your side while watching because this cake has a lot of frosting and you will need to wipe your mouth a few times. ^^'
P.S. - If it was not clear, I loved the movie. I think the rating might be because of people who only focused on the destination and forgot about the journey.
Patiently waiting for these 3 episodes to be released... somewhere 🙃
There is this facebook group called CDL HAREM 2 that has all 3 parts subbed. They also have a few other short c-dramas that are not so easy to find subbed.
I liked it but it felt like something I would have watched back in 2010.
It was very cliché in the need to add the twins and the ex. They are only high schoolers but the writers had to add so much baggage to their relationship and of course it always has to be the guy who is "experienced" while the girl is "innocent".
I liked the main leads’ relationship but the plot could have been much better.
Interesting idea, great chemistry between the main leads, no love triangles or people that try to break them apart, BUT the execution was bad.
Although I did not feel confused between when it was 2012 and when it was 2024 like some people did, that was only because I pay more attention to detail than the average person. But when you make a drama, you need to make sure that EVERY viewer, or at least MOST viewers will be able to follow along.
I agree that this is quite messy, almost like they just threw all their ideas and scenes that were filmed into a bag, mixed everything and randomly put everything together without really thinking about it. I have watched many time-traveling and thriller dramas that went back and forth between the past and the present or the present and the future, but I have never watched something so messy.
With that said, watch for the romance, with a lot of skipping, or just don’t watch at all.

I thought: Hey, I have already cried all I could so I can watch another sad movie and I will be just fine.
Guess what? I am now dehydrated. My room is full of tissues, my eyes are burning, my nose is runy and I urgently need to drink some water.
When it comes to the portrayal of diseases, especially terminal illnesses, Japan is great at making you cry like a baby. T T
