Yeah. Out of all the Chinese dramas I watch only a few make me feel like re-watching. Most of them always have annoying characters and the plot drags for longer than it needs.

Yeah. I think what ruined this drama was the introduction of Li Man. Her character was not necessary. Not all exes have to come back. She could just be someone who existed in his past to create a reason for him to not accept female employees. I would rather have this drama be 24 episodes long instead and Li Man not being in the picture and the male lead not turning into a complete idiot.

I would rather have a romance develop from mutual understanding and the main leads spending time together than having these cliché conflicts, separation and then getting back together. I have watched plenty of that since I first started watching dramas back in 2010. I am kind of tired of this recipe.

Once Li Man showed up the enjoyment I had from the drama gradually went down, and after having the main leads be separated for about 10 episodes, the least I expected was for an ending where we saw the reactions of the parents, the birth of the baby, maybe another wedding, something to make up for all the frustration of the previous episodes, but no.

So yeah, I liked some things about the drama but as a whole it is not a drama I enjoyed enough to bother watching again.

P.S. - Although this is a drama from 2021 and with programming as the theme, all the tropes and clichés, specially after Li Man showed up, made me feel like I was watching a drama from 2010.

It is not completely bad but the story kind of went downhill once they introduced a certain character and turned the male lead into a complete idiot. Also, after 10 episodes or so of having to deal with all the bs, I expected more from the ending.

Read the spoiler for more info.

so what would you recommend as good romance story? 🤔🤔
Any story where the male lead actually shows some respect for the female lead.

I have watched quite a lot of lakorns in recent years where the writers gave us decent male leads. Some I can think about are Jao Sao Jum Yorm, Marn Bang Jai, Keun Ruk Salub Chata, Kao Waan Hai Noo Pen Sai Lub, Mee Piang Rak, ...

These are not necessarily the best romances, but definitely some of the ones where the male lead is not a complete jerk. There are a lot more but I would have to go through hundreds of completed dramas to fish them. XD

If you like a specific genre or kind of character, maybe I can recommend something that fits your taste.

42 now
Yeah, I think most of us are watching the web version so it’s 41. I remember someone from MDL telling me that when they add the number of episodes they always base it on the tv version, unless its a web drama.

Most of us that have been waiting for this drama to be subbed for years already know about this playlist. The…
Yeah. The only hope is for someone to pick it up. I know Alice from Productive Procrastination was planning to sub it a few years ago but she usually prefers to sub shorter dramas and this one is pretty long so it is not on her priority list. But maybe one of these days she will pick it up.

So, is it 41 or 42 episodes long? I think it was 41 before but now it is saying 42.

Because some people like negative aspect of the world. Simple people like simple drama. Complex minded people…
Get your facts right. You were the one who replied to my comment. No one asked you what you thought of me or any other viewer. That is not what the comment section is for. If you dont even know that, then you are the one who should not be leaving a comment anywhere.

Also, do you even know what "prickable" means? If you have limited English dont go around using any word the auto-translator tells you to use.

Your profile says the only drama you have watched is Squid Game. Are you even watching this drama? If not, how can you judge me based on a comment left about a drama you are not even watching?
On You Raise Me Up Oct 4, 2021
Wow, the ratings are all over the place. From the 9 and 10 that you see in some reviews, to an average rating of 7.8 and people dropping it rating it less than 5. Seems like this is one of those dramas people either love or hate.

Pfft. So you are one those people. Seems like not knowing enough English to be leaving comments criticizing people is the least of your problems. Both my parents have names and neither of them is called Jupiter.

So yeah, let’s end this conversation here. Have a nice drama watching journey and remember to comment on the dramas, not the people watching.

Lol

You must think you know it all. First, go study English so you can get your message across more easily. I had a hard time even reading your first comment. Then you can say whatever you want to people. But that does not mean they will still listen to what you have to say.

Second, what does your second comment even have to do with me liking different kinds of dramas? I am a picky watcher. I am sure of what I like and what I dont and what I like are different kinds of genres, as long as the story is good and is able to keep me watching. Of course, I have preferences when it comes to these genres like romance, thriller, crime, but as long as it has a good plot, I will watch pretty much anything. Why would I even bother lying about my drama preferences to a complete stranger?

Neither of your comments make any sense. I want to believe it is due to your lack of English knowledge but I cant help but feel you are also being quite arrogant for assuming you know someone based on a comment.

The comment section is meant to talk about the drama, not the viewers. So next time you reply to a comment, talk about the drama. It is ok to have a different opinion about the drama, but you have no right to judge the person commenting. That is not the objective of this comment section, or any comment section really.

I really enjoyed this drama. Just wish they got together sooner and that it did not end so fast. I would have liked 1 or 2 extra episodes to see the parents reaction, see them dating, ... The ending felt kind of rushed. Almost like someone gave me a new cake to taste that I really liked and then took it away before I could finish it. :(

P.S. - I know about the extra clips, but I still feel that was not enough. I actually wanted an extra episode with them "meeting" the parents, getting married, all that stuff.

At what episode did the main couple get together?
I cant remember the exact episode but they get together pretty early. Maybe around eps 15-20.

Yikes. Yet another c-drama with auto-translated subs?
RIP, I guess I will have to skip on this one too, at least until it gets proper subs.

Your comment seems completely out of place. And I like both complex and simple dramas, it depends on how enjoyable they are. So far, only the female lead was interesting enough for me to keep watching.

So no luck here. I like all kinds of different dramas so you will have a hard time even guessing what kind of person I am. I can be watching horror and psychological today and a romantic comedy tomorrow. As long as the story is interesting and the acting and editing are good, I will keep watching.

I've definitely had this experience with so many dramas - synopsis/genre/cast seem right up my alley, comments…
Thank you. I do like the way the female lead handles things and love seeing her put that whole family in their places. I just feel like it is the only thing I like and that it might not be enough. I will come back later to watch the rest of the episodes and maybe it will get better.
On GO into Your Heart Oct 1, 2021
Although I liked a lot of the elements and relationships in this drama, I pretty much skipped throughout the last 15 episodes or so. This should have been 24 episodes long, maybe 30. There just was not a need for those extra 10-15 episodes. All that happened in those episodes could have been summed up to 1 or 2.

If it was not for how draggy it was and all the unnecessary things that were added to keep the story going, I would have probably given it a high rating.
Unfortunately, taking my over all enjoyment into account, this is a drama I would not re-watch so I cannot give it a rate over 7 for future reference. 6.5/10 is sadly my rating for this drama.

Thank you for sharing your story. I have not started watching yet but I was surprised at how people were overreacting.…
Yeah. Now that I have watched the first episode I can definitely see the importance of that meeting to show how much he changed.
