There is low budget and then there is this drama. The editing, the props, the acting, everything is below average. No wonder it has a low rating.

There is no summary so can someone tell me what the story is about? No spoilers, please.

Watchable and enjoyable are not the same. I can watch something without enjoying it.

If you watched the movie, then it was also watchable to you, but it clearly wasn't enjoyable.

I saw it subbed on dramanice.

This reminds me of the mangas I read over 10 years ago and that I hated to love. But I was a teenager/young adult then. Now being on my way to 30, I find this kind of male lead disgusting. In real life I would not give him a second of my time. He is a walking red flag. He lies, he manipulates, he uses people, he sleeps around, and the list goes on.

In real life, this kind of man would never be faithful to his partner even after getting married. He would lie to her face that he came home in the morning cause he was working overnight when he was actually doing you know what with a woman he had just met the previous day.

With that said...did I like the drama? Yes....because its a drama, not real life.
But I did not like it as much as I would have liked it had I watched it 10 years ago.

So, watch it if you dont know what to watch next, but dont expect anything great and be prepared to feel like dropping it because of the way the male lead behaves.

That is why I said if you have NOTHING else to watch. I was being nice when I said "its not a bad movie", it was more of a "meh, its watchable". XD

I was honestly expecting more.

Even with it being only 24 episodes long the writers still managed to cram in as many supporting characters as you find in an over 100 episode daily drama. And if all those supporting characters were not enough, almost every episode a new patient and that patient’s family were introduced. And because of that, there was not much screen time left for the main leads and in turn the development of their relationship felt very superficial to me. Too many characters and too much going on. And one of the most important plot points - the female lead’s illness and what would be her fate, was kind of just brushed off and not properly addressed in the last episode.

I am not saying this is a bad drama, but it is far from being good enough to have an average rating of 8. Some of my favorite dramas have a similar rating and this one, in my opinion of course, is not on the same level.

I have watched other dramas with similar situations where the female lead was in a dilemma between having an abortion or having the baby. My issue with this one was how the FL seemed to make such an important decision on a whim and not because she actually measured the pros and cons or because she had a deep conversation with the father of the baby.

I dont remember the exact details since I watched it 2 years ago, but for me to complain about the female lead’s attitude then something must have been very wrong with the way she behaved.

Yeah, I hate dropping dramas so I just FF when things are boring. Some longer dramas I have even skipped entire episodes just to get to the end faster. ^^'

I found a way to get the Viu app through an Android Emulator and with the help of a VPN. What is the name of this drama on the app? So I can search for it.

It has been over a year so I am going to remove it from my on-hold list. Let me know if this ever gets subbed.

Yeah, I guess that was what the person meant. But saying part 2 and part 1 instead of original and remake made it very confusing, specially when you consider this is a continuation of the remake from 2012.

So the comment this person left would have made a little more sense had it been left in the the Rang Ngao 2012 page instead of this one. Because for her to consider this part 2, then part 1 would have to be the remake that aired in 2012 and not the original that aired in 2001. ^^'

I haven't tried but it probably wont since I don't live in any of the countries listed on their website.

MGTV? I guess it will never get subbed by them or they throw everything into google translator. Hopefully some fansub will pick it up since it is short.

I have that one on-hold since the first episode did not really grab my attention but my sister has been watching it every week. I think I will only go back to it once it finishes airing, which should be soon.

And yeah, the drama I mentioned is 50 episodes long. I wish they had made it 16 or even 20 episodes long but not 50. The idea was interesting and the kids are adorable so I keep watching, but I think it would have been much better if it was shorter and they removed a lot of the supporting characters and unnecessary clichés.

The subs on most of the episodes that always grumpy cat uploaded are not timed correctly, the first 10-15 minutes are ok but then, I guess because of the the short preview screens, the timing is completely off for the rest of the episode.

And VIU seems to be able to detect when you are using a VPN and does not let you watch anything.

So I am basically back to square one and might have to watch the rest of the episodes either raw or with subs that do not match what the characters are saying, which ends up being about the same as watching raw since I will not understand anything. Sigh

EDIT: I think the problem with the subs might be due to the server where the videos are uploaded. Maybe the video is not synching with the subs correctly when the connection is not good. I am having the same problem with My Precious Bad Luck.

Still cannot find it subbed anywhere. Let me know when it gets subbed. And please dont tell me its on Netflix or any sort of paid service. I am not subscribed to any of these services and can only watch it if its available for free.

It has been over 2 years since this one has been gathering dust in my on hold list so I will remove it. Let me know if this gets subbed.
