I don't want to suspect Taehoon having any relation to the murders in 2005 (I love his friendship with Haesung and his relationship with Youngin)... but why does he keep getting this fishy close ups?? T_T

I'm with you on everything, except on the following:
- I'm a big fan of Yeo Jingoo, hehehe.
- Actually it's a mix to me. Sometimes, I see him as someone so mature and other times, absolutely child-like.
- And we don't have the same birthdays.

The chef is totally the second lead. And this is actually mostly about Haesung. It's his return to his friends and loved ones 12 years after his untimely death.

Same question here! And the restaurant seems to be a highly-rated one. Even if he was hired through Jungwon's connection, he'd still be required to present an ID and a bunch of other requirements. Even more requirements compared to taking some part-time job. lol And yes that chicken fight hahaha the BGM made it even more hilarious.

I'm totally side-eyeing those k-netizen comments who keep whining about Lee Yeonhee and Ahn Jaehyun's acting in Reunited Worlds every single episode - not because they're good... they're far from good, but because the viewers totally slept on the awesome acting ensemble from Circle. I'm so heartbroken how it never even reached 3%. It's just way too underrated.

People like to complain about lousy acting and plot (which should be complained about, true) but when a good one comes along, they also have no problems ignoring it.

My comment's probably a bit too generalizing.. but ugh I'm just so bitter about Circle because it deserved sooo much better.

I'm a huge Yeo Jingoo fan and have watched practically everything he's ever been in. So I'm really happy to see this article in the homepage! Thanks for writing an awesome one. I also watched Warriors of the Dawn without subs T_T as I'm still waiting for them to release it in my country (it was reported that it would be).

I'm also looking forward to 1987 a lot! I'm sure it's gonna be awesome as I love all the actors in it, and the subject is definitely interesting - even if Jingoo's appearance only being a special one (so he'd probably in it for a few minutes at the most T_T). And it's his reunion with his Hwayi dad and director~ both really doted on him a lot during Hwayi days (actually all his dads there did).

I love how diverse his characters are in his filmography. Some people comment how he's taking the same kind of character everytime and I beg to differ. They may be similar at first glance but he tackles each of the roles he plays differently. It's actually more apparent if people would check out both his dramas and movies.

He may not have had a hit project yet post-Hwayi, but he's just so talented and hard working and he keeps on improving everytime so I'm sure he'll one day become one of the top most actors in Korea. ♥

Yeah, acting is definitely not one of her strong suits, and YJG's acting is just way beyond her capabilities, but I do appreciate the improvement in her scenes with JG, it feels more natural now. Before, I find their chemistry together way too awkward, I even found her also awkward in Eps 13-14... somehow there's this slight change in 15-16 and I suddenly didn't find her acting cringe-worthy.. if that makes sense. Or maybe I've gotten used to it now. LOL

Haesung crying at the start was just.. ughhh you could really feel so much emotions in that scene: his grief for a loss of a friend and a father figure, his fears and him still trying to smile in spite of it all.. T_T

Wow I really enjoyed eps 15-16.. LYH and YJG's chemistry feels more natural this episode lol Jungwon doing that "accidental" kiss... hahaha Anyway I think LYH got quite better this ep, especially in the scene where she overhears an old schoolmate talking about Haesung's death and how it's basically her fault. Finally, this is a much more realistic approach. The writing is too simple and I've realized it isn't something to be taken too seriously, and that way I can enjoy the series better.

I don't want to take this drama seriously anymore, I don't know what's weaker, LYH + AJH acting or the writing. So I'll just enjoy whatever I can. :D

LOL Jungwon's effort to recreate her dream with Haesung, A for effort. Haesung's obviously aware of what Jungwon's trying to do though unfortunately he's also aware he has a time limit in his stay T_T

Totally laughed at the scene where the gang went to Jungwon's house after Jungwon lied about being busy at work cos she's secretly dating Haesung XD. Then when JW and HS thought the friends have left, they were actually just playing a game silently OMG. Then when they both came out of the house and everyone's shocked faces got me hahaha. Then after hiding, they both came out again pretending nothing happened and Jungwon ditched Haesung to explain things all by himself.

Ahjussi though. T_T He spent such a short time with Haesung, but he pretty much treated Haesung like a son. I wish he could just stay.

I have a feeling Haesung would donate for Sooji before he leaves... I'm not sure if it's really possible though.

I absolutely agree with you. I could do so much better without the restaurant scenes, so instead of brushing past the family scenes to give more airtime to restaurant scenes, it's really much better to reverse it.

I'm just skipping all the restaurant scenes with only LYH and AJH. And I agree with your last paragraph, that's all I care about at this point. Although I'm slowly warming up to grown up Jungwon, but I wish they would at the very least lessen the restaurant scenes. I'm so done with those.

Eps 9-10 is a bit of a let down, nothing much important happened but what disappointed me the most is his reunion with his sisters. There wasn't even a hug. Like, the way his sisters reacted was just as if they haven't seen him in months at the most. I was expecting them to cry or at least hug him. I mean, I thought they missed him a lot and before Haesung's death, they seemed to have relied on him a lot. Young-in was shown to be an emotional girl... The actresses both seemed to be good, but I wonder why it had to be written/directed like this.

My heart broke though when Haesung was saying he'll go accept his brother's wishes and act as if they're strangers. You could tell how much it hurt him saying that. :(

I wish there'd be more focus on his family than the restaurant scenes. They don't really do much to the story for me.

Not exactly a perfectly happy ending, but pretty much. It's bittersweet to me.

There are hits and misses for me. I haven't laughed a lot but I remember genuinely laughing at the scene where Haesung was drunk and pointed at the bald grandpa, same with the scene where Jinjoo slapped Hobang and the pumpkin+sweet potato scene with Ahn Jaehyun.

If this show isn't funny for you, it doesn't make you strange. It just so happens that people have different tastes.

Not me... :D Personally, I feel like Yeo Jingoo owned the Kim Woojin role so well that before Ep 11, I actually feared I would not warm up to the actor who would play the adult KWJ. I was worried no actor would be able to give justice to the role of Kim Woojin, especially with only 2 episodes remaining. With Kim Kangwoo, we immediately found out he is Kim Bumgyun right at Ep4 so we had enough time to take him in as Kim Bumgyun. While it really saddened me KWJ had to die... a part of me felt relief that it's still YJG playing KWJ in the future.

Based on the first week, I think, they don't really show previews for Thursday episodes.
