Hi! I made a discussion thread for any questions we might have for Circle. It's just that we might have questions we thought are plot holes or unanswered but actually have answers and others could help out by solving them. In turn others could also post more questions aside from answering and adding more input. ^_-

Ultimately, there will still be unanswered questions in the end but at least this might help a little. :D

I think it's Woojin's clone but without Woojin's memories.

I agree, it's really a complicated matter. Personally, what I actually got from this show is that simply, we should live our lives that way we believe we should. Just like Han Jungyeon, she never wanted to regain her memories to begin with, and Byul herself wanted to have her memories erased. So now, Han Jungyeon is no longer Byul. It's a much simpler case than Woojin's though...

But what I really like is the parallel between the twins, as someone pointed out on a comment I read: Is Bumgyun still Bumgyun with his original body but not his memories? And is Woojin still Woojin with his memories but not his original body?

It's really a complicated matter to discuss, tbh, and I think that's what makes this show wonderful.

I don't think it would be easy to treat him as anyone else other than Woojin though. He woke up knowing in his mind that he is Woojin. He has Woojin's memories, emotions and deep love for his friends and family.. Like if that happened to me... I wake up, knowing I have my friends and family and then suddenly they tell me I should live as another person.. I can't just ignore the fact that I would still treat these people dear to me. And I also know that I am me. Even if I change my name, try to move on live as another person... I would always think I am me... the me that I woke up to.

He would always remember the things Woojin did in 2017 as if he has actually undergone those things himself. Whatever trauma or joy or suffering Woojin experienced, he would have it too.

I do wish they could've given Beta Project's Woojin more closure though. He deserves that. At this point, I could only comfort myself that they did it behind the scene. I mean looking for the original Woojin. T_T I can't bear to think otherwise, it's too painful.

But, I also do believe that Brave New World's Woojin is also Woojin. He is indeed an extension of Woojin from 2017. They are both Woojin to me.

Ugh yessss I thought of that too! TT________TT I wondered if they'd ever show them seeing his body or at least his grave or them trying to look for his body, but I guess there's so much that needs closure they didn't get to include it.

Now I'm broken again T__________________T My poor Woojin.. T_T He sacrificed everything until the end. He died trying to escape the bad guys and became an unwilling key to Human B.

But thinking of the Clone!Woojin, imagine if ever he returned to Human B before Joonhyuk could stop him.. Imagine the sadness he'd felt.. Like he feels and thinks like Woojin, he has Woojin's memories and everything so the thought of him trying to convince himself he's just a clone, a mere component is also heart-breaking. T_T He's also Woojin too.. T_T

I need to hug all my Woojin-ieeee T_T

While this drama isn't perfect... but gosh just knowing the hard work that's been put into this and the effort and the thought and the philosophy.. ugh it's not number 1 in the ratings but it is number 1 in my heart~

SAME! I totally love how they showed everyone in the credits scene even those with the most minor roles! (Ack.. except the grandma?) Anyway it was really a great ensemble! No acting black-hole at all! ♥

I'm really happy with such a warm and happy ending! T_T

Ohh.. I honestly didn't even consider that. Perhaps a plot-hole... or maybe he's not thinking too straight anymore.. probably he got scared that it might not be duplicated anymore or something... but he could've easily gotten Byul's memory back though.. hahaha so yup maybe a plot hole.. someone compared on twitter how his death is the same way the other victims of Prof Han died. And I got mind-blown again. LOL

True... our central characters really got development all changed for the better, I love it!

Woojin did all the protecting in Beta Project... so in 2037, it's quite nice to see Team Digital and Analog be super protective of Woojin. T_T

I'm still heartbroken to see Woojin in that coma though. He has suffered so much. T_T

Ep 11 is more emotionally-driven while Ep 12 is more focused on giving a resolution to the entire series.. So for Woojin's 2022 picture, that was the year Woojin died so it was a clone? But without Woojin's memories? Anyway, I'm glad it is a happy ending, although I wish it was longer... it's just that the ending felt quite a bit hurried. Like everything just suddenly fell into place? But they only have 12 episodes to wrap the entire thing out so I do understand it. I think it's best to watch Ep 11-12 together than separately.

I meant Woojin actually dying. Not just the end of Ep 11... but since Ep 11-12 is the final week... and based on Ep 12 ending... I'll take it to mean that Woojin really died and became a clone is probably what they meant.

Maybe they meant Ep 11...since Ep 12 is more of a resolution episode. But yes to season 2~~ with the same cast!!!
