I agree with you guys so much. I really only ever watched METS for the child actors and fast-forwarded mostly just because I wanted to see how it ends.
You know those typical netizens who didn't know any better and just like to praise whoever's the trend or like to spread animosity to even innocent people. What pisses me off is when he's in an article with the other trendy actors and if you send a praise about Jingoo, the fans of those trendy actors immediately gang up to give lots of downvotes to the one comment that praises anyone who isn't their bias.
Exactly, he's still very young, he's got so much talent and has started proving himself at a really young age so he's got too much burden on his shoulders. What makes me happy is to see how passionate he is about his craft. He never stops learning and has always remained so down to earth. I'm already mind-blown just imagining him improving even more. He's already way too good, but I'm sure he's still striving to do better. It's also nice that despite the results of his projects, he makes sure to do try different characters.

His acting in Hwayi: A Monster Boy is at a monstrous level already (that scene at the hospital with his mom where he actually growled and wailed will forever give me chills)... but he's an actor who always tries to improve himself despite all the praises he gets. And yes I agree with you... his acting is so layered here in Circle. He can convey Woojin's emotions and internal struggles with just a stare.. he doesn't over-act and he just shows the perfect amount to tug your heartsrings.. it's really insane.

And that's the beauty of it! T_T The argument this show presents... and I'm actually with you... I really do think he's Woojin, clone or not. He's got Woojin's heart albeit not literally... but his love for his brother and I'd say Jungyeon too is ultimately still there. He thinks he is Woojin, so he is Woojin.
One of the things that this show wonderfully explores is that you should live the way you think you should live. You must not let other people decide for you. You are who you are. And this applies to so many things, not just about memories.

He's publicly popular and is still a very well-respected actor who has won prestigious awards... But because his movies and dramas post-TMETS or Hwayi didn't do well as people would expect of his caliber, it might've put a dent on his popularity, especially compared to the other child actors who have done much better than him.
But given his talent, I'm sure he'll still make it big. =D And for Circle, Jingoo deserves a huge award for this, which I'm worried he won't get because Circle isn't popular.

Yup. I just feel so bad for Jingoo. There are even people who are saying: "He's an actor I would trust to skip." Because there's this popular comment about actors that say: "He's an actor I'd trust to watch."
His acting is like one of the best out there, like I'd watch whatever he's in because he's just that good. I'm so sad, because dramas with far worse storyline than Circle is doing great... and yet some stupid people who possibly haven't even seen Circle are being so smug because it didn't get mind-blowing ratings.
I'm just a really bitter fan tbh... Because he deserves better than this. When there are articles about him that include more popular actors... if you give a comment that praise Jingoo, you'd get tons of downvotes from the fans of those popular actors. I mean, really?? A comment that praises Jingoo in an article with Jingoo in it earns a downvote? It makes me root for him even more. He's not popular but has the talent and the passion for acting.
The response online is really good given its ratings. Well news articles don't generate much comments or upvotes, but the naver talk page is somehow doing awesome.

Oh and good news guys... Circle articles on naver normally generate 800 upvotes on comments.. and for the first time, with last night's episode... it actually got almost 2000 upvotes on comments. It's not amazing if you'll compare it to other dramas or articles of course... but for Circle this is a new achievement... so hurrah! ♥

I think they are complaining because entire spoilers are in the title. People normally do check in on Naver homepage as a daily routine I think because it all has the news in one place... but then again... they wouldn't have to cry for spoilers if only they watched the live broadcast. I'm so bitter lol, Circle deserves sooo much better than this!
I feel so sorry for Jingoo. Because during the script reading of Reunited Worlds, people are mocking Jingoo for never choosing a good drama and have the guts to include Circle as one of his bad dramas... I mean you can all say Circle isn't perfect or isn't groundbreaking and isn't doing fantastic in the ratings but if you'll really give it a chance, you'd realize how much heart has been put into making this drama and the story is so fast-paced and has a really gripping plot with GREAT ACTING and that it delved into waters not well tested in k-dramas, and has given an emotional impact that would only exist in a k-drama..

This has always been my guess... but I don't know. If he is, I just wish they have enough time to let that sink in 1 last episode with weighty evidence. :D
Personally, while this drama isn't as groundbreaking as people would expect, I am thoroughly enjoying the arguments the show presents about memories and human identity. I just read this comment last night, but I really liked it: "Is Bumgyun really Bumgyun with his original body but without Bumgyun's memories and is Woojin really Woojin by being just a clone but with Woojin's memories?" I love all the parallels this show has made about the brothers throughout the drama. This drama isn't perfect, but it hit all the right spots for me.
And that scene with Clone!Woojin and Joonhyuk at the end. I'm soooooo impressed with Yeo Jingoo. I mean Kim Kangwoo's good too, but the way Jingoo acts is just something else. He doesn't need to move every single muscle in his face to convey his thoughts as Woojin. The way he cries where his tears just flows naturally. Gosh.
Anyway... I feel so horrible for the twins and the clone as well.
- Woojin is a tragic character right at the get-go.. T_T It's just too sad... he doesn't deserve this.
- trying to find a brother all these years and then only to find out he's dead and you're only left with a clone.
- Woojin getting into a deadly accident, only to wake up completely fine and his first thought is to find his brother and Jungyeon. And when he finds them, he realizes 20 years has suddenly passed. Like not only is that a whole lot of information to take in, but after that, he realizes he's been made as a mere component with the exact emotions and thoughts of Woojin (whose existence mostly evolved around his brother).. like he still thinks he's truly Woojin. And the moment he hears that his brother whom he knows he's tried to save all this time, only thinks of him as a Human B object... T_T That just hurts so much. And for him to resign himself to returning to Human B and make his brother and Jungyeon live with their current identities far away. He's still the same old selfless Woojin..
- When Woojin said he's scared back in 2017. T_T And I don't doubt for a second that Clone!Woojin also means it in the present even if he's just repeating what the original Woojin said.

Also remember at the start of the episode.. Woojin's eyes reflected the ball of light during Byul's arrival in a way that Bumgyun's eyes didn't...
