people made a petition after ep 4 to get kinnporsche removed due to the 'toxicity', the petition is still up and it's got hundreds of signatures. it's ridiculous because there was a reason with was moved up from 15+ to 17+ and it's honestly tiring to see 14 year old complain about how 'toxic' this series is when they're not even old enough to be watching it.

it's just a problem all around on mdl. i swear this app is homophobic or something, utsukushii kare (another bl) had always maintained an 8.5 rating and suddenly overnight it changed to 8.1 then 7.9 despite the fact that the ratings from viewers being really high, and it's not just one show either. ittsay is really highly rated with all it's episodes being rated 9.2 - 9.5 stars yet has an overall rating of 8.3. this app is just really weird lmao.

uh wow that's a bit harsh. well firstly the world doesn't work like that. that question could be asked about a million different drama's. why did jisoo get the part in snowdrop when there are hundreds of other actresses who are so much more skilled than her. the entertainment industry isn't that fair and unfortunately, no matter how good of an actor you are, you're not going to be guaranteed a part. jisoo was by no means a good actress and it was blatantly obvious she was used because of her fame, yet she still got the part. so why did holland get the part? because he's famous lmao, i mean it's not like it's a secret. but what is surprising is the fact that he's obviously put effort into his part. anyway im not going to even address the whole "sugar daddy" question cause that was rude and uncalled for :)

well firstly, nothing is wrong with disliking a show. you don't see people asking "what's wrong with people who like this show" because again, nothing wrong with liking the show either.
secondly, it's a persons choice on whether they want to drop a show or not. i for one, don't want to drop it even though i didn't like it, for 4 reasons:
1. syn and nuea own my soul.
2. no-drop syndrome ugh.
3. because i want to give it a proper review (who knows, i could change my mind)
4. so i can complain about it lmao
thirdly, im sorry this one is just so funny, "why don't you point out any of the good things" was definitely not a well thought out statement because the same could be said for "why don't you point out any of the bad things". i mean i don't see anyone talking about how kissing someone unconscious is definitely not okay. it's because we're humans, we're naturally bias lmao.
anyway, i'm pretty sure 99 percent of people can agree syn and nuea are the best thing that happened to this show (see i pointed out a good thing lol)

holland is a surprisingly decent actor. I'll be honest i didn't really expect much but honestly he definitely took acting classes lmao and you can tell he did put effort and it paid off. he's sassy but caring and him playing tommy suits him in a way i can't really explain lol. i'm pleasantly surprised this wasn't just another case of "kpop idol to actor pipeline".

i think japan is the only country i've seen which pulls off the whole "hyper exaggeration" style of acting. it's so amazingly funny yet serious when they want it to be and i'm literally in love with it (and this show) lmao.

i keep watching for 3 reasons:
1. syn and nuea own my whole heart and i need a series of just them
2. i have severe no-drop syndrome, i didn't even drop boy's over flower's or what the duck which is a testament to my commitment (i regret that so much now)
3. so i can shit talk the fuck out of it - it's so fun to just collectively hate on this lmao.

at this point I'm only watching this for Syn and Nuea and lets be honest, there's not much of them to begin with. so far i feel like after the main conflict (Kuea and Lian getting engaged for 'real', falling in love with each other) was resolved, it's just a bunch of filler and random sex scenes so i really just want to drop it but i have no-drop syndrome and i'm literally forcing myself to get through this ugh. i honestly predicted it would steer into this direction though bc the whole 'arranged marriage' plot is super new in bl's and so it's kinda obvious they took a lot of inspiration from older k-drama's etc.. Lian is the embodiment of a toxic masculine male lead who solves his problems through force and Kuea is literally the stereotype for the "innocent but not like other girls cause she rides a bike" female lead so i probably shouldn't have gotten my hopes up that high urgh. anyway, Syn and Nuea, or the actors themselves need their own show or else imma riot :)

this was a light, fun drama. it was fluffy and cute and the actors did an amazing job bringing the characters to life, however now that I've watched it and compared it to the original material, I think I can see the problem.
the source material itself has 3 seasons (as of what I remember, forgive me, I read this a while ago), with mainly season 2 and 3 having a lot more plot. the problem here was that they filmed scene based solely on season 1 which was, well tbh, just a bunch of fluff and filler. the main storyline in season 1 was them getting together and it was mainly just cute moments after that (save for a few minor obstacles), and they did exactly that in the drama.
they just filmed them getting together and then a bunch of cute moments after. though there was slight editing problems and such, I think more than anything, it's the source material which brought this down. they chose a manhua which, yes was good on paper, but just wasn't they type of thing that did well on screen. the manhua itself lacked the depth and plot required to make a proper series. in the end, it was still a good show no doubt, but not exactly memorable.

help why is everyone suddenly acting like bl's are now how we judge a certain sexuality? y'all be acting like bl's are accurate representations of gay/bi/pan men when these are literally pieces of fiction. this bl is a piece of fiction and you need to take it as such. if you can't discern fiction from reality that's a you problem not a we problem. this isn't the first bl ever to contain heavy material and it won't be the last, so if this make you uncomfortable, you don't have to watch this, but that doesn't mean you can tell others not to watch this either.
