alright, with all the clues up to the 4th time loop, it seems like we can guess whatās inside Mo Yuanzhiās secret laboratory that shocked his wife so much when she saw it. My guess is that Wanqingās body is inside and being used for experiments. And my second guess is that the other person who can time loop is Jiang Yuwen or Mo Yuanzhi or it could be that both of them can.
OMG, the preview of episode 12 is a scene i never expected, considering this drama is in the criminal thriller mystery genre š¤
i crack up every time they taste the food, their imagination is so over the top š¤£š¤£ Seeing the food at night makes me drool, really curious about the taste š¤¤
Iām getting even more curious about this drama after watching the clips of Bai Jing Tingās scenes, heās so hilarious š especially his eyebrows š¤£
While I am loving this drama, I hate how āwhite adjacentā this drama is. Given what is happening in the world…
I donāt think thereās any sense of "celebrating white culture" here, because this drama is an adaptation of a web novel and follows the characters that already exist in the web novel.
And most importantly, Yeon Ji Yeong is portrayed as a chef who was trained in French cuisine, so of course she mostly cooks French dishes, which is her area of expertise š
is jo jaeyoon (tang bai long) the only one's that dubbed? like only his chinese is good
I was quite surprised when he spoke, his mandarin speaking is good. But i thought maybe he was dubbed ? Because the voice didnāt sound like his real one. But then again, it wouldnāt make sense if only he was dubbed while the actor playing the Ming eunuch wasnāt š But maybe actor Jo Jae-yoon is actually fluent in Mandarin
I AM A CHINESE YET I CANT BRAIN AT ALL WHAT THE 'CHINESE PEOPLE ' IN THIS DRAMA SAYS
i feel same as you 𤣠Iām also Chinese, and when the āChinese peoplesā showed up, i was already laughing so hard ā they were all played by Korean actors𤣠And when his started talking i was like, āwhat are they talking about?ā LOL it didnāt sound like mandarin at all, i couldnāt understand anything his were saying 𤣠his were speaking without tones, totally like people who just started learning mandarin š
my guess was rightāthe book Jiyeong brought is Yi Heonās book. It looks like itās going to be a sad ending based on the words Yi Heon wrote in it (My beloved, if one day you read this, may you come back to my side) š„²
Iām liking each episode more and more š The food Ji Yeong cook also makes me curious about how it tastes, since everyone enjoys it so muchāespecially Yi Heon š
Oh, and the last scene of episode 4 somehow made me feel sad too, seeing Yi Heon cry, especially with that sad OST playing in the background š
11 year age gap between the main lead actors (I just meant to point it out)
Well, i donāt think itās a problem āØLooks-wise, they donāt seem mismatched ā in fact, Lee Chae Min (in my opinion) even looks older than Yoona āØ. Lee Chae Min also isnāt underage, and their chemistry is good too. And based on history, Yeonsangun (the real king) was also only 18 years old when he ascended the throne
He canāt fly so Superman is out. I donāt know what venom is. He aināt green so leaves hulk out plus he doesnāt…
I didnāt mean he literally flies like superman or turns green like Hulk and so on. I was just using those names as a metaphor for his superhero vibes āØ
Literally, Cheng Leiās character here feels like a mash-up of Vampire + Werewolf + Venom + Superman + Hulk š. At some points it even reminded me of Detective Conan LOL and damn ! Cheng Lei is shirtless in almost every episode š You really have to throw logic and realism aside while watching this, but itās still entertaining in its own way ⨠Too bad itās not his own voice in the dubbing though šwhile other actors dubbed themselves
The director for this is the one who worked on prisoner of beauty and othet good dramas
Oooh i just noticed the directorās name. i watched and liked the three previous dramas he directed (especially The Prisoner of Beautyā¤ļø) Wow, i should be able to enjoy this drama too. Knowing who the director is really raises my expectations š
I just hope the storyline and scene editing are better than LOTFG. This drama is also one iām looking forward to, so hopefully it wonāt lower my expectations like LOTFG did šš»šš»šš»š«¢š«¢
And oh, i just realizedāonce again, CL is paired with the FLās generalš
What was that stupid strategy by the emperor in the end ? Why did he send her to a place where there was no war?…
I totally agree with you. Iām also confusedāwhy did the emperor send He Yan to a place where there wasnāt even a war yet? Did Chu Zhao instigate something to the emperor to come up with that idea? Itās really strange, there was no explanation at all about what strategy Chu Zhao was supposedly carrying out or what his goal was. (Well, Iām not entirely sure either since i skipped through a lot of scenes in the last three episodes LOL)
Honestly, nearing the endāaround the last three episodesāI felt it was really flat. It totally crushed my expectations for this drama , even though it was one i had been eagerly waiting for š„²
There were so many scenes that i thought were unnecessary, random, and overly unrealistic to the point that i just couldnāt accept the nonsense 𤨠LOL, oh well⦠in the end i only kept watching just for ZY and CLās chemistry, thatās the only reason i stayed. Oh, and i had already bought the fast-track package from the startš
