I see everyone wants FSG to become emperor in the end, but I really hope he doesn’t. The throne is such a depressing…
I also hope FSG doesn’t become emperor. Just let FSG and FYX live as an ordinary married couple. He’s already been through enough — all the battles, and so many people trying to kill him
LMAO seeing soooooo many comments bashing on ML now for one decison. Can we wait until the show ends before seeing…
Wow, so there are actually people who think that way ? 😳 I don’t think FSG is blinded by love right now. I agree with you — even before he fell in love, he never wanted the throne. From the start, his ruthless goal was only to avenge his mother, and to play a supporting and protective role for the kingdom against those who betrayed it.
Today’s episode totally feels like it’s heading toward the finale LOL — even though it’s only episode 26 😬
The royal family drama is seriously exhausting 😅 Poor FSG, his life is so tough — so many people are trying to kill him. I wonder what’s coming in tomorrow’s episode, probably more people chasing him down 🥹
And to the princess — serves you right for regretting it now. Acting all confident like you could change XJS. You didn’t even know what kind of person he was, on what basis did you think you could change him? Now look at you, full of regret 🫢
And oh, one more thing i have to comment on from episode 20 — the princess!! LOL 😤 I was so annoyed when she started crying and having flashbacks about her father and brother always protecting her back in Susha. Like, hellooo, that was your own choice! Why are you crying and regretting it only after arriving in Jinxiu?! 😡
Not surprised anymore — the guy behind the mask was already obvious since the beginning, but poor FSG 😭🤧 even his own friend betrayed him too.
I love the chemistry between FSG and FYX — they support each other and never try to hold the other back. When FSG found out that FYX didn’t actually go out of town with the female physician, he still supported her from behind and secretly helped her. I really like this kind of couple dynamic — both strong and badass.
And wow, FSG’s character is truly a prince who’s ruthless and fearless — even toward his own father, who’s the Emperor! He’s bold and completely unafraid. While everyone else trembles and kneels when the Emperor gets angry, FSG is the only one who doesn’t flinch or bow 🫢 I was totally stunned watching him — even in episode 20 today, that torture scene was just brutal, i was kinda shocked when he dislocated that woman’s jaw just so she couldn’t bite her own tongue 😳 I love it! 👏🏻👏🏻
is there any chance that ML's childhood friend would be the masked man!
It’s not just a possibility anymore — it’s already certain. The promotional poster already spoiled Murong Yao holding the mask, and there’s even a Reuters clip showing FYX removing Murong Yao’s mask
Mr Sunshine is a masterpiece fr and I can't believe she wrote both that drama and this one, like what happened😭
yeah i wonder why she hasn’t written another drama like Mr. Sunshine again. I remember one of the dramas she wrote before was even labeled as the worst drama she had ever made, which was The King : Eternal Monarch (starring Lee Min Ho), and i agree with what the netizens said.
And now, this drama can also be considered another one of her worst 🤧 I don’t blame the actors’ performances — they acted really well — it’s just that i feel disappointed with the story that writer Kim Eun Sook wrote. it’s not about religion or anything else that most of the comments here talk about, it’s just simply not impressive
Actually, i enjoyed watching it, i liked the acting of all the actors. Well, even though the plot had a lot of absurd things. the ending was also unsatisfying in my opinion, too draggy so i ended up fast-forwarding, and why did Ga Young suddenly become Jin? Weird LOL. Anyway, no need to think too much about it, it’s just a drama after all 😃
But somehow I feel like writer Kim Eun Sook was just fooling around when writing this drama 😪 Even though it was entertaining, it still wasn’t enough to impress me. In my opinion, out of all the dramas she’s written, Mr. Sunshine is the most memorable.
scarlet heart watchers, this is for us! this is the therapy! i absolutely love the ending sobs
Yes, this is truly an ending where the King actually kept his promise to find his woman no matter where she was. Not like Moon Lovers, which was just all talk 😆
I’m happy with the ending, and i still want to see more of their life in the modern world (LCM looks so handsome in modern clothes!! 😚) Well, even though from the beginning to the middle of the episodes it felt rushed to wrap things quickly and also left some things unanswered—like how the Lee Heon ended up in the future LOL
i really liked LCM’s acting in this drama. His expressions and voice as the King were excellent. Even in the sad scene where he cried after being left by Yeon Jiyong—wuhuu, I loved it, I even cried along with him 🥹🤧. This drama has been a great opportunity and breakthrough for him, opening the door for his acting in future dramas. I’m looking forward to his future dramas. Hopefully, he can choose projects where his acting shines like it did in this one 😊
The preview for episode 11 last week was such evil editing and totally misleading. Ugh, so frustrating watching episode 11 today. In the end, we finally see who the real tyrant is
I seriously don’t know how they’re gonna wrap things up in episode 12 tomorrow, it still feels like there’s so much story left 😅 Hope the ending won’t be disappointing 🙏🏻
Ugh, from the preview of episode 11, it reminds me of the ending of Moon Lovers 😭 Looks like the ending in the Joseon era is going to be tragic 😭🤧 Hopefully there will be a happy ending in the modern era 🙏🏻
I’ve finished watching it. It was really intense, I liked it — they even slipped in a bit of romance 🤭 I really enjoyed Ding Qi’s mischief and silliness, even in tense moments, he still managed to crack jokes 🤣
Oh, is there going to be a season 2? From the ending, it looks like they’re planning one. Hopefully, there will be 🙏🏻🙏🏻
