I saw a music video on weibo for this drama, and based on the clips I saw, I feel like they won't end up switching…
that's what I figured had to happen.. The CP is in love with the thief, but she plays the whole role in the body of the SFL.. they're not going to have him end up with someone who doesn't look like the person he fell in love with , nor fall in love with the SFL in her own body. But now they've given the SFL prestige as a hidden princess, so she won't be going back to the thief's original life either.
Your comment is funny. It just makes me want to rebut every dumb comment like this OP.. but I feel like they're all children who have a mindset that idols belong to them and they don't have the experience to understand adult life yet. :/
Haha 'embroiled in dating rumor'. He's a full grown, unmarried man. Can he not DATE? Geez..I would say this has some prejudice to it as I think SK is not real tolerant of foreigners, but honestly, ' dating rumors ' are frowned upon when it's with their own countrymen. I don't understand the control and possessiveness that dominates much of Asian fandom.
I don't mind mini dramas, some are done quite well. This would have been one of those.. the acting was very good, I liked both leads. The story concept was interesting. But the execution of the story ended up being choppy and disjointed because it was forced into a mini drama imo.
I like this, I think the rating here is too low. I have watched to ep 13 subbed. The acting is good, interesting story, the chemistry is sweet and..... the leads are both attractive. I hate to bring that up, because I feel it's shallow and I will take a good acting performance over a pretty face any time, but here we have both so it's nice:)
I don't see a problem with their age gap. The story is really about their age differences and Shen Keyi is called…
Yes, I'm a Choi Si Won fan.. It started long ago with Oh! My Lady :) And I feel at any age, Roy Chiu should be the ML :) I personally don't have problems with older men still being romantic leads ( depending on the actor ofc). In fact there are several actors I am sad that if they are in a drama, they are not a romantic lead. i.e. Cha Seung Won, Zo In Sung, Ji Sung... But I think youth , beauty and perceived perfection are the unequivocal dictate in the Asian entertainment business. :/

ah, lol, I see.. gizzard. :) Altho, I honestly was distracted by his neck, but not because I ever saw loose skin, but because it was so tight his adam's apple was very pronounced. I think he is in good shape for his age. Also, interestingly, I did not find the sml attractive .. looking at his promo photo, he looks much better than he did in historical wigs imo tho. There have been a number of times that I have felt the sml was more attractive than the ml. The first one that comes to mind is She was Pretty ( SK version) . But I also loved the sml's character's personality in that as well.
Yes, but we all know that FL will end up with ML. But she suffered so much, i think they need time. But i will…
yes, sadly the Prince was written in a way that makes him quite unworthy of a hero title. To the end he is an arrogant a**.. Just because he cried we're supposed to sympathize with him? No. He has few words with his mother about her trying to kill his wife and child, then goes back to work. haha He puts his other wife in time out for killing a man and scheming against his wife he supposedly loves. He's an ineffectual, abusive wimp.
agree totally. I am pretty tired of age gap rants. Unless it's a minor, I don't see the problem with age gaps…
Yes, but all the things you mentioned are up to the individuals to decide if that's the life they want . It's not for other's to say it's wrong. Why is a supposed easy love life the right one? There are many challenges for lots of different types of couples, again, it's their decision . Cost vs gain. And no one should be able to tell them it is wrong. That is just an opinion, and what gives people the right to give their opinion to others about how they should live?

Grizzly? lol, clearly that's a subjective POV. I don't find him that way. I also don't mind age gap romances at all. Either in a drama storyline or in casting a drama.. As long as it's not minors.. We can talk about history but today there are many age gap romances around the world. People fall in love with, or sadly in some countries still, have arranged marriages where there is an age gap. I understand if it's not your or others cup of tea. But what I don't understand is why people constantly bring it up in the comment section about their disapproval of two adults in a romance. I mean, the drama is made, it's not like the story will be changed for those who don't like it. You also won't change the mind of people who have no problem with age gaps.

I agree with you. He is well written and is not some unscrupulous person. He stepped away when she made her choice of her husband. He decided to make something of his life. He remains a good friend to her, keeping her wants and best interest in mind. He told her good things about her husband. He loves her, but in no way is pushy or diminished because of it. imo. How sad it would be if the FL's character had NO ONE to turn to. Her family plotted to kill her several times and killed the only person she loved and depended on. It also gives her value, as doesn't the Prince hold all the cards in their relationship. And he's done a really crappy job having that authority imo. Doesn't tell her anything when he's going to marry someone else, just tells her to be obedient and endure it. He constantly knows he is making her sad, but does nothing to explain or alleviate it, he just leaves her alone to deal with all through this whole drama. He's not a prize imo. He tortured her when he 'suspected' she was a spy.
Yes, altho it has frustrations that are typical tropes for CDramas, I wait impatiently for the next episode. In the beginning I thought I might stop watching when a certain thing happened, but I waited to see how it was handled. While it made me mad at a certain character, I am still waiting impatiently for the last two eps. haha
This drama creates such controversy regarding the age gap between the main couple. The audiences put so much emphasis…
agree totally. I am pretty tired of age gap rants. Unless it's a minor, I don't see the problem with age gaps in romances or real life. Love is love. Why do others think they can say it's not correct you love each other? It's just weird to me.
