it depends of where you start I guess.. 6lbs off of 85 lbs vs 6 lbs off of 200 lbs is different. Yea, Christian…
I actually wasn't implying his wasn't a bigger accomplishment. I only meant to say that 6 lbs off of 85 lbs is more significant if compared to 6lbs off of someone more weighty. It could be considered " a lot of weight" off her frame. What Christian Bale did was a huge, and imo, unhealthy, undertaking. Why even compare to others who have lost more weight actually? There's millions of people who have lost more than her.
2, 3 kg is "Lot of weight"? Lol...Christian Bale lost 28 kg for The Machinist.
it depends of where you start I guess.. 6lbs off of 85 lbs vs 6 lbs off of 200 lbs is different. Yea, Christian Bale looked like a skeleton.. Tbh, I don't like it when actors lose weight for roles, I feel it's unhealthy.. to gain, lose, gain , lose.
I will certainly NOT be watching 'for the king'. Yes, I'm his fan, but this story about a strong woman during difficult times is interesting. I find that kind of fandom troubling, already spreading negativity about a drama before it's aired because a fav actor doesn't have a larger role in it. He chose this part, perhaps he liked that role, or the time spent per money made, or the director or any other number of reasons. But it's completely possible he didn't want a larger role, so why blame the production? Not saying you are blaming them, but so many are , and it's baffling.
ahh... I have not seen the actress, but I like roles where women are clever and persevere. However, I looked up the real Queen Woo and found her rather conniving and evil. Ofc, in those times and in that situation, it might have been necessary , or die :/
I haven't watched this yet, but i don't understand what you mean. Aren't they a couple? Isn't there meant to be…
Well, I think every couple ( I'm not talking about abusive relationships) have their own intimacy and knowledge of each other, they don't need to ask. Yes, Vincent Cassano described it well, but you said " And yes, you should ALWAYS ask permission. ALWAYS! Clear, enthusiastic consent is a must." I don't think you've been in a long term romantic relationship, this isn't what happens. Couples already understand each other and it would be ludicrous to ask for permission every time..

I find this so unrealistic. Have you been in a relationship? For how long? It's really not something people in relationships do- ask every time before they hold a hand or give a kiss. I've never seen that in my life
i watched the rating for this go down from 8.5 to 7.6 over the years
Now that you mention it, it seems a bit unfair to have a drama still be rated when so many years have gone by.. It's clear that so many things change over the years that makes us view older dramas differently. ah well, I don't know the answer..haha
I meant -> you said yourself that you would drop it after his scenes.
"Dropping after his scenes."
