I thought I'd sworn off anymore of these type dramas even though I am one of those people who enjoyed Ashes of…
Thanks for checking it out, All_In. This drama does have its ups and downs (the last box talks about this), so I would suggest to give it a try with low expectations and an open mind. :) 80% of the drama takes place in the mortal realm, closely interlinked with the other two realms unlike AOL and Eternal Love, where we get a closer look at the celestials and Heaven Realm.
I thoroughly enjoyed this drama. That Hao Chen dude would trigger me every time I saw him, oh my! I guess he was…
Thanks for reading, Atoti! I liked how Hao Chen was the ideal good guy and didn't look even a bit evil, but still managed to get on everyones nerves by just being on screen. :D Teng She was the only character who gave me peace of mind during the EP40s and 50s. I loved how he acted like that, but cared about everyone, even Dijun. (The last episode.)
LOVED your article so much, Thanks !!just out of curiosity, who's ur fave character?
Your welcome, Queen Bee! I personally had many favourites and I mentioned all of them in the article. :D (Yihuan, Si Feng, Xuanji, Ruo Yu, Teng She, Zi Hu, Wu Zhi Qi, Mingyan, the merman...) I liked how different everyone were and couldn't choose any one of them. They all shined. :)
Really nice article!!!! I started watching the drama after reading it
Thanks, Ana. Glad to hear that you are giving it a chance. It 'might' be a bit difficult in the first episodes as we mentioned in the last box, but do give it a try, :)
No, it’s a completely different drama that is adapted from the novel The Colored Glaze Beauty by Shi Si Lang.
I'd suggest watching it slowly without binging. ;) It took me a month to finish as I watched one or two episode per day. Thanks for reading, stilldoll! :)
I followed through - 2x speed, from mid to the end of the show. This really has the potential to be on-par with…
Ashes of Love had really powerful characters and an incredible villain whom we do not know whether to pity or hate. So, the story was more wholesome. In this one, we see one of the tribulations and 80% of the plot is hidden from the leads. Even the main villain was just plain selfish. That sure had its impact on the story.
As I had mentioned before, I didn't like the ending of this drama. (I am not talking about the epilogue, which…
I thought about it too. But, it might have had a bad ending cause the Star of Mosha was extremely bitter and would have destroyed everything if God of War's people had not come on time.
I loved the OST too, most of the songs, especially some of the fight scenes and sweet scene background instrumentals. :)
