You’ve convinced me, I’m gonna start watching this now! This looks entertaining, and it’s not too long either
Thanks for checking it out, Felicis. :)

I sooooooooooooooo hope there will be a second season, this show was so much better than I expected when I started…
I too, hope so, but the first season itself wrapped up filming way back in 2018 December. Some actors like Ye Xiao Xiao's and Zhao Wo Huan's have already been cast in other dramas this year. Let's hope that they decide to pick it up again.

Wonderful review. I too enjoyed this drama as it was entertaining and also thought provoking as evil is not necessarily…
Thanks, Tagati. :)

I love this show sooo much I rewatched, Im still waiting for Season 2 although I know S1 ended not too long ago.…
Thanks for reading, Cherry! ZWH was the only guy I met in a wuxia drama who made plans, acted and did things like a normal person would. He really is a memorable fellow. :)

Sold! Thank you for this article: like you, I didn’t continue after watching episode 1, but you’ve convinced…
No problem, Dingoo. But, keep the expectations a tad bit low... I kinda went deep into detail.;)

Hey, I loved your article & read it all despite it being so long, so that must mean it's well written! ^_^ I must…
Thanks, Estelle. This article is actual the short version. :D
I named it Beyond the Radar for the same reason. I think this drama suffered something like the doppler effect. ;)
Made somewhat a buzz, but still didn't attract viewers as compared to dramas with known cast.

Thank you for this article! It is one of my favourite dramas I've seen this year, exactly because of all the points…
Thank youu!! I too loved this show, but I seem to be the only one who is hyping it. I read some articles which did say that it was adapted from a novel. (Chinese articles.) And I also read a few saying it was an original script, but someone mentioned under one of AvenueX's reviews that it was a book adaption, too? I'll change that! :D
And the last dramas I am watching are both court and jianghu related (Love in Between; Nirvana in Fire). The pure seemingly jianghu releases I saw recently was the Legends with actual sect wars. The Untamed is seemingly the same, but it falls more in the "Candy Wuxia" category. Others all are more comedy type releases recently.

Person Una You
I kept wondering where I'd seen her and then it struck me. She looks so much like a friend of mine.
On Love in Between Aug 2, 2020
So, in short , literally, nobody has a clear idea about the ending, budget got pulled in between, plot went down as a result, zero promotions, unaired scenes, but still labelled as one of the best wuxia dramas that released in recent times by reviewers? That is some mess...

Title The Untamed Spoiler
Are there any dramas similar in setting to this one? Like I'm curious about the genre (wuxia/xianxia??) but specifically…
The Legends (2019) is the other drama I watched that particularly deals a lot with sects and their powerplay. Another heavier Wuxia drama was Princess Agents. Not sects exactly, but the power struggle takes centre stage and the basic storyline is similar to Untamed albeit being told from a completely different point of view. (Yan Xun and Wei Wuxian). The Winner is Love also deals with sects, but the rating is not too good. There maybe other dramas though...
