These pains can radiate in different directions... believe me, I had these problems and thought I couldn't walk...…
I think they mean the surgery scar, which should be on his right side but is on the left in the drama if I recall

There are dumbasses with no media literacy in the comments 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️. Iljo was never officially Adopted!!!!…
No he said he has never been added to the family register. They could still be biologically related without doing any official paperwork. The drama has not confirmed he is adopted up to this point. That's likely the twist for the last couple episodes.

is this a tragic ending- does anyone know yet? when the recommendations are Mr Plankton and 2521 I worry
We don't know yet. My gut says this could go either way, but I'm leaning towards happy ending. Usually when characters have a lot stacked up against like Ji Woo does it doesn't usually end tragically? Like Mr. Plankton and 2521 are pretty light up until they aren't, if I recall? This one has a heavier vibe from the get go making me think it well eventually lighten up as we go.

Personally, if I see a drama rated under an 8.0 on MDL, I presume it's a good one. So many trolls on this site…
I've started to go the same way, lol.

she breaks up with the ML then gets married and eventually divorced? I haven’t watched any episodes yet so I…
They date in university when they are 20, she leaves him (looking like mental health issues maybe or her family), they date again at 28, she leaves him again (we don't know any of the circumstances of this reunion or break up yet), he falls into an alcoholic spiral and enters a rehab program. She's enters into a loveless marriage (I assume family pressure or business related until shown otherwise). Her husband is cheating scum and she divorces him. The ML is the reporter who writers the story on the cheating which is why she gets back in touch with him.

I'm surprised that the writers are writing the ML's friends as so welcoming to the FL. They literally watched…
There was that one friend who was like what the actual fuck dude? And I kind of agree with him so the writers are gonna have an uphill battle to convince me this relationship is worth saving.

I think it'll be a good binge watch. It is gorgeous. I think my biggest issue is, idk, I find the characters kind of dull? But I'm willing to invest some more time to see if it pulls me in more.

So far so good. The narrative has been really one sided so far so it's hard to understand why the male lead keeps entangling himself with her. But I'm interested to see their past unfurled.

To be fair, she had some mental health issues and her mother is a monster. She had been having such a lovely time…
I'm less concerned with their break up at 20, because Gyeong Do seemed to bounce back from that and was willing to enter a relationship of some kind again at 28. But their break up at 28 is a black hole right now and all we have is the fall out for Gyeong Do. Which is epically bad.

Now, we can't really blame her for his alcoholism, that's not really how addiction works. But the fact that he was so unable to regulate his own feelings that he turned to substance abuse is not great. Getting involved with her again can't be good for his own sobriety.

I don't think she ran away to New York at that point, because that introduces a rather big plot hole. We know…
This is a valid point so maybe we don't have the whole picture yet. But if this isn't when she goes to New York, if they do make up after this point, very curious why she ends up going to New York anyway without even telling him.

After FL got married, seems like she must have become a socialite or something like that. But will be interesting…
I'm curious why she married this guy at all. My assumption is family pressure but her mother doesn't seem to care about her and she doesn't seem to have any power in the company currently so would they have even bothered to use for a business marriage.

There’s zero chance he goes to Chicago. Given the number of episodes, it’s likely ML+FL will stay in Korea,…
See I hate that. Now, maybe the actual context of the plot will make me not hate it. But right now I hate it.

Okay see the problem is they have really great chemistry for me so it's easy to forget what a trainwreck their relationship has been. I loved seeing him stand up to her ex-husband.

Looks like they broke up the first time because they had a fight over their different social status' and she fell into a depressive episode(?) and ran away/was sent to New York?

We don't know much of anything about their relationship at 28 other than Gyeong Do did not take the break up well at all. And it's really hard to want them to get back together after seeing those flashbacks.

If this romance is going to work for a third time they have to show a) why it didn't the first two times and b) convince us that they've dealt properly with those issues so that it won't be a problem again.

Also just thinking while watching this one it's got to be a refreshing change for the folks who hate how alcohol is often presented in dramas. This one is actually looking at the consequences.

I fucking said her husband was poisoning her, lolololololol

So Ji U is 38 and apparently had no career of her own? Really curious what kind of life she has led (or been forced to lead?)
